Some crazy villain takes near everybody hostage. He rapes Sherlock, either through some sort of extortion or whatever, in front of EVERYBODY. No one has ever made him feel that he was cared for, not as a child, certainly not as an adult. That is just the way things are and always will be.

It takes far longer than it ought for him to realise that now there really is someone who cares for him and about him. He has no concept of what to do about it, and what will happen when he inevitably makes them stop.

It's the most frightened he's ever been.

Sherlock & anyone, friendship / pseudo family relationship (IE, a father or mother figure or something).

You good with pre-canon? Sherlock's parents not being mean exactly, just busy and in over their heads with two genius boys (sort of like George & Winifred Banks in Mary Poppins). I have some ideas regarding Sherlock's backstory and this sounds like a good prompt to help flesh them out.

And it isn't a continuous loop of "I wanna bone my flatmate", but more of a horrific mess of screams and horror and horrible memories that makes John wonder why Sherlock *isn't* on drugs all the time anymore.

Moriarty's thoughts while committing a crime, preferably something complex and extensive and mastermind-y. You see, Moriarty is a closet doctor who fan, and while committing crimes, he pretends to be The Master.

Bonus points if he imagines Sherlock as the Dr, and Watson as one of the companions. I may die laughing if he imagines Watson as Rose.

Extra bonus points if Sherlock is more involved in solving teh mystery / stopping moriarty than giving a shit about any involved victims/people being harmed, and moriarty chides him because "No, no, you're supposed to care about people! Sherlock is a widower. Only Mycroft, Greg and Mrs. Hudson knew his wife and never mention her because it's too painful for Sherlock. She traipses out of his mind palace into the real world often enough anyway when he's alone, but at least then he's prepared for it. He's not when other people mention her out of the blue.
Sally/Anderson find out he used to be married, but not what happened to her, so they assume and thus tease him at a crime scene that she must've divorced him. Sherlock was right, Harry is John's brother. They are identical twins and a very few people can tell the difference.

I just read/watched this: Man Fiddles On His Violin During His Own Brain Surgery (http://www.iflscience.com/brain/man-fiddles-his-violin-during-his-own-brain-surgery) and inevitably it made me think of Sherlock. Would anyone care to write a fic based on this premise? Sherlock really wants to do something that is "sentimental", but can't bring himself to do it because of the voice in the back of his head sneering at him, telling him that things that aren't purely for his brain are superflouous and that he should be above than that.

Mrs Hudson some how knows that Sherlock is not only interested but really wants to go. So she pretends she really wants to go. Fast forward to now, John accidentally triggers Sherlock into stumbling into a room which reveals this memory.

So it has recently come to my attention the one of the world's first serial killers went by the name H. H. Holmes. I want this coming up in some conversation between Sherlock and someone else.
