Mycroft is exceedingly proud of Sherlock. He always brags about him to his closest associates. Of course he doesn't tell Sherlock this; he keeps up the charade that he feels Sherlock is only slightly smarter than the general population. However, somehow Sherlock finds out that his brother brags about him behind his back.

How in the hell do the the (seemingly) normal parents we saw in s3 end up with Mycroft and Sherlock for children? I have some vague theories involving growing up isolated on some sort of government base where Mummy worked but thats as far as i've gotten. Feel free to use that or go wiiiiiild.

Ok...(Im so bad). I would love it if towards the end of Riechenbach Fall, that instead of Sherlock sleeping with Molly, he slept with FemJohn (or Omega John or a John that can get pregnant. I honestly don't care) and after Sherlock's "suicide" John discovers he's pregnant with Sherlock's baby. Scared, heartbroken and hurt, John considers abortion but cue Mycroft's underhanded intervention and his (at first, unwanted) involvement.

Mycroft starts falling in love with John over the course of the pregnancy and doesn't tell John that Sherlock's alive because he doesn't want to lose John. They get married and even though John always loved Sherlock, their romance was short lived. Cue Sherlock coming home.

He is going to surprise John and when John stands up, he's heavily pregnant with Mycroft's baby and Mycroft comes out after and John is horrified, shocked and angry but most of all hurt. He takes his and Sherlock's baby and moves out for a while (hiding because he's gotten good at knowing Mycroft's tricks).

Up to the author whether John goes back to Mycroft or Sherlock but I think this scenario works for season 3 easily. If this isn't written, I'm tempted to do it myself. It's full of drama! Teehee!

I read a part of a piece the other day which talked about how pelvic exams and other PRECAUTIONARY exams of the genitals is technically rape/coercion by someone hiding behind the label of a medical profession (using the threat of potential medical problems as a way to scare patients into saying "yes" to being examined was one).

I'd like to see this played out. Mycroft or John finds out Sherlock's past gynaecologist (like when he was much younger) pushed very hard, didn't allow for no, ignoring Sherlock's withdrawal of consent halfway through, going as far as having nurses or other doctors physically hold Sherlock down while they painfully lengthened and worsened the exam.

To this day, Sherlock is scared of being forced to go through it again. The trauma runs deep - he's terrified of someone going down on him or inserting their fingers into him when their head is close to his sexual organs.

Bonus for: Johnlock with top!John.
And: gynaecologist doesn't get consequences.

John is angry at Sherlock to the point of deciding that they can no longer be friends (maybe he thinks so just in the heat of the moment or actually decides that this is it). He packs his bags and leaves. For once, Sherlock starts crying for real... and can't stop. He embarrasses himself in front of other people, but his heart is broken and his tears won't stop for days. Slowly, but surely, he's withering away.

When somebody tells about it to John or John sees it for himself (maybe Sherlock is too far gone to care about humiliating himself, so he comes to John to beg him to come back), John says that it's just an act, he's seen it before, and it's not like he cares anyway.

Good johnlock ending is preferable, but not necessary.

During that scene in the restaurant Mary asks John who this man is, referring to Sherlock. John looks at Sherlock coldly and answers Mary that he doesn't know who this is and couldn't care less. Sherlock sees that John actually means the latter and his heart sinks.

John knows Sherlock, of course, but it's true that he wants nothing to do with him any longer.

I feel like that chair that sits right by the door in Baker Street, the one adjacent from the sofa, is really underrated. It's usually either John or Sherlock's armchair or the sofa that gets mentioned in fics, but that other chair is super underutilized. Maybe they can cuddle in it, or have sexytimes, or one of them falls asleep there. It has wheels on the bottom. Get creative

Sherlock investigating a case - Moriarty is the victim

Moriarty has enemies I'm sure. So maybe once when one of his cases as a consulting criminal doesn't go so well the unsatified client comes back and takes revenge on him. Moran is there too and tries to protect him but they knock him out.
They shoot Moriarty in the stomach with Moran's gun then torture him, humiliate him, rape him and leave him there. Moran calls the ambulance but doesn't remain there as he is a wanted criminal too.

Sherlock takes the case (because I do think he misses Moriarty if something happens to him and he needs to know what happened), surprises and upsets everyone because he would rather choose the case of that madman than a case of an innocent person. Not to mention that John begins to see too much emotions boiling up inside of Sherlock during the investigation which wouldn't fit with Sherl's character.

Sorry for long prompt... Just can't take it out of my head...

. . . but it's actually the opposite - council flat, out-of-work parent, terrible schools, etc. The only reason they look well-off now is because Mycroft scrimped and saved from his summer and after-school jobs to provide the necesary trappings (expensive-looking clothes and such) so he'd be in a position to rise quickly in society and therefore his chosen career. The only reason Mycroft and Sherlock are able to pull it off is because they're brilliant and taught themselves the right accents, multiple languages, violin, etc. - everything they'd need to fit in. Their parents don't really understand their need to get "above their station" but generally don't mind now that Mycroft really *is* pulling in a good deal of money and is supporting the family. Sherlock takes on a flatmate, thougb, because he really does need help with the rent!

Usually neither of them talk about it, but Sherlock is the butt of one good-natured jab too many (from John or Lestrade, probably) and can't stand it anymore.

I want Sherlock breaking down and crying in Mummy’s arms because John doesn’t love him back. It’s the first time he’s crying in years, and it’s the first time he confides in somebody.
And, let’s face it, Mummy is awesome. She knew that Sherlock is gay and in love with John all along (because mothers just know that sort of stuff), and of course she cuddles her poor overgrown baby, makes him hot chocolate and tells him everything’s going to be alright.

Basically, I want angst. And Sherlock being depressed and confused and needing his mummy because he’s unable to cope with emotions.

Failed invite - John/Mary + Sherlock

John and Mary think it's time to invite Sherlock into their relationship, a full on triangular three-waay relationship.

They go to Baker Street, they sit him down, they're very cosy with each other, and then they ask him. And it does not go down well.

Sherlock is horrified, embarrassed, stunned. Clearly never imagined he'd be asked that. He doesn't even have to say no, it's clear from his reaction that he doesn't want to, clear h doesn't think of them that way.

He makes his excuse and leaves his own flat, and it damages his friendship with John and Mary, especially John, almost irreversibly. It's not a quick fix, even if they do get passed it.

Post Reichenbach AU, John's Feelings Matter

John and Mary are already married when Sherlock comes back. The thing is, Mary is Moran and Sherlock tricks her into outing herself and her illegitimate baby in front of John. Mary is arrested. He also has Mycroft dissolve John's marriage for him, as Mary's ID isn't real and they might as well get it all done with right?

Then, when all that is finished, Sherlock turns to John and is like, let's go home to Baker St, aren't you happy I'm here to clean up after you and do what's best for you, why are you still upset about that, it wasn't real?

It's too much, and John just shuts down and goes back to his now-empty house, desperately trying to DEAL with everything. He won't talk to Sherlock, won't answer his texts. Sherlock is sad and confused, so eventually Molly or Mycroft or even Lestrade come over to harangue John for Sherlock's suffering.(after all he sacrificed and suffered for you/he misses you/ you're being cruel and selfish)

John finally snaps and rages at them with all of his pain and anger over the betrayals of two people he loved and trusted, his 3rd shattered life, his insecurities built up during his time with Sherlock, and his frustration with these people, who KNEW about Sherlock's plan, who didn't have to LIVE in a world where Sherlock was dead, who DARE to scold him over his feelings as if they don't matter. As if JOHN doesn't matter.

Sherlock somehow hears the tirade and (finally) realizes how much this has fucked John up.

Whether or not Sherlock and John reconcile is up to you, but DON'T make it easy. That is my one real requirement. I'm not discounting Sherlock's own suffering and PTSD, but not at the cost of John's pain either.

*I'm constantly frustrated with how John is treated in the show and in a lot of fics, and I might even fill this myself just to vent. I'm also open to other related fills if you can find them.
