Moriarty calls Sherlock 'the Virgin' because he notices that it annoys Sherlock. However, the reason it annoys Sherlock isn't because he's a virgin, but because he's not. Basically, Sherlock's virginity was taken when he was raped and, ever since, he hasn't been able to bring himself to have sex. Somehow, Moriarty finds out and actually feels guilty for mocking Sherlock all this time.

When Sherlock was little and anxious/hurting/depressed/scared, he would always stick close to Mycroft, knowing (without ever having to ask or hearing it confirmed aloud) that his brother would make the bullies go away or scare away the monster under his bed.

The same holds true now that they are adults. Sensory overload from either the wedding or the events of the fall has him clinging to his brother's side. Whether this is in public or private is up to anon - if in public, though, I would like to see others reactions to it.

Autistic!Sherlock is welcome, but not required.

While up in his room, John overhears Greg and Sherlock going at it downstairs, thinking they're alone. It goes on for a while and it's loud and god, that sounds like some damn good sex. So John, guiltily, wanks to it.

I want to stress that John isn't secretly pining for any of them nor is he sexually attracted to either if them, it's just that who can resist the sounds of someone in the deep throes of pleasure? Especially when one hasn't gotten laid for a while. .

Mycroft and Sherlock did the background checks four times over, tested her reliability rates, researched her past experiences-- everything that could possibly lead them to discovering that the therapist was a threat to the stable life the Watsons were trying to set up once again. In the end, they could find nothing wrong with the young woman. She was safe. They were ready to go.

Both husband and wife wanted life with the other, but in order for that to be more definite, and in order for their trust in one another to start to take root again, changes had to be made. Ella had helped John, and continued to do so. It only seemed right to start the same journey once again, together.

The first sessions were perfectly normal. John and Mary slowly began opening up, just as nearly all new patients did. During those beginning ones, things seemed fine.

Then the sessions grew less guarded, less afraid of touching subjects of high sensitivity, and more. It was easy to identify the PTSD within the doctor, especially with it written down, but soon the highest trained, most secure therapist crossed out the 'Mentally stable' written under the woman's file. Underneath, as each session passed, another condition was added.

She was supposed to be his rock, his anchor. And by God, did Mary try her hardest. It's only under the eye of a skilled professional that the cracks and flaws in her mask were noticed, and skillfully drawn back. Beneath the caring nurse, the supportive wife, and the ruthless assassin, was a shriveled, trembling, breaking person.

But one determined as hell to piece herself together again.

While I love Mary as a character, I dislike some of the choices she makes. That doesn't mean she's a bad person, or that we should all hate her so much. I feel like this fandom needs more Mary!love, and what better than a fic exploring her motivations for taking the actions she took?

As we can all guess, assassins can't be right in the head. Especially one who once was fine with her crimes, then suddenly changed her mind.

No, I do not want this fic to excuse her for what she did, but rather look at her like the tragic villain we all love in other shows and movies. (i.e. Loki.) But also, I want to explore her relationship with John after they decide to move in together again and start to lay the ground out for a new, stronger, healthier relationship.

This scenario's been stuck in my head for the last few days, so I hope someone picks it up and runs with it.

Due to a growing interest in sex because of his attraction to John and Mary, during his relationship with Janine, Sherlock decides to experiment. To his surprise the sex is actually quite a lot of fun and they have a pleasant night together.
Then Sherlock proceeds to break into Magnussens office, get shot, ending the sham relationship with Janine in the process. However despite the precautions taken Janine is pregnant.
Over the course of the pregnancy Janine and Sherlock become close friends, make arrangements about the baby's future and spend a lot of time with John & Mary since the babies will only be a couple months apart.

Unfortunately Janine dies in childbirth and Sherlock is left the guardian of little baby Boy Holmes. Sherlock is unprepared to be a single father and ends up moving in with John, Mary and baby Girl Watson for a few months so he can get help and learn about taking care of a baby. They never actually leave.

I want Sherlock, John & Mary to become a three person parenting unit for baby Girl Watson and baby Boy Holmes, whether this evolves into a three way relationship is up to the author. I imagine the babies being as close as twins as they grow, due to their close age and viewing each other as siblings.

Details are up to the author, but some ideas for the story:

-Sherlock inviting Janine to his parents for Christmas but not telling them and then casually saying "This is Janine, she's pregnant. It's mine." And then his mum faints.
-Baby Girl Watson calling Mycroft "Uncle Mike" as a child, causing this conversation "My name is not Mike and I am *Baby Boy Holmes's* Uncle and not yours." "Don't be silly Uncle Mike me and *Baby Boy Holmes* share everything."
-Mention of Lestrade having six or more children, and the biggest fight Baby Girl Watson and Baby Boy Holmes ever have is over having a crush on the same one of Lestrades children.
-When they grow up Baby Girl Watson ends up working for Mycroft in some capacity (e.g. spy), Baby Boy Holmes however is the type of person who loves messing with peoples expectations so ends up becoming the worlds most famous male model or something just to give Sherlock an aneurysm (though Baby Boy Holmes publishes important scientific studies in his spare time)

Anything would be good though.

Mary & John are married government assassins gone rogue who are perfectly happy with their murderous lifestyle, thanks. Sherlock is the secret weapon the British Government calls in when Mary & John get a little too good at their job and can't be caught.

Mycroft counted on Sherlock getting bored and going back to his pedestrian homicides. He didn't count on Sherlock becoming fascinated and infatuated with his quarry. Nor did he expect that fascination to be reciprocated.

Mary & John love a good chase and god do they love clever. Sherlock is more than happy to oblige them.

Molly's apartment complex has a fire and her flat has smoke and structural damage, so she needs a place to stay. With John gone, Sherlock just happens to have a room available.

Bonus points for casual domesticity, Molly contributing behind the scenes to cases, and Sherlock trying to be nice(ish) to her after pushing John away (with her responding skeptically). And, you know, hookin' up.

AU where everything is much the same: John is still an ex army doctor, Sherlock is still a consulting detective, they still flatshare. But one difference: Sherlock is in an abusive relationship. John is always there to patch him up afterwards. He tries to talk Sherlock into leaving the relationship but Sherlock is too scared/too relieved to finally have someone who 'loves' him to do so (at first anyhow).
Lots of hurt/comfort and eventual Johnlock would make me a very happy bunny.

There is this wonderful scene in ACD canon where Watson gets shot and Holmes finally lets his feelings show (“It was worth a wound – it was worth many wounds – to know the depth of loyalty and love which lay behind that cold mask.”). While I’m still holding out for a scene like that on the show, I’d also like a fic about it.

So I humbly ask for John getting shot during a case (a serious wound, not just a scratch as in canon) and Sherlock completely freaking out over it – going into shock, crouching next to John’s lifeless body, desperately shouting for help, hands covered with John’s blood …

I’d love for the Yarders to be present and to bear witness to Sherlock’s breakdown. They have always suspected that Sherlock is in love with John and now they have proof. Sally and Lestrade try to comfort Sherlock best they can. (I’d love this to be set after Series 3, but if Anderson is back on the force for your story, I’m completely okay with it. Just no Mary in this one, please.)

Gimme some rare pairing smut!

After the fall John and Molly find out that Sherlock was having romantic but only quasi-sexual relationships with them both of them. They decide to exact revenge on him by doing exactly what Sherlock never did for either of them. Specifically, they have sex in his bed.

A/N: Adapted from another fic. I think this pairing is more fitting for the story. Enjoy~!

The turnout for the funeral was small, but then, of course, Sherlock had not been an easy man to befriend. Molly shuffled her feet and looked over the pale drawn faces of the mourners. Mycroft concluded with a few solemn words on the quality of his brother’s character. They were lies, but nice lies. Looking over the tearful few gathered she couldn’t help thinking that Sherlock probably found this all hilarious.

A face at the edge of her vision caught her attention. John's eyes, like her own, were dry. They flickered to meet hers. Molly looked away almost immediately. The intensity in that gaze was too much. She wasn't the only one here furious with Sherlock. To think, she could end this for him with one word. But, she had made a promise.

The ceremony drew to a close. As others mingled and traded consolations Molly withdrew. She couldn’t stand to hear their hollow words. She didn’t want an empty pat on the shoulder. What she did want was a drink.

Molly was on her second beer when someone settled in at the bar beside her. It was John. His eyes were still dry, though now bloodshot, and his hand shook when he signaled for a drink.

“To Sherlock.”

John waved the glass of whiskey at Molly and downed it in one gulp. Molly tilted her beer in acknowledgement. He set his glass down for a refill. Molly couldn’t think of a single thing to say to him. He solved that problem for her.

“I don’t know how to say goodbye to him. Do you?”

“Burn St. Bart's guidelines on proper handling of bio-hazardous materials,” she suggested, as though she was sure. “He would like that.”

They shared a smile and another drink. Molly looked at him fully for what felt like the first time. Surprisingly, the man couldn’t hold his drink – two glasses of whiskey and already the color was climbing in his cheeks.

“I tried saying it after the funeral,” he admitted in a conspiratorial half whisper, dipping dangerously into her personal space and back out again. “It did nothing for me.”

“I see.”

She was smart enough not to ask any more. John’s mouth twisted and he dug the heels of his hands into his eyes, but when he straightened up for another drink there were still no tears. He set his glass down with exaggerated care and stood, suddenly composed.

“It was nice to see you, Molly, considering the circumstances.”

“You too.”

Molly watched John limp away, shoulders bent with an invisible weight. She finished her beer and rose to leave too. There was something she still needed to do.

Anthea worries about her boss, because he has danger days too. He refuses to acknowledge her worry and brushes it off as unprofessional. So instead, she contacts Sherlock whenever her boss is in a slump, and he invites Mycroft over for an innocent game of Cluedo.... and Operation... and Parcheesi... until Sherlock is certain that Mycroft is feeling better.

Every day, before heading to secondary school, Mycroft would walk his little brother to nursery school.

Mycroft has never really 'cared' about anything before, but he's quickly starting to realize that the little ball of energy known as Sherlock Holmes may just be an exception.

It's the first Christmas that the entire Holmes family will be spending with Little!Sherlock. However, Sherlock is overcome by sensory overload and starts to throw a tantrum in the middle of the celebration.

Mycroft takes Sherlock into another room and rocks him as they watch the first snowfall of the season.

What are you doing to my heart?

I have such a thing for angst...So can I just have Sherlock pining really hard over John? Anything where Sherlock is stupidly in love with John but thinks a relationship between them wouldn't work or that he's not good enough for John.

The first (and for many years, only) time John Watson met Sherlock Holmes, it was at her wedding to his sister, Harriet. She made quite an impression. Not long after, he was shipped off to Afghanistan, and she embarks on a relationship that, although very loving (Harry is, in fact, the only person she has really loved, the only one she feels such strong sentiment for, until the other Watson sibling comes along), consists of two recovering addicts (maybe they even met whilst in rehab) with self-destructive tendencies, and slowly implodes to the point of separation and divorce...

...at which point, invalidated home and now a war hero, John runs into Mike Stamford at a park, and ends up becoming flatmates with his ex-sister-in-law. It isn't very long until they become total best friends forever, even through Moriarty, Reichenbach and John's own marriage.

What changes, and what doesn't? Does Sherlock give Harry an engraved phone, which Harry gave to John? How did Harry cope with loving the world's only consulting detective? Were Mycroft and Lestrade also at the wedding? Hell, half of Sherlock's and John's conversations in ASIP would be completely different, for a start. And how does Harry now feel, considering her ex-wife lived with her brother, went on cases and became best friends with him, died, came back, and then was John's best woman at his wedding, forgived and all fine again?

TL;DR: Sherlock is John's former sister-in-law. They are still them and forever friends.

John and Sherlock were together pre-Afghanistan, and a younger!Sherlock had almost a twink-like look about him. He was a little thinner, less muscular, and all around more feminine looking - in fact, one of their favorite role-plays was him as a woman (cross-dressing welcome too, but not required).

However, while John was away, Sherlock stopped sending him updated pictures. Because he was getting older and more mature-looking, he was losing that twink-like appearance and was afraid John wouldn't want him anymore. John, completely oblivious, is none-the-wiser to Sherlock's distress.

John returns home to find a stranger in their flat, which is actually Sherlock. Cue Sherlock anxiously trying to keep up the charade by any means necessary... and it all coming out in the wash.

Bonus:

If anon choses the cross-dressing route...

+100000 if Sherlock attempts to fit into one of the outfits, only to be dismayed when it rips because he's taller/muscles have gotten larger/etc.

John is four months pregnant and looking for a way to tell Sherlock. He decides to try and broach the subject by asking Sherlock his opinion on ever having kids - Sherlock's response? He wouldn't want to taint the gene pool. (In reality, he's really worried he'd make a lousy excuse for a father, but refuses to speak his insecurities aloud for fear of validating them). Needless to say, John is devastated.

Not understanding why John has suddenly become so withdrawn, Sherlock turns to Mycroft for their version of helpful advice - banter and deduction. After all, who better to turn to then the man who married a reproductive machine?

Sherlock burned his hands/arms pulling John out of the bonfire and covered them up instead of treating them (too preoccupied with the case). Later, John notices and helps treat them.

Gen or shippy is fine.

Even though John's not supposed to have his gun, I imagine he's fairly responsible about it and therefore goes to practice at a range once in awhile to make sure he'll hit what he's aiming at. I just googled 'gun range targets' and quite a few are vaguely shaped like people, and have a scoring system based on what would do the most damage.

Now, it's hard to tell where exactly Sherlock got hit, but it's definitely a 'high score' for most of those targets.

So, what if John goes to practice, sees his target, and realizes that Mary wasn't 'performing surgery'. She didn't kill Sherlock then and there, but she didn't spare him either. Up to you what happens next but I'd love it/prefer it if Sherlock hadn't figured it out (yet).

Preferably Johnlock but not necessary. No Sherlock/John/Mary though, if possible. Thanks in advance :)

I just watched the thing with Mark Gatiss and can't get that out of my head. Sherlock is sleuthing Ratty and John is Mole. Lestrade is Badger. Any rating is possible.

If you don't mind Sherlock/Lestrade, I did write a fic where Mrs Hudson tells their child a bedtime story which is basically the crossover you've described.

Laura of the The Empty Hearse group may not have been right about Sherlock faking his death to escape John and presumably elope with Jim, but she was more on the right lines than anyone ever realised.

The kiss happens as we saw and they end up having sex on the rooftop. It's a case of 'you annoy me so much sometimes but damn it, you're interesting', with Sherlock all frustrated and Jim delighted at his unexpected luck. Bottom!Jim, pretty please.

Some of the characters (both Holmes brothers, plus anyone else author wants to include) are captured and being held prisoner. Escape is practically impossible, but Sherlock and company try anyway.

The kidnappers have given them two rules:
1) If anyone, excluding Mycroft, attempts to escape or acts out in any way, Mycroft gets punished for it.
2) If Mycroft attempts to escape or acts out in any way, everyone else gets punished for it.

Mycroft is the only person that has been told these rules, and if he tells anyone else of them, someone will be killed. Now, the rules wouldn't be that bad, except that Sherlock sure does like his escape plans...

Bonus if Mycroft manages to hide it all, until someone starts noticing his deteriorating health.

Little!Sherlock is afraid of thunder. Mummy Holmes gets scared that she can't find her boy, and sends Mycroft looking for him.

Mycroft finds Sherlock hiding in the closet in his personal office. Comfort and cuddles ensue.
