Except for the one time when he /thought/ to be alone with Sherlock's dressingown-scarf-deerstalker-sock, not noticing Sherlock observing every little thing.

Sherlock walked into the kitchen where John was busy filling up the kettle and leaned with her full weight against John’s back, burrowing her face in his neck.

“Bored,” she complained. John didn’t even turn to her as he put the kettle on.

“You’re the genius,” he replied. “Can’t you find a way to entertain yourself for a couple of hours?”

Sherlock slid a hand down John’s front, cupping his crotch.

“Well, I can think of a few things,” she said, and nibbled at John’s ear. Even barefoot she was a few inches taller than John, which meant her mouth was at the perfect height. “Though a couple of hours might be a bit too ambitious, I’m afraid.”

“Oh, ah ah ah.

“I’ll be in the sitting room, when you’re quite finished with your tea,” Sherlock announced, and walked out of the kitchen, shedding all her clothes along the way.

She wrapped herself in the dressing gown that was draped over John’s chair and plopped into her own, waiting for John to follow. She half-expected John to make her wait a bit just to be contrary and to finish making his tea while she sulked in the living room, but he walked out of the kitchen after barely a minute, looking only mildly put-upon.

“Well then,” he said, eyeing the trail of strewn clothes leading to Sherlock’s chair, and Sherlock smiled.

“Can’t do much of anything if you’re just going to stand there, John,” she said when John didn’t move, and he rolled his eyes before walking in front of her chair. She looked at him with a pointedly raised eyebrow and he just dropped to his knees, as he had done so many other times before.

“When did you last come?” Sherlock asked. She knew, obviously, and John knew that she knew. She just liked to make him say it, to make him acknowledge that he’d been restraining himself because she wanted him to.

“Two weeks,” John replied. “Give or take.”

“Oh. It’s been a while then.”

John didn’t say anything, though he looked a bit flushed. Sherlock raised her foot and placed her sole right between John’s legs, on the bulge in his trousers. She wiggled her toes and John fidget for a moment, arching slightly against her foot before relaxing again.

“I do so enjoy making you wait. I like to see you desperate to come. You’d do anything I asked, wouldn’t you?”

“Not quite anything,” John said, voice tight. His breath sounded a bit labored already.

Sherlock smirked. “Don’t lie to me. We both know there’s no point.”

She rubbed the sole of her foot on John’s crotch, making him gasp.

“Unzip your trousers. In fact, take everything off. ”

John stumbled to his feet. He took his jumper off, seemed to consider where to put it and then just dropped it on the floor with a shrug. His shirt followed. As John unzipped his trousers, Sherlock hooked one leg over the arm of the chair, reclining against the back. Her dressing gown fell open, exposing her breasts and her nipples, made hard and pointy by the cold air. John paused for a second, eyes darting down between her spread legs and then up again to her face.

Sherlock is about to be dominated by whoever (no Mycroft please) and is into it until she starts flashing back to being captured and tortured in Serbia. Ending is up to the writer.

That's supposed to say "He" ...but I guess Fem!lock could work as well...

Sherlock really gets off on seeing John flirt with, and even kiss or get groped by, other men. Women, a bit, too, but men tend to be more forward and aggressive about it.

He doesn't actually want John to fuck (or get fucked by) anyone else, but that doesn't mean he won't orchestrate things so that he can watch John get pressed into a corner by a man who desperately wants John's arse or cock.

I see two scenarios for this: either we follow the "John is trying to make surely jealous" pre-relationship thing and it backfires spectacularly (while also working, kind of), or John is very, very much only into one man, and totally not gay, thanks, not at all, and anything more than a little flirting is kind of humiliating to him, though he'll instigate it anyway so that Sherlock can get his kicks.

If you have another scenario for it, though, please, by all means, do that.

I have this unexplainable headcannon that John Watson was a total dick in highschool/college (maybe he was bitter about being short, who knows.) I'd just like to see something involving this idea...

Bonus: The fic is set after John gets back from Afghanistan, with John being totally his gentlemanly self and totally over his past dicktitude.

Bonus 2: Sherlock finds out about it from someone they meet on a case. Mockery ensues. (ex. "Sherlock will you please go out and get milk?" "Busy." "You haven't moved for three hours!" "What are you going to do take my lunch money?" )

Bonus 3: John and Mycroft went to school together. Mycroft recognizes him because John used to bully him (cause he was a chubby child. *shot*) Cue Over protective Mama bear Mycroft assuming Johns still the same dick he knew in school and throwing his now metaphorical weight around because he worries about Sherlock (constantly)

Okay, so I see a lot in the Omega 'verse addressing Omega rape and how heat takes away their ability to consent,but what about the poor Alpha who was walking home,, catches a whiff of something from an open window, and is now suddenly gagging to have sex with someone they never even met?

Here's what I'd like to see: Sherlock is an Alpha, and when he was in uni he had an Omega friend, Victor. Victor wanted to have sex with/bond with Sherlock, but Sherlock wasn't interested in Victor that way. So Victor deliberately tricked Sherlock into coming over when Victor was in heat to force the issue. Now, Sherlock's lingering issues from that incident are what are preventing his and John's, an Omega, relationship from developing.

This would be awesome! Second'd!

Sherlock resides for some time at the drug house where John meets him at the beginning of HLV. During his stay, he picks up an unfortunate companion, not discovered until after HLV.

Multi-drug-resistant tuberculosis.

Alternate "The Empty Hearse":

Sherlock's just presented himself to John, admitting that he's not dead. John's still deeply angry. Mary's promised to "talk him round".

Later that night, Sherlock shows up at Mrs Hudson's door.

She dies of a heart attack.

John's filled with rage. The last person he wants to see or speak to, now or ever again in his life, is Sherlock Holmes. Sherlock is himself consumed with guilt and remorse.

To top things off, during the Hiatus Mrs Hudson changed her will. She left John 221 Baker Street.

The baby is Moriarty's offspring.

After Mary dies John and Sherlock raise him/her anyway.

And consequently, needs Lestrade's cooperation so as not to blow his cover. Lestrade lets him order him around at work. Mycroft lets Lestrade order him around in the bedroom.

Or just some classic case fic with the two of them for the first time getting to know each other working together and first kiss and stuff.

Bonus - Sherlock is ever obedient(as much as he can be) now that Mycroft can directly cut off his supply of interesting cases with a flicker of his finger without pulling strings and bribery.

Everyone has magical abilities--John can heal with a touch, Mrs. Hudson's cooking includes potions, Moriarty makes everyone like him, etc. Otherwise, things are pretty much the same.

Of course, everyone assumes Sherlock's powers involve noticing things no one else does--until one day someone (Anderson? Donovan?) is especially mean to John about 'hanging with that weirdo' and gets Smaug after them. Turns out that dragon senses are just that good.

For whatever reason, at some point he's actually become Sir Sherlock Holmes, but he doesn't go by it and doesn't tell anyone who doesn't know (John for instance). And that's what bothers Mycroft more than the fact he hasn't been knighted: his little brother doesn't seem to value it.
Anything pertaining to this little concept would be grand.

I'm fairly sure Holmes did turn down a knighthood in Canon...

I honestly really expected this to happen in the episode (and I was kinda disappointed it didn't).
Like: Magnussen is teasing Sherlock about being hopelessly in love with John, his raging inferiority complex, his suicide-attempts, being a virgin at his age (surely there must be something wrong wih him or was he honestly saving himself for someone who truly loves him. cause that's never gonna happen, etc.), and so on. Go wild, make Magnussen even more repulsive. Hurt Sherlock, make him ashamed and unable to defend himself, make John go nuts.

john and mary's baby growing up and her interactions with sherlock

possibly studying, getting the sex talk, getting dance lessons etc.

Game developer Sherlock Holmes is notoriously hard to work with. He's just fired his fifth voice actor when a short, sandy-haired man with a cane walks in to pick up his friend to go to lunch.

Sherlock hears him speak and immediately seizes on *John* as the star of his new Afghan war based game and will not take no for an answer. John needs the money so they get started.

John is a natural Captain and as things progress their relationship becomes sexual as well as professional. They both want John to be Captain during sex--Sherlock has deep-seated submissive tendencies and a military kink, John is starting to feel in control of his life by being in control of Sherlock--but as they get deeper and deeper into the fantasy, it seems harder and harder to return to the real world.

During Scandal, Mycroft warded John to be there for Sherlock if he needed him.

Nobody, not even Lestrade himself expected to get a phone call of of Sherlock on the cusp of a relasp. Then again, Lestrade was the one to finally convince Sherlock to get off the drugs.

For whatever reason, John and Mary 'die', leaving their daughter to Sherlock to raise. He does his best for her, trying to raise her to be intelligent but socially aware, like John and Mary would have wanted.

She grows up thinking that Sherlock is her dad, and she wants to be a detective like him when she grows up. Its eleven years later, and Sherlock has dealt will all the awkard questions, like; where do baby come from? And, who was my mummy?, Did you love her? and so on.

They aren't living in London anymore, having moved to *** and she goes to *** private school. She wants her dad to fall in love again, not just because she wants a mum, but because she doesn't want him to be lonely anymore. That's the night Sherlock shows her the picture of John and Mary and tells her he could never love anybody more than he loved those two. He lets her deduce who they are, and if she realised that Sherlock wasn't her dad, she never let on.

He still does cases now and again, rarely though, he doesn't want to admit it, but old age is getting to him. The Yard calls during the summer, so she comes with him. After solving the case within the week, they head home, and Sherlock never expected to find John and Mary stood in his front room.

Cue, trying to figure out if to tell her that John and Mary are her parents, revealing why they had to 'die' and gradually coming to the conlusion they can be one big happy family together, without taking her away from Sherlock. Hint, hint threesome

John and Sherlock have been a couple for a while now, and John finds out that Sherlock hasn't even told his parents. Seeing that John is annoyed, Sherlock texts them saying 'Dating John now. Yes, we are having sex. No, I'm not taking drugs and no, we don't want to come to dinner.'

Of course, John doesn't know this, and a few days later while at work, gets a phone call from Mrs. Holmes, asking if he can meet them for dinner at their house. He agrees of course, and goes to meet them.

He gets there, only to find out Sherlock has no idea he is there and no intention of turning up.

John gets to know a little about Sherlock through his parents, and a good old fashion interigation.

Sherlock and John are Alphas. Mary was an Omega.
Or so they thought.

When Mary reveals her AGRA side, Sherlock puts some pieces together and finds out she's actually another Alpha, but was making herself a very convincing Omega in order to hide.

Sherlock is thrilled and can't wait to play with her new Alpha side, while John is a bit more hesitant.

(Bonus if Sherlock has her teach him how to pull off a convincing Omega and they switch things up a bit, letting her top while he bottoms and such.)

I'm thinking Lestrade puts him on a timeout or something, but forgets about him? Or maybe Sherlock stole Greg's cuffs, John finds out and as punishment has him wear them for some time? Something along those lines. And he can't get out cos the cuffer made sure to remove lockpicks, keys etc.
In short: Sherlock's hands are cuffed (preferably behind his back) for a fairly extensive while, and no sexytimes happen during it. How does he handle it?

The boys are having some consensual rough sex - maybe breathplay or bondage, etc - and Sherlock somehow gets injured. By the time he manages to get out the safe word, John's too far gone to hear it. He notices too late that Sherlock's unconscious/injured. Cue a sudden John freakout, where he goes from domineering to panicked and sensitive in a split second.

For whatever reason, Sherlock finds himself in possession of one Sebastian Moran's phone. He cracks the password code and delves into the texts, hoping for some priceless insight into his nemesis's mind through his second-in-command... only to find that what Moriarty and Moran appear to spend most of their time doing is sending each other the filthiest, kinkiest sexts imaginable.

Bonus points for Sherlock reading the sexts aloud to John, because if he has to suffer through reading, in excruciating detail, exactly what Jim Moriarty wants Sebastian to do to him right this instant, then John should suffer it too.

Extra bonus points if Jim knows that Sherlock has Seb's phone and sends him a beaming selfie with a grumpy looking Seb in the background bearing a sign which says something along the lines of "give me back my phone you wanker".

I need this like breathing.

I read a fill where John threatened to surgically remove Mary's trigger finger if she pointed a gun at Sherlock again, and I'm kind of craving a Repo! The Genetic Opera-esque Dark!John fic where he does just that.

Or: Dark!John performing his own surgeries on people to "keep them out of trouble" or "fix" them, whether they want it or not.

+ If Mary's arm is numbed but she's conscious when he removes her trigger finger, and he only takes the first two joints worth
+ If John at some point threatens Sherlock with a lobotomy for making faulty deductions
+ John finds a way to "fix" his sister's drinking habits
+ Involving other characters like Mycroft, Lestrade, Anderson, Molly
+ If John spends his free time relieving sexual offenders of their genitals and murderers of their hands
+ If John acts polar-opposite after each surgery as he unties the victims, gentle and loving as he tells them that it's for the better and he could have done worse and they'll get used to it
+ His being merciful is allowing people to keep appendages
