GUIDELINES

• Anon posting is not required, but most definitely allowed. If you think you recognise an anon, keep it to yourself and don’t out them. IP tracking is off, and will remain that way.


• Multiple fills are encouraged, and all kinds of fills are accepted! Fic, art, vids, cosplay, interpretive dance — whatever. Go wild! :D


• Don’t reprompt until TWO parts after the last posting of the prompt.


• RPF (real person fic, i.e. fic involving the actors themselves) is not supported at this meme.


• Concrit is welcome, but kinkshaming, hijacking, and flaming are not tolerated.

Do not be afraid to ask questions about how it works if you are confused! The mods will be happy to explain.

Please consider warning for prompts that may trigger people (and also for fills, because some people read in flat view) and phrasing prompts in a manner that strives to be respectful.

That being said, this is a kink meme. As such, there will be prompts that could offend you in a number of different ways. Not every prompt will have a trigger warning, and not every prompt will rub you the right way. Exposure to something during the conclusion of a case leaves Sherlock and John ultimately okay and cleared by A&E, but with horrific headaches and chills for 24 hours. To combat this, they curl up together under a warm blanket in the quietest darkest room 221B has.

No prior established relationships, but J/S developing from the situation would be fine, as would gen.

Non cracky but humorous AU: Sherlock is an actual cop/police detective

Somehow, NOT because of a case, Sherlock has to work as a cop or a police detective for the Yard under poor Greg (because nobody else will take him.) Either because of probation, Mycroft, etc. he has to make this his semi temporary job instead of free lance.

Sherlock is of course not happy and causes everything from collateral damage, stealing donuts, to restraining orders at work. The Yard wants to fire him but 1)Can't because of Mycroft and 2)He's actually better now that he has first dibs on crime scenes.

Bonus: A police car chase and the reason why Sherlock doesn't drive.

Bonus 2: A criminal thinks he's a whump and Sherlock shows him wrong.

In HLV, when they're getting Sherlock tested in Molly's lab, John tells Sherlock that, "If you were anywhere near this kind of thing again [emphasis mine], you could have called, you could have talked to me."

Somehow we've gone from John not believing Sherlock could be a junkie in ASiP to him not only accepting that Sherlock has abused drugs in the past but also sounding like he's personally familiar with such instances.

What if he was? I'd like to read about a time Sherlock used while John was living with him. What caused it, what happened, how did it change their relationship (if it did)?

Alternatively, five times Sherlock almost used but didn't because of John (somehow), or five times Sherlock used despite the fact he knew damn well John wouldn't like it. I'm not picky!

AU. John is hired by Sherlock to do house chores and general looking-after right after Afghanistan. It doesn't take long for John to discover that Sherlock would and does sleep with anybody. Clients, men whom he picked up in clubs, etc..

John immediately sees through it and wants to offer Sherlock his love. But Sherlock is ignorant of his issues and adamant that he only does no-string-attached sexes.

Can John make Sherlock realise his thirst?

Bonus if Sherlock has a feeling towards Lestrade, which both John and Sherlock mistake as 'love' and John initially tries to facilitate it because John would do anything for Sherlock!

John and Sherlock get murdered or are as good as dead anyway (maybe John is comatose with little to no chances to be back again and Sherlock gets into a mental hospital with no chances to recover). What's more tragic is that they've left their little son or daughter behind (an AU where Sherlock is a rare type of boys who can give birth, so it didn't take long for John to get him pregnant).

The child is an orphan now (or as good as orphaned, depending on what happened to his or her parents). Greg and Mycroft are distraught because of what happened to John and Sherlock. They can't just leave the child, so they decide to adopt him or her.

Bonus if the child is very difficult at first and refuses to understand that his or her real parents are gone (even if they are physically alive, which is even harder for him/her to understand).

Please, a lot of tears and angst, but I'd love John and Sherlock's child to get used to his or her adoptive parents and love them (never forgetting whose son/daughter he/she really is).

(I was thinking of an idea where Mycroft started topping Sherlock when they discovered he has that need, but without sex, and Sherlock associates sex with vanilla, so when John comes into the picture he gets best of both worlds.)
