Doing something for John

So in Johns blog, one of the comments left is by Sherlock saying how he went shopping and bought some beer for John.

I thought this was rather...sweet.

So, I'd like to see a fic where, John is injured and gets rightfully upset that Sherlock is complaining about shopping. Here's John, injured helping Sherlock and he's complaining about going to the Tesco of all things?

So, Sherlock sees how upset John really is, realizes how upset he himself is over John's injury and does the shopping. After that he see that doing something as "simple" as shopping is not something you use against a person, and now he has no issue shopping and even does such things as buy Johns favourite brand of biscuits and beer every once in a while.

Crossdressing, Sherlock and Irene

After noticing his fascination with her wardrobe, Irene dresses Sherlock up in her pretty clothes. He loves it.

It doesn't matter to me whether or not they're romantically/sexually involved. I'd just like to see Sherlock learning how to put together a woman's outfit.

(Because, honestly, Irene has a gorgeous wardrobe and she looks like she has fun deciding what to wear.)

After Sherlock saves Irene, the two finally have dinner. She suggests it, he (to her surprise) agrees.

Except Sherlock seems to think Irene meant actual food would be involved, but she can work with that. There's plenty of time for another kind of hunger later.

The two go to a nice restaurant, and Irene tries to get to know him better, asking all sorts of intimate questions about his past and preferences; he ends up ignoring or dismissing all her inquiries and turning the conversation to something case related; he also seems to mention John an awful lot - more than she would have imagined, really, even with their friendship.

After dinner, she's ready to bring Sherlock to a hotel and have her way with him, but Sherlock says his goodbyes, and tells her to kindly lose his number. She's a bit baffled as to why exactly he came on the 'date' in the first place, and asks, to which Sherlock replies, "So you would stop asking."

We all know Jeanette broke up with John saying"Don't make me compete with Sherlock Holmes", but we don't know that's the exact reason why Mrs Lestrade want a divorce (or keep sleeping around), because she knows she's losing in this competition

Mycroft h/c please; tw: serious illness

Mycroft has a serious long term illness (perhaps cancer?) and has to go into hospital regularly for treatment (as well as not letting it get in the way of his work) but the nurses all notice that there's never anyone with him and Mycroft has to go through everything alone.

John has a friend who works in the department Mycroft is seen by (oncology?) and sees Mycroft when he comes to visit the friend.

Non-incesty brotherly love and possible Mycroft / John or Mystrade please as they help Mycroft to cope.

On a previous part (can't remember which) there's a piece told from Lestrade's perspective in which Mycroft leaves him for Harold Saxon.

Which somehow led to my brain going, "And then Ianto and Lestrade meet up during the Year That Never Was and bond over their lost lovers!"

So I'm not too particular about the whys and hows of this, don't care if it's slash or gen (although I would fully support slash), I just want Ianto and Lestrade during the Year That Never Was.

However, Molly doesn't know this, she just knows that a guy got hit by a cab and has what appears to be a lot of creepy surveillance footage of her walking around on the street.

Sherlock is a Natural Blonde

This clever Anon has deduced something!

Sherlock Holmes, BBC version at least, is a natural blonde. Well Benedict Cumberbatch is... But this isn't about him. It's about Sherlock.

Lets look at the evidence. Pale complexion, light eyes, fair hair sticking from every other orifice besides his skull and eyebrows (and we have seen him shirtless in A Scandal in Belgravia and chest hair tells us fair hair beneath! _{Although I get the idea that's not what other people were looking at...})

TL;DR - Sherlock dyed his hair at a young age. Said he could not live with the stereotypical responses attributed to being blonde. Watson is offended. He is also a natural blonde.

This can be a cracky fic... actually I can't see any other way of approaching it... it can be sexy or amusing. Both would be lovely.

My greatest wish is that my two great loves, Sherlock and Rupaul's Drag Race, will someday meet in a gloriously cracktastic crossover. Maybe Sherlock and Ru go way back, or maybe she shows up during a case, or maybe she helps Sherlock with his female disguise skills. Anything. Fancy dress!

For some reason (case-related undercover work? Molly throwing a party?), John and Sherlock have to visit a fancy dress shop and pick out costumes to wear to a party. John catches Sherlock trying to hide wistful glances at a pirate costume whilst he stalks around the shop criticising the verisimilitude of all the outfits and the pointless stupidity of escapism...

Obviously, it's up to John to prove to Sherlock precisely how much fun it is to give in to a little fantasy and childishness once in a while!

(As a bit of an alternative, I could also see them ending up heading back to the flat to build an even better pirate costume for Sherlock out of his own wardrobe and belongings XD)

(Perhaps a small part of Mycroft's job involves the Doctor's current and former companions. Perhaps Sherlock ran into the Doctor while on a case... I don't know.)

John lets it slip that he knows little!Sherlock wanted to be a pirate. Sherlock expects him to say "Me too" because of Afghanistan John's love of danger, excitement, less-than-legal situation involving firearms, etc.

Instead of which, John goes on saying "Funny, Greg was saying just the same two nights ago. Had a pint too much and kept babbling about him wanting to run away to sea as a kid and burying secret treasures in his Gran's garden. Me, I wanted to play in a circus orchestra. "

Irene's injection brings Sherlock's cravings to an unbearable level, and he relapses. This is part of why John's so angry with Irene - he has to get Sherlock through withdrawal.

(Because injecting an ex-addict with drugs seems like a very nasty trick.)

Irene meets Jack Harkness. I mean, come on, they'd love each other.

Anyway, they, for example, re-create Torchwood together. Or, she flees from the Earth and they both work as Time Agents (oh, maybe Jack's the one who trains her?). Either way, they begin BAMFing their way through the universe using their ass-kicking sillks, brains (...well, that'd be more Irene xD) and their powers of seduction combined.

No Irene/Jack, please. Irene/Kate + Jack/Ianto = BFFs very welcome (feel free to revive Ianto/make it AU in which he never died, or whatever).

I'd like to see something a la Burke and Hare but set in BBC-verse, Molly and Mycroft as body thieves, loading up the plane. maybe Molly is just the supplier and has no idea where they go, or maybe she and Mycroft are out together, sneaking bodies from the morgue...

(I'm not posting this prompt because I hate Molly. In fact, I love Molly. A lot. I'm also a sucker for angst, for Sherlock Not Being A Douche, despite how rare it occurs, and for people coming to the rescue, only to show up Just In The Nick of Time.)

So, there's this song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=chF244LWWqg) sung by Nick Cave and Kylie Minogue called "Where the Wild Roses Grow". (Note, it's a murder ballad, and the video has some (IMO) disturbing imagery because of this. I'm not sure if it would be triggery to some people, but there is that possibility).

Anyway, there's a serial killer on the loose, preying on "beautiful" women. Or, at least, that's what it seems like- they're all made-up, all dressed very beautifully, all "glammed" as it were. Well, as much as it can be told from their faces being smashed in with a rock/bat/etc.

A little more investigating turns up that all the women, while still very pretty, were not considered "beautiful" by conventional standards.

And, Molly is the next target.

I don't mind S/J, though honestly I'd prefer the same kind of [br/r]omance as in the show, and while I don't mind Molly/Lestrade, I also have a soft spot for Dimmock/Molly.

Also, Sally and Anderson being included would make my day. :)

tl;dr: Molly's the next target of the "Wild Rose" killer, Sherlock deduces and saves her life.

(Suicidal trigger bonus: Molly realizes she's the next target, but doesn't/can't bring herself to care. Because, seriously, being around Sherlock Bloody Holmes and finding out your ex-boyfriend was, well, Moriarty has got to mess with a person's self-esteem some.)

Moriarty does something to make Sherlock lose his voice. Permanently.

Sherlock reacts pretty badly at first, but after a bit he and John are using sign language to discuss things without the police understanding them, John translates Sherlock's deductions for Lestrade when necessary, etc. Basically Sherlock letting nothing stop him from being Sherlock and John being awesome.

Bonus points if Lestrade/Mycroft/other characters either already know sign language or start learning it immediately
