I'd prefer this be set while John and Sherlock still live together. Sherlock has embarked on a sexual relationship with Molly, his first, and it turns out he's pretty loud in bed. I'd love to read a fic that alternates between what Sherlock and Molly are doing in bed (maybe a long, slow blowjob that has Sherlock writhing) and John's reaction to all the noise outside.

Johnlock, Pain - and Not the Sexy Kind

Sherlock was shot. Bullets mean large holes in the body... large holes mean the monstrosity known as 'packing'... and the removal of packing leads to unimaginable pain.

Packing - basically, they stuff a bunch of gauze into an open wound (usually created during surgery) to staunch blood flow and keep the wound from healing too quickly. Sometimes, its a thin ribbon of material, but usually sterile gauze pads/balls.

John knows how bad packing is, and that the deeper the wound, the worse it gets. Sherlock is trying to act like it's nothing, but it hurts like hell and tears of pain are streaming down his face.

John holds his hand and helps him breathe through it.

The arm-twisting scene in His Last Vow gave me a mighty need, particularly John's 'he could break you in half' comment. What if instead of being a peacemaker, John takes Sherlock's side and they decide to teach Mycroft a little lesson?

While a bit of roughing up is decidedly encouraged it would ideally a lesson with positive reinforcement in the end, once Mycroft has been persuaded around to their way of thinking about CAM.

Spoilers for the ending of HLV!

The evening or so after his short exile, Sherlock, John and Mary are in Baker Street doing what they do, plotting against Moriarty, and it dawns on Sherlock that he needs Molly there. Right now.

She was there during the fall, and supported him through injuries, and danger nights, and he has a moment where he realises that oh god i can't do this not again not moriarty oh god please dont make me leave again i thought they were safe from the snipers was it all for nothing i can't go through those two years again

Bonus points: When Molly arrives to help calm Sherlock down, John and Mary are shocked that Sherlock saved John/Lestrade/Mrs Hudson from snipers they had no idea about, having assumed Sherlock was only concerned with destroying Moriarty's network. Super bonus points for a metric shit ton of fluffy Molly/Sherlock hugs and general comfort.

Reading a lot of Sherlock smut and I'm starting to get a little freaked out that I'm almost never seeing any mention of foreskin, even though it's a pretty big part of the penis and everything else is described in great detail. Given that Sherlock and John live in the UK and aren't Jewish--it's extremely likely that they'd both be intact.

I am intact myself, and the lack of foreskin in divsstands out to me. I'm not even talking about a fetish here--just that it be acknowledged and used appropriately when you write about oral sex and hand jobs.

I've been listening to the song 'To Build a House' by Cinematic Orchestra a lot lately, and it's bringing up a lot of Sherlock feels for me, in light of all of season 3. I am not a writer, but am an avid reader, have been for years. I would love to see if anyone else would be willing to take this song on and wrestle a story out of it.

Sherlock Holmes/John Watson, Four horsemen

In which Sherlock is the Horseman of Death and John is the Horseman of War (and I have strange thoughts after watching Sleepy Hollow and Sherlock back-to-back). If you want to add the other two Horsemen (Famine and Pestilence/Conquest ) in there too, go right ahead.

What happens when two Horsemen of the Apocalypse run around London solving crimes? WHY are they doing it? As the Horseman of Death, does Sherlock have *magical* powers that tell him when people die and how, and he needs to connect the dots for us lowly mortals? As the Horseman of War, does John automatically know how to use anything and everything as a weapon? Do others know that they're the Horsemen? Where do they keep their horses?

The night before John's wedding, after the failed stag party, Molly confronts John with her suspicions that Sherlock is in love with him. Citing the "You're sad when you think that he can't see you." quote.

John's wanted to believe that Sherlock loves him for a long time, so long, in fact, that when he hears this, he can't believe it. He decides to go through with the wedding anyhow, but when the minister calls for any objections to the union, and John turns to see the pained look on Sherlock's face.... well, he just can't hold back his feelings any longer.

He doesn't quite have the background, though, in either sense, to realize why Irene went back to the days before she acquired a British accent (if not a British name pronunciation) and more-or-less sincerely chose a melodic jazz song with an American gentleman pleading for a neighbour as a theme for John.

Mycroft constantly worried about Sherlock, so when the file of army doctor John Watson crossed his desk, he saw the perfect bodyguard for his wayward brother. Cashing in a favour, Mycroft indirectly hired "Mary" to set things up to make it seem as if Dr. Watson was injured in the frontlines.

Magnussen was using this incident to blackmail "Mary".

Mary loves John, she really does. But it turns out that he's not the man she thought he was. She was going to marry a nice, friendly doctor who wears cuddly jumpers. A calm and reliable person. She craved to forget her past. She wanted a quiet life with him, a lovely little house, and a baby of course.

But sometimes John frightens her. He suddenly goes violent when he finds out that Sherlock is alive. He talks about his military past and his military friends, constantly, and with such awe like he'd choose them over Mary if he only had a chance to join the army again. In a few weeks of his happy married life, he starts getting bored. He eagerly goes to a drug den to find a lad he barely knows - just because he needs adrenaline, he needs a fight.

He wasn't supposed to be like that! In the course of her career, Mary had seen injuries and violent death and a lot of trouble too - enough for a lifetime. She's not sure she wants to see some more.

That would be a brilliant set-up for no-fault Johnlock or angst. Mary actually being pregnant might make all the difference. So rather than danger bringing the now-equally-dangerous married pair together, she's moving slowly apart from John, while he's hoping they can bond over a hot gun. And he's gone through a lot to trust her, even managing not to read her file as a gesture that she's the most important one in his life and he trusts her even though she lied to him. Oh the FEELS!

Janine is Moriarty's sister, up till now she's been protected by CAM. Once she sold her story and went against CAM, she knew he'd out her so she plastered Moriarty's picture all over London. She wants safety, protection and obviously revenge on whoever it was that killed her brother.
