Recommendations for fics that have already dealt with this welcome!

Sherlock and John are kidnapped and held together for at least a few days, a week or two. Up to filler what exactly happens, but I want some serious Sherlock whump - either by the kidnapper or (and) by John, who is forced by their captives to hurt Sherlock and to take care of him afterwards.

When Sherlock and John are found and rescued, Sherlock can't stand being away from John for a moment - he has a panic attack when he is taken in a separate ambulance, he only wants John to treat him and refuses any other medical help, etc

I'd really love a fic that dealt with Sherlock having to get over this, but even something very short with some scenes of Sherlock refusing treatment by anyone else but John would be amazing. :)

(Bonus points for involving Sherlock non-con, either by the kidnappers or Fuck or Die with John.
Further bonus points for self-loathing/guilty John, and/or John getting annoyed with Sherlock's inability to deal with anyone else -before feeling guilty about that)

Bit of a weird prompt

Jim kidnaps Mary, but while he's got her locked up, her water breaks.
Jim freaks out - he has no idea how to deal with birth - so he does the only logical thing he can: kidnap Molly to help Mary give birth.
Molly can't manage on her own, however, and if Jim doesn't want to risk loosing Mary or the baby Watson, he's got to get his hands dirty and help her out...if Mary will trust him enough to let him close to her.

Would like to see so-fucking-far-out-of-his-element Jim being ordered around by Molly as she's trying to talk Mary through giving birth.

Bonus points for Jim bossing his underlings around to fetch things.

EXTRA bonus points if John and Sherlock arrive near the end and break down the door only to get swept into the middle of 'help Mary give birth' and entirely forget about arresting Jim.

Mycroft Holmes is the most powerful crime boss in all of London (or Britain) and is constantly waging political war against James Moriarty. Then Jim takes it too far and targets Mycroft's younger brother Sherlock, Sherlock is injured and kidnapped by Jim's right hand man Sebastin Moran. Now being held hostage by Moriarty, Sherlock is left in the care of a young doctor, John Watson. As Sherlock convelesces and plans his escape, he soon decides that he likes John Watson, and so he's going to steal him! XD

Or Mafiaboss!Mycroft's brother Sherlock is injured and kidnapped by his rival Jim Moriarty, and while Mycroft races to find a way to steal him back. Sherlock makes his own plans, including kidnapping Moriarty's Doctor: John Watson.

Can be a 5 + 1 thing, but doesn't have to be. I'd love to see an exploration of the frustration the character (and her partner) experiences, followed by eventually getting it right.

The kind of world where people have the names of their soulmates written on their bodies. yes yes I know another one.

Greg found his soulmate when he was a child. Extremely lucky, everyone said. Yet when they were teenagers, she went on holiday with her family and drowned in the ocean. Greg burned or somehow defaced her name so it couldn't be read and never spoke of her again.

Sherlock had never been lucky. The name on his skin was achingly common, and he’d met a number of Gregorys over his lifetime. None of them were right. He resigned himself that he’d probably never find his soulmate, kept the name hidden and never talked about ‘Gregory’ again.

Six years after DI Lestrade helped give him a life worth living, Sherlock learns his first name.

All Sherlock wanted to do was go over to see his best friend, and rant about the stupidity of the human race for a couple of hours in peace. Instead John is called to the Locum to help out with a stupid emergency, leaving Sherlock and Mary at the flat. Bored Sherlock agrees to accompany Mary to the shops for some things for dinner, via The Tube. Then all hell breaks loose, as twin explosions go off in the front and rear of the train, and the tunnel collapses, leaving the train trapped between two walls of rubble. Then, just to make Sherlock's day complete: Mary goes into labor.

Luckily Sherlock's phone is still working, so he can call John and ask him what the heck he's supposed to do!


Or: Sherlock's visits the Watsons, but John gets called away to the clinic. Sherlock agrees to go shopping with Mary. There is an Explosion in the Subway tunnels, trapping the train. Mary goes into labor, and John has to talk Sherlock through delivering the baby, via Mobile Phone.

I was interested by the whole "You were enjoying this!" passage with Mycroft, because it suggested that while Sherlock has a certain amount of resilience, being tortured in front of somebody else, especially somebody who knows him, really upsets him.

Which now makes me kinda wish for fics where Sherlock is raped or tortured before John and/or Lestrade and is forced to keep his eyes on them during the whole process...and has to be comforted and reassured that he is no less in theirs afterwards

So, I'm sure that we've all been to that one restaurant with the waiter that bends over backwards to make sure that the patrons are happy, only to have them totally berate and abuse him anyhow.

Sherlock is a waiter at a family-friendly restaurant (think Friendly's or something) and all of the customers love him. Yes, they actually love him. The kids like to hear him make his deductions, and the parents love his quick wit and inexplicable charm.

He's married to John, an ex-soldier, who is well-respected in the community. Every Friday night, John comes in for dinner and is seated at Sherlock's best table. But something is different about tonight. Although Sherlock isn't normally very upfront with his emotions, John can clearly see that he is... well, off.

As it turns out, a new family has come into the restaurant and has been making Sherlock's night miserable - even going so far as to call him names. And John refuses to stand by and allow his husband to be abused any longer.

Comforting Johnlock sex is welcome at the end, but not required.

BBC!Verse compliant! Pre-series! Parody!

After Army Sniper Colonel Sebastian Moran is invalidated home with an injured arm, after being captured, and brutally tortured in Afghanistan. He soon looses all zeal for life, becoming a broken shell of his former self. Whiling his days away in a cheap bedsit, drinking, and gambling away his Army Pension. Ignoring the blog that his Therapist wants him to write.

Then, by complete chance, he happens to meet up with an old childhood friend, Mike Stamford. After catching up, and mentioning he was thinking about a possible flat-share, Mike tells him he may just know someone willing to take him up on the offer. Following his friend to the TI department at St. Barts, Stamford introduces him to James "Jim" Moriarty, a quirky but brilliant young professor, who borrows Moran's mobile to send a text, and then deduces his whole back story in less than two minutes. Astounding the former sniper, and then leaving him just a quickly to "peek in on a friend in the mortuary" calling out the address of the flat, and his name with a saucy wink. It was at that point that Moran wondered just what he was getting himself into...

Or Before John Watson met Sherlock Holmes, Mike Stamford had a hand in pairing up another infamous Duo: Sebastian Moran and James Moriarty.

Through a series of events that mirror those of John Watson's, Moran meets Moriarty, and becomes his assistant. blogging about their trials, and tribulations, as they fight against corrupt government officials, crooked cops, and Jim's arch-nemesis "Sigerson", and his companion "The Doctor".

I have never read A Study In Emerald by Neil Gaiman. But the idea of a parallel between John and Seb and their Sociopath/Psychopath first meeting was too good to pass up. My idea was a bit different than his. Where he simply had Moran and Moriarty assuming Holmes and Watson's places, I would actually prefer that Jim and Seb still be criminals, and Seb just be telling the story in a way that makes everything Jim does sound righteous and brilliant.

Idk, as always go nuts, Slash or Gen is fine.

+ for Sebastien and John both meeting up with Mike for coffee/beers and knowing who the other is, but just sitting there silently, and sniping comments and insults back and forth at each other when ever Mike is distracted.

Despite Mycroft's experience, Sherlock has the upper hand when their first sexual encounter occurs. Through a combination of deduction and outright spying, he's been fully aware of exactly what Mycroft has been getting up to in bed all these years, including all the things that he responds to. Because Sherlock is completely inexperienced, Mycroft has almost no equivalent knowledge about him -- yet.

Give me Sherlock thoroughly exploiting his knowledge of Mycroft's sexual weak spots while Mycroft struggles to maintain his composure as the 'experienced one'.
