Prompting Part XXXV

GUIDELINES

  • Anon posting is not required, but most definitely allowed. If you think you recognise an anon, keep it to yourself and don’t out them. IP tracking is off, and will remain that way.

  • Multiple fills are encouraged, and all kinds of fills are accepted! Fic, art, vids, cosplay, interpretive dance — whatever. Go wild! :D

  • Don’t reprompt until TWO parts after the last posting of the prompt.

  • RPF (real person fic, i.e. fic involving the actors themselves) is not supported at this meme.

  • Concrit is welcome, but kinkshaming, hijacking, and flaming are not tolerated.

THE FILLED PROMPTS POST
When you fill a prompt, please use the appropriate Filled Prompts Post to archive your fill (there are instructions on the actual post).

If the part you wanted isn't up yet, just wait and one of the archivists will get to it, but please, once it is up, make sure you post your fills there according to the guidelines. DO NOT skip out on doing this because it seems like too much effort. If you want your fill to make it to the Delicious archive, that’s the way to do it.

Do not be afraid to ask questions about how it works if you are confused! The mods will be happy to explain.

WARNINGS/OFFENSIVE WORDING IN PROMPTS
Please consider warning for prompts that may trigger people (and also for fills, because some people read in flat view) and phrasing prompts in a manner that strives to be respectful.

Things which you might want to consider warning for include: Rape/Non-Con, Death, Suicidal Thoughts, Self-Harm, Underage Relationships, among others.

That being said, this is a kink meme. As such, there will be prompts that could offend you in a number of different ways. Not every prompt will have a trigger warning, and not every prompt will rub you the right way. If you have an issue with a specific prompt, feel free to bring it up in a discussion that takes place off the meme. However, flaming will not be tolerated regardless of origin.

You are highly encouraged to scroll past any prompt that you dislike.

Remember: be civil, be friendly, but don’t be shy!

THINGS THAT MAKE BROWSING THE MEME EASIER FOR EVERYONE
Please nest your fills. Doing so will make it easier for archivists to save your fills to the Delicious archive. Using subject lines will also help people reading the meme in flatview keep track of what’s happening. Finally, titling your fills (even if it’s something silly) will be helpful to those tracking a lot of prompts or scrolling through the meme.

PROMPT FREEZES
Depending on the rate of activity, there may or may not be a prompt freeze when a part reaches 2000 and 4500 comments. However, there will be one when it reaches 7000. After the 7000 comments freeze, a new part will be posted, and all prompting should happen on the new part.

Johnlock bond ~ I once held you

(Anonymous) 2014-08-25 08:05 am (UTC)(link)
Moriarty/Moran/high criminals has Sherlock hostage and wants John as replacement, John willingly goes, mycroft relents. when Sherlock gains consciousness Mycroft tells him John died rescuing him and SH is affirmed bec he does not 'feel' John anymore. mycroft has fake but believable evidences so SH grieves.then in one way or another during solving cases he finds bits and traces that suspiciously looks like John's (cuz he still remembers him) and goes on search just to quite his mind/prove away his demons. Mycroft stalls him for his own sake. He then finds John alive and happy with his life, bonded to another and doesn't remember him.

will Sherlock try to get John back or let John his happiness?

any AU where there is a bond

John/Sherlock. John's Commanding Voice. Hostage Situation.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-25 07:34 pm (UTC)(link)
I absolutely love it when John acts like the army captain he is. We've seen such situations in the show, but it's never enough for me.

Some baddies hold people hostage and nobody can reason with them. The hostages really are in trouble.

John and Sherlock arrive to the scene (there's no interesting murder for Sherlock, but maybe they are there for another reason; to meet Lestrade, for example), and John, seeing how bad things are, takes matters into his own hands. He takes a megaphone and uses his commanding voice to make baddies let the hostages go and surrender (or else...). It's all about his words and intonation, his, I don't know, air of authority. He's natural, but his position in the army had helped him to refine it, too (once a captain, always a captain :) ). It works and the baddies surrender and let the hostages go alive.

Sherlock hides his reaction (goose pimples, arousal) and he's very impressed.

I'd love it to be 5 to 1 if you don't mind. Five times John makes people obey with his voice and his very presence (sometimes to deal with bad people, sometimes to stop the panic in some situations when scared people start running about like headless chickens and are more likely to get killed). Eventually, John sees how it affects Sherlock. And John is also aware of their UST. So, the sixth time he uses the aforementioned skill to drive Sherlock wild during their sexy times.

Please, toppy John and virgin Sherlock.

Yes. Perfect. I'll take several.

Genderswap, het - Sherlock/Fem!John or Fem!Sherlock/John - rough, post-case sex

(Anonymous) 2014-08-25 08:04 pm (UTC)(link)
I want some rough, frantic, post-case S/J porn, but with either of them genderswapped. Don't care if it's first time or established relationship. Maybe with a classic trope like one of them having just narrowly escaped death during the case or one of them flirting to get information and the other getting jealous. Dirty talk and/or some postcoital sweetness appreciated.

Fill: Give Your All to Me 1/4

(Anonymous) 2014-10-06 05:05 am (UTC)(link)
Hi OP, I hope this is even remotely what you wanted. I've never written a sex scene before, so enjoy my first try! If it is terrible, blame the wine. :P And the estimate of four parts is just that: an estimate. Idk if what I wrote will fit in that. I suck at math!

Mr. Chatterjee had finally admitted to his marriage, much to the satisfaction of Sherlock and the chagrin of Mrs. Hudson, who had let the entirety of Baker Street be aware of the depth and breadth of her displeasure. Very shortly, she announced, with as much pomp as a royal parade, that she was removing herself to her sister's for a month. Joan had tried to talk her down for quite some time, but to no avail; to Surrey Mrs. Hudson went, leaving 221B in the somewhat capable hands of its tenants until she had climbed down from the Mountain of Dating Induced Bitterness.

Mrs. Turner predicted absolutely mayhem within forty-eight hours. Mr. Turner ruffled the paper and grumbled something unsavory regarding their own tenants, earning a heated glare from Mrs. Turner before she turned back to the windows to eye Baker Street carefully. Everything seemed completely, absolutely normal.

She didn't trust a moment of it.

Which was absolutely respectable, if slightly off target.

A few streets down, Sherlock deftly hopped the bush-covered fence to someone's garden, leaving Joan to clamber over rather ungracefully. Her heels, which had started the night as gorgeous satin only to now be stained and torn, caught in the metal fencing. Sherlock moved forward to pull her free, arms under hers to tug her further into the rather gaudy collection of plants around them. She had just struggled free when the distinctively steel-toed steps of their pursuer rang close.

As he drew closer to their hidden garden, his footsteps slowed to only the occasional clip of steel on the concrete of St. George Street. Sherlock successfully tugged Joan back, hissing in her ear for absolute silence as he used the arm around her waist to pull her tight against him, hidden in the overhang of a rather unpleasant vine.

“Really?” she hissed, the word barely more than an exhale, though Sherlock wrinkled his nose as he jerked his grip as if she had screamed. “Really?” she repeated, slightly angrier, wrapping her hands around his wrist where it held her just below her neck. It had been a perfectly wonderful date. He, a visiting American doing research for a book he was writing, had appeared to be terribly put out when Sherlock appeared to tug her out of the small cafe where they had met for drinks. Judging from the narrowed view he’d given Sherlock, she sincerely doubted that she would receive a response to her hastily composed “I’m so sorry” text message.

Though, honestly, it probably didn’t help that the text wasn’t actually hastily composed, but one she had saved in her drafts section to send to whomever Sherlock had chosen to offend. Her apologies had already become rather repetitive, and it saved her typing time.

The sheer absurdity of having such a message saved was what caused her to tug now at Sherlock’s wrist even as he pulled her flush against him, further into the tacky decorations. “You can’t just do this,” Joan whispered. “Every time I have a halfway decent date, you’ve got a lead. It’s getting a bit ridiculous.”

“Do you want to know what’s ridiculous?” Sherlock leant forward to put his mouth as close to her ear as it could go. “That we’re trying very hard not to get killed, and you want to discuss your love life.” His breath brushed hot against the curve of her ear while thick black curls brushed against her neck. Her date had had carefully coiffed blonde hair tucked into a neat fauxhawk. It was nothing like the haphazard and neglected curls of her flatmate, and she shivered to feel them fall against the bare patches of her neck, hoping Sherlock simply thought she was cold.

Rumbly Tumbly

(Anonymous) 2014-08-25 09:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Sherlock's stomach growls embarrassingly loudly while he's swooping around being all dramatic at a crime scene.

Sally offers him her pastry.

"Sex Holiday" gone awry

(Anonymous) 2014-08-25 10:03 pm (UTC)(link)
John and Mary visit the US on their sex holiday. John didn't know that "egg plants" are "aubergines" and ends up having a bad allergic reaction. Mary coddles him between fits of amusement.

Anderson, Interrupted

(Anonymous) 2014-08-25 10:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Anderson has the full-blown break down which was hinted at in S3. He goes back home to live with his parents in the countryside for a bit and falls in love with an average sort of woman who nevertheless appreciates him and helps him return to something of normality.

Sherlock is sick of the cuddly jumpers

(Anonymous) 2014-08-25 10:09 pm (UTC)(link)
So he puts John on What Not To Wear. Only to later find that once the plushy pullovers on gone, he really misses them.

Fit

(Anonymous) 2014-08-25 10:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Donovan likes to go to the gym. It works off stress, and it helps her feel great about herself. Lestrade takes notice about the time she manages to wrangle down a runner in a rather impressive display of athleticism. Cue low-burn arousal and pining as he can't help but keep noticing how fit she is.

Keep it UST, please, since Lestrade knows anything with Sally would be unprofessional.

Sherlock: On Ice

(Anonymous) 2014-08-25 10:19 pm (UTC)(link)
John unwittingly signs away the rights of his blog to a figure skating production company. Sherlock is peeved by his "science" being reduced to spinning around in circles on a sheet of frozen water, and John's just embarrassed that the writer of the thing decided to gloss over the whole "married to Mary" thing in order to keep John doing long, intimate lifts with Sherlock.

Jim may or may not have been behind the whole thing.

Sherlock in Afghanistan - angst

(Anonymous) 2014-08-26 03:14 am (UTC)(link)
While Sherlock is "dead," one of the places he ends up in is Afghanistan. Up until then he's been able to put John - and John's very real grieving - out of his mind, but somehow being in/near the place where John got shot is really getting to him. Maybe he is able to deduce the true story behind John's injury (instead of the half-truth John admits to), or maybe he solves a case involving some of John's old team, or maybe it turns out the incident in which John got shot is somehow connected to Moriarty's network? However it works out, Sherlock is painfully awRe that THIS is where John Watson's life took its first turn toward them being flatmates. And it's all he can do not to just say sod it all and come back to John.

(Can be UST Johnlock or platonic, but lots of angsty Sherlock having to deal with painful emotions, please!)

Johnlock spanking and riding

(Anonymous) 2014-08-26 03:57 am (UTC)(link)
A good oldfashioned shag with Sherlock riding John as John spanks him hard.

And maybe they spice it up a little (literally) with a ginger-infused lube and nipple clamps for Sherlock.

Bonus if Sherlock falls apart over John and let's John guide him through the experience.

"I know it's fine."

(Anonymous) 2014-08-26 05:32 am (UTC)(link)
So, maybe I've been in the fandom too long & have started reading things into the show, but I was rewatching the series the other day & when he said this Sherlock seemed really...forceful? determined? "this is how it is, don't you dare argue"? IDK how to explain it.

Well, turns out, it's habit for Sherlock to be extremely defensive when it comes to homosexuality, even though he'd already deduced John had no problem with it. He makes it very clear to anyone that brings it up that "it's fine" and homophobia is the one thing he really won't stand for.

Because Mycroft is gay.

I would prefer for Sherlock to be asexual, but it's no great harm if you'd like him to be sexual.

Bonus: Love you forever if you could work Mycroft himself into the fic somehow.

Re: "I know it's fine."

Seconding!

Mycroft's side of the story

(Anonymous) 2014-08-26 04:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Most fics that go into Mycroft and Sherlock's childhood have it that everything changed when Mycroft went to school or Uni, that he either becomes this precocious boarding school pupil, or if it's about Uni, becomes this over officious junior minister that, either way, doesn't have time for his little brother anymore. Sherlock misses Mycroft and it ruins their relationship forever.

What if it was actually the other way around? Sherlock, the more sociable and energetic of the two, wants to do so much, and it's so much more than Mycroft can handle and he just can't keep up with his little brother. He slowly becomes less necessary in Sherlock's life, and when he goes to school, he loses what little place he had in Sherlock's childhood. He comes back during the holidays, and he's noticeably older, bigger and slower. When he tries to play along, Sherlock thinks he's just being patronising, even though Mycroft's just trying to fit himself back into the place he used to have.

But Sherlock's perfectly fine without Mycroft, and it hurts Mycroft so much that he adopts his motto "all hearts are broken" etc.

I don't mind if it's set in childhood era, but what I'd really like is older Mycroft reflecting, maybe correcting someone on their assumptions about how him and Sherlock were together as kids. Maybe it bits come out during some argument they have in front of other people.

previous partners/Sherlock, John/Sherlock, unrequited from others

(Anonymous) 2014-08-26 06:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Sally (or Anderson if you prefer), really liked Sherlock in university. Maybe they went on 'dates', maybe they just attended classes together and did what normal university students do.

Sherlock didn't return their feelings, and they've kind of always begrudged him a bit for it.
Maybe he said he didn't care about them, or just brushed them off.

No villain!Sally or villain!Anderson please. Not necessarily villain!Sherlock either, just perhaps not understanding how to do relationships when he was younger.

Reactions when Sherlock and John reveal themselves as a couple.
