Lestrade has a fear of waking up alone, because that means that all of this was just a dream and that Sherlock is really dead. He wants to confide in Sherlock about this fear, but is afraid that Sherlock will mock him for it.

Sherlock, being the genius that he is, figures it out all by himself.

Want.

He got it right after all. Perhaps not in so many words, but it was the same killer.
Take it in whatever way you like. Maybe Sherlock gets a corpse from Molly and dresses it as a nun, or perhaps he has his brother arrange an actual nun to be delivered in whatever way, or just Archie's mother's reaction would probably do... Anything and everything.

The upcoming series of 24 is set in the UK, so anything and everything.

John Watson vs Jack Bauer: who can out-shout and out-BAMF who. Sherlock up to his ears in everything. Chloe O'Brien partying with Molly Hooper, Sally Donovan and Mary. Mycroft being incredibly amused by all these shouty Americans until their actions threaten his baby brother. Anything.

Yes yes! I blame the writers strike on why I got away from 24. Seconding.

While Sherlock was "dead", John took a job in the US. He filled in for a few months for a man named Alfred Pennyworth, ~~babysitting~~ butlering for a ~~super-rich emo brat~~ wealthy philanthropist inventor who likes dressing up as a flying rodent, fighting crime, and brooding. A lot.

LOL, John is certainly dry enough for it.

Sherlock's undercover persona during the hiatus is Ace at some point.
Maybe having Sherlock and Jack and John having to work together.

Moriarty may or may not be back (up to filler). But he wasn't the one who hijacked the televisions. It was Mycroft, who, rather than sacrificing his brother for his country, decided to create an excuse to keep him in London.

Meanwhile Sherlock and Mary can see and hear him but can't even let John know they're doing everything they can to help him, and can't go to the police or otherwise ask for help themselves or they'll lose everything.

I love this prompt.

Lots and lots of ABO sex. In a club. Any scenario: For a case? Alpha!Sherlock and Alpha!John sharing an Omega? Alpha or Beta!Sherlock sharing out Omega!John while he's in heat? Where Omega!Lestrade goes to let off steam if work's been particularly hard? Molly's secret membership to one such establishment? Where Anthea spends her lots of free time - sometimes with Mycroft?

(John/Sherlock in any capacity preferred, though threesomes and more-somes would definitely be a bonus.)

After Sherlock kills Magnussen, he's taken into custody. Mycroft asks for (demands) time alone with his brother. Up until this time, Sherlock's demeanor has been the same as it always is. Once he's alone with Mycroft, Sherlock breaks down.

Magnussen somehow manages to get Sherlock and John under lock and key. Sherlock does whatever Mangussen says or John gets hurt instead.
Moriarty had planned a big come back, but then Sherlock disappears. Well, how can Moriarty play the game without his detective? After deducing what happened, Moriarty turns up at Appledore and sets Sherlock and John free, but not before punishing Magnussen for touching his consulting detective.

I have a huge smoking fetish. I know, cancer. But, Sherlock is fictional (sorry ladies) so it doesn't matter.

Can I have maybe the five times Sherlock really enjoyed sneaking his cigarette, and the one time John (or whoever) completely ruined it for him?

Loved the moment between bros in HLV btw. Especially when their mom catches them. Mycroft denying, Sherlock blaming. Classic.

A year after his apparent death, Sherlock asks Mycroft to meet up with him. Mycroft is a bit miffed to have taken all kinds of risks rushing there only to find Sherlock is neither hurt nor in any particular help with the mission. In actual fact, Sherlock called him there because he just wanted a hug.

Aww! Seconded.

Pre Sherlock. Just any kind of relatinship between the two.

Sherlock Holmes disappeared as a teenager. He met Moriarty early, and the two of them ran off together in a whirlwind courtship (not necessarily romantic, though it could be) of outwitting the world and plotting perfect crimes. Then things turned nasty, with Sherlock growing uncomfortable with Jim's more extreme actions and getting into drugs, while Jim grew bored and disillusioned and turned his attention to tormenting Sherlock, refusing to let him leave.

Meanwhile, Mycroft Holmes is still a young field agent, not yet senior enough to have the influence to track his missing brother down - so it's sheer coincidence when he's sent to investigate one of Moriarty's schemes and he and Sherlock find each other.

Mycroft/Anthea, behind every great man there has to be a great woman.

(No smut if possible.)

Based on the Hitchcock film but you don't have to have seen it...Sherlock breaks his leg and is bored, bored, BORED and insufferable. He witnesses a murder through the window whilst spying on his neighbours through the window. Mrs Hudson and John pop in now and again to take care of him but they aren't convinced it's not his imagination.

Fantastic prompt!
Just adding that in Rear Window, the guy with the broken leg convinces his girlfriend to go over to the apartment of the suspect to snoop/ endanger herself while he looks on unable to move. John would so do this.

Any senario in which someone assumes not only are they a couple (they are or are moving towards it) but one partner is abusive to the other (he is not). Short example - following a case in which either John or Sherlock get beaten up by the bad guy, they go out for a meal, and the waitress/whoever counsels him to leave his boyfriend. Longer example - Sally is suspicious of the number of times she's seen John with bruises/limping/otherwise injured and jumps to the conclusion that Sherlock is responsible. RTI's more than welcome!

OP here - also fine with - gen, omega verse, earlier time period if you want to play with canon, other au's. The above is best case, I'd be seriously thrilled with almost anything involving this trope.

John has a masochistic itch that hasn't been scratched in quite a while, Sherlock deduces this early on and is willing to help him out. Initally it's only because he wants the post-endorphin John - relaxed and focused - but then it turns into something more.

Sherlock impersonates Mycroft to get access to somewhere he shouldn't be. In order to prevent the disaster that would occur if it was discovered, Mycroft is forced to pretend that he's Sherlock. They both end up having to play each other's roles in front of people who know their reputations but not what they look like.

YES!
Especially if they're in the same room, no doubt goading each other. (But as I'm not OP I'll take whatever is offered.)

The set up is up to you. I just want a scenario where an evil villain (could be someone from John's past maybe?) kidnaps Mary and Sherlock and gives John a choice - who does he want to save? Whoever he picks, the other will die. If he doesn't pick one, they will die both.

To make it harder, John leads a happy life with Mary, without children; he still meets Sherlock all the time and they continue to solve cases together.

Need this like air! (and hope he will chose Sherlock :))

I feel for Janine, w/her pretty face, flashing eyes, hearty personality and her plump thighs.

I'd like to hear how she deals w/not just finding out out some guy was using her for a month to get to her boss BUT her best friend of a few years, Mary, became friends w/her for the same reason.

Sherlock isn't that hard to deal with. She's been used by guys before, usually for the sex or as an escape from a girlfriend/wife, but she supposes that she can lump him into that category.
As she bitterly writes the letters to the papers, she hesitates for half a second, wondering if she should really go through with this. This is Sherlock after all, and she is actually quite fond of him, but he must learn his lesson like the rest, and so she seals the envelope and presses on a stamp.

Mary is something of another matter.
They'd been best friends since they'd met about five years ago, soon after Mary had moved to London.
They'd gone to movies, chatted for countless hours, soothed broken hearts and plotted revenge on exes together.
She'd been the lead bride's maid at her wedding, for God's sake!
To find out that not only her (alleged) to-be fiancée was only using her to break into Magnussen's office was one thing.
But turning from the computer to see Mary - her best friend, the kind-hearted Mary Morstan - dressed in combat gear and holding a gun - that was another thing entirely.
She only remembered Mary saying "I'm sorry" quietly before the world had gone black. The next thing she'd known, she was waking up in the back of an ambulance with a murderous headache to the news that Sherlock had confronted Magnussed and had been shot.
Janine set the letters to the side, leaning back into the stacked pillows of the disinfectant-smelling bed.
Her head still throbbed, and she clenched her teeth as if to threaten away the pain.
She would send the letters to deal with Sherlock, but she would talk to Mary before she did anything.
All she could do now was hope that her best friend had a good answer for her.

There was a soft knock on the hospital door, and Janine's hands clenched as a familiar blonde head poked into the room.
"Janine?"
"Mary."
"Mind if I come in?"
"Depends, you plan on hitting me again?"
Mary visibly winced, slipping into the room and closing the door quietly.
"I am truly sorry," she whispered, looking up through dark lashes, her eyebrows pinched together in concern. "Are you all right?"
"You have a lot of explaining to do," Janine replied, struggling to a sitting position with a hand pressed to her forehead. Mary reached out and took a step forward, intending to help, but Janine shook her head a bit, letting her know that she was fine.
"Yes, I suppose I do have quite a bit to explain," Mary said after a moment. "Shall I call for takeout? Anything you want, my treat. This is going to take a while."
"Chinese," Janine said, patting an empty spot on the hospital bed beside her. "I'm stuck here till tomorrow - the moron of a doctor thinks I have a concussion - so we have all evening."
Mary sat beside her, taking her hand and giving it a squeeze.
"Thank you for hearing me out-"
"I'll only hear you out on one condition," Janine said, holding her other hand up to stop Mary from talking. "Next time you try to take out Magnussen, you let me know, and you let me help. The bastard's about three months behind on giving me the raise I've earned, and his employee conditions SUCK."
Mary was quiet for a second, considering, but then the corners of her mouth pulled up into a smile.
"Wouldn't dream of leaving you out."
"Good."
The two shared a smile, and Mary pulled out her cell.
"The usual?"
"With egg rolls and extra fortune cookies."
"Is there really any other way to order it?"
The two grinned and giggled with one another as Mary punched in the number, and Janine felt herself relax.
Maybe everything would be okay after all.

Mycroft suffers from hematidrosis, a condition where a person sweats blood under extreme stress.

Additional note: "this condition makes the skin extremely sensitive, so torture would be doubly awful and touch - depending on the variety can bruise."
