I'm craving for something different from the usual Omegaverse.
I'd like a story in which Sherlock is an Alpha and John is an Omega and they share a flat and go through all their adventures and eventually fall in love (meaning all the cliches there could be). But in this case, they are not each other's bondmate. Rather, John's bondmate is someone else (kudos if it's Jim or Sebastian Moran), though I don't care who you want Sherlock's bondmate to be (an OC?). I'd like to see how they struggle against the urge to run to someone else and how they can claim that their love surpasses that of pure instinct and biology.
Extra kudos if John's bondmate is interested in bonding with John as well and we end up with a very jealous/possessive Sherlock.

Something compromises Sherlock's respiration, poison, allergic reaction, unfortunate blow to the throat or chest, whatever. Until it's resolved he has to be intubated, but he's not unconscious and there's no real need to put him under.
Sherlock is not pleased.

Sherlock/John The Great Game.

As we all know at the end of The Great Game John had a bomb strapped to his chest.
I want a different ending, Maybe when Jim leaves the gym, the bomb starts timing down from 5 minutes. And the way it's strapped on makes it also impossible for Sherlock to take it off without blowing the entire building.
Eventually true feelings are revealed.
Make Sherlock manage to take the bomb off John, or have them both die in an explosion. MKe it as sweet or heart wrenching as you want :)

He often wears earplugs, and never leaves home without them and sunglasses. He only foregoes all protection on crime scenes (to make sure he observes all) and reasonably controlled places like the lab at Bart's.
I was thinking about the meeting between John and Sherlock, like in the lab he's not wearing earplugs and sunglasses, but at their next meeting is in front of 221b he would definitely wear earplugs then and John wouldn't've had a clue.
Please just multiple situation or something. Do his friends/acquaintances know the difference?

pre-Reichenbach, post-HLV, completely AU/AR, I don't care.

It starts with phone calls/texts, and eventually moves to 'in the flesh'. Jim knows Sherlock, knows the way he works, knows his darkest desires, and knows how to manipulate him. Jim is willing to do all the shameful and perverse things to Sherlock that Sherlock can't bring himself to ask John for. He likes to taunt Sherlock with the idea of John watching. Sherlock protests, but he can't hide how aroused the idea makes him. Eventually, simply taunting Sherlock isn't enough. Jim wants to expose Sherlock, wants John Watson to see, and he knows that deep in his heart of hearts, Sherlock also wants John to know what a depraved little slut he (Sherlock) really is.

Sherlock Holmes is often bullied in school by a biker gang. One day, they've cornered Sherlock and have started to beat him up when another biker gang notices and steps up to defend him.

The new gang - especially John Watson - takes a liking to the boy, and they start inviting him to hang out with them. (Bonus points for John letting Sherlock ride on his motorcycle with him.) The rest of the gang (ie: Greg, Molly, Mike...) can tell that John and Sherlock are clearly infatuated with each other, even if they won't admit it, and make it their mission to finally get them to kiss already.

(I'd love to see Greg and Molly together on the side, but that's not necessary. I always felt that Molly would be decked out in pink leather in the biker gang, too.)

One day John leaves Baker Street 221B. Turns out he's in love with Sherlock, who's married to his Work. So, to spare himself any additional pain, John decided that they shouldn't live together any longer.

Sherlock is very panicked and distraught. He wants his John back. He says that he's in love with John, which is true, but doesn't mention that while the feeling is very strong, it's purely platonic.

They start living together again and become lovers. Sherlock is afraid of having sex, it's not his thing at all, but he still lets it happen, afraid of losing John. And, it's okay, John is very good to him in bed. Sherlock has to pretend that he enjoys it (even though his body doesn't react properly), because he doesn't want John to feel bad.

When John learns that Sherlock has been lying to him, he's really upset, with himself, too, thinking that he had forced Sherlock into having sex and Sherlock agreed just to avoid losing John. While it's partly true, everything was perfectly consensual. Sherlock has to convince John that it's okay, that there's nothing wrong that out of the two of them John is the only one who experiences a real pleasure. For Sherlock it's enough to see John enjoying sex, Sherlock likes seeing his pleasure, it makes him feel content. He also likes their closeness and likes it when they touch/cuddle/kiss.

I'd love John to, eventually, accept it and stop feeling guilty when they have sex. I'd also like to see nervous Sherlock, who's afraid of losing John to somebody else, who's not asexual like himself. But John loves him too much.

It's okay if Sherlock starts enjoying their sex somewhat, as long as it doesn't happen too soon. That would be a pleasant surprise though.

Sherlock has never wanted to have sex because Mycroft made him believe it's a disgusting weakness. Maybe when they were teenagers Mycroft used to punish Sherlock for masturbating, so that even now when Sherlock (very infrequently) masturbates it leads to intense feelings of shame. The point is that he's never wanted sex, not even with John, although he really wants to be able able to please him, and he doesn't know if it's just because he's repressed and it can be overcome, or because he's actually asexual.

I'd like to see Sherlock and John exploring Sherlock's sexuality in a very careful and considerate way, taking the possibility of asexuality as something that would be absolutely, 100% fine. Sherlock wants to know if sex is something he can enjoy with John, but John makes sure Sherlock knows it's fine if he can't, and John won't love him any less.

After the Fall, before he moves out, John suddenly finds himself having a new flatmate: Sherlock's fiancé who's come back from a several years mission somewhere. Since Sherlock moved to Bakerstreet in her/his absense, it only makes sense she/he 'returns home' there.
John is completely pissed:
+ At Sherlock for not telling him while he was alive
+ At Mrs. Hudson, because she knew all along and still made those jokes about him and Sherlock being gay for each other
+ At Mycroft, for not warning him about the impending new flatmate, and if that's not enough of a reason to be pissed then surely Mycroft being bloody Mycroft is a good reason to be pissed
+ At Sherlock's fiancé for being so much like his dead flatmate and not showing any care that he's dead at all (she/he knows Sherlock lives)
+ At Sherlock's fiance for being so much like his dead flatmate that he sometimes feels the urge to kiss her (she does not reciprocate)
+ At Sherlock for having such an amazing fiancé and just letting her/him go on such a long mission as an experiment ("Absense makes the heart grow fonder", true or false?)

I'd like all of those points, but if you can't make them all work, that's fine. Only the first point is a given, I want a totally pissed John that his best friend didn't tell him he had a fiancé.

Post SOT:
John and Mary are on their honeymoon when they get an unexpected call from Mycroft: Sherlock went on a case alone, and was terribly injured by the suspect. What has the doctors most worried is the head wound, they won't know what kind of damage has been done until Sherlock wakes. When Sherlock does wake, he has no memory of John Watson. His memory has been regressed to a time shortly before he was introduced to John. He even remembers looking for a flatmate...

When Sherlock sets foot inside 221b for the first time in months, he takes one look around the flat and turns to John and matter-of-factly says "I was in love with you."

John's mind sticks on that: "I was in love with you".

Sherlock follows with: "Don't worry John, those feelings are gone now."


(I only ask that Sherlock's feelings for John never return. He's refamiliarizing himself with John in an entirely new situation: John is married, they don't live together, and they don't spend nearly as much time together as they did before The Fall. I think in these circumstances, Sherlock wouldn't fall in love with John. Whether John is or ever was in love with Sherlock, and how John reacts is up to you.)

Oh oh oh why does this break my heart. It could be...happy even. I mean, John loves Mary and Sherlock wouldn't be so damn besotted for someone he can't have...?but it's no good. No matter how I try this is tragic.

TW: implications of questionable medical care

Sherlock finds being sedated triggering. They remind him of the time he spent in a mental ward, and although many practices sound reasonable on paper and are still used to some degree today, the perfunctory and impartial treatment was horrific for him to experience. Forced drug intake, feeding via NG Tube, luke warm bed baths, the restraints, and the frequent sedations for the times his mind couldn't settle and he became "upset".

He and John get injured on a case and Sherlock protests receiving treatment before John, or before knowing how John is, and he won't co-operate with Lestrade. There's shouting and swearing. The situation spirals out of control, he gets threatened with being kicked out or being given something to calm him down, which takes the argument up a further notch as the prospect of being sedated sends him spiralling into a panic attack.

Sorry for detail, I just really want this sort of angst.

Holmes/Watson; Original ACD Holmes observing each New Holmes

ACD Holmes loved his Watson but never said anything. After retiring and dieing, he wakes to find himself an invisible specter watching over a different Sherlock Holmes in a different era. There is always a Holmes and Watson. Different genders, different ages, different times, different countries, and different backgrounds.

But as much as things change, one thing always stays the same: The Damnable Holmes Pride. Holmes set a trend in the universe and though there have been many perfect matches, somehow, someway there is always an obstacle that foils each and every one before Sherlock Holmes can put aside his pride and admit his feelings.

War, marriage, illness, accident, murder, and law. Each a death toll to a great love and friendship.

And ACD Holmes can only remain a frustrated spectator to the play.

Eventually BBC Holmes and Watson come along and everything seems perfect. No laws prohibiting their love. Both are healthy and hearty. Neither are married or betrothed to others. Neither have been taken in some blasted war. The only obstacle is pride, and ACD Holmes has had enough.


Bonus! Holmes raging and ranting in frustration at his other reincarnations.

Bonus!! Eventual reunion with ACD Watson.

John and Sherlock have confessed their feelings to each other and have begun a sexual relationship. But John is still married to Mary. He can't divorce her because he knows she's dangerous and fears she'll hurt Sherlock and disappear with their daughter if he tries. Thus, John and Sherlock have been trying to stay two steps ahead of Mary's suspicions for months, and this has lead to impromptu sex in places they figure they're safe from observation.

One day they're walked in on by someone they consider a friend or ally. Lestrade, Molly, Anderson — your choice. How does this individual react? What is the fallout?

P. S. I also prefer bottomlock, but if this turns out on the long side, I don't mind if they switch.

Seen some with Sherlock and John in a Tyler and Narrator (commonly known as Jack), asking for the same thing just with Molly and Irene.
Take as many or as little element from either Sherlock or Fight Club but primary asking for Molly to have unknowingly created Irene for along the same lines as:
