Please refrain from hijacking a prompt. Hijacking may be defined as responding to a prompt by taking a portion of it and adding your own ideas about what should be added, changed or eliminated. In addition, commenting with off topic jokes or chatter.

By hijacking, the focus of the prompt can be lost, and inappropriate threads created. By doing this fillers may be discouraged which is something no one wants to experience.

Warnings for mental illness and criminal behavior

One of the fans of John's blog refuses to accept Sherlock's 'death' after Reichenbach. S/he continually harasses John with theories and 'sightings' and obsessively stalks him, convinced that he's hiding Sherlock somewhere or knows where he is. When John tries to explain that it isn't a hoax or some kind of conspiracy, they kidnap him with the belief that either John will give up information, or Sherlock will come save his friend if he's in danger.

Bonus points if the fan mixes the line between fiction and reality, and tries to force John to 'fix his story' and bring Sherlock back.

Extra bonus points if John really believes Sherlock is dead, and the harassment/kidnapping plays hell on his grief and emotional state.

The true effects....

Not only was Sherlock wrong about it being the sugar, he was wrong about how John would react.

His "do you see it?" the taped dog noises, none of it works on John. John has a very severe reaction(he was drenched in the stuff when he walked in the "get a cold" room) to the gas. He has a complete breakdown and begins to injure himself trying to "escape".

Whether John is trapped in the war, or something that is dark(abuse or the like) from his past comes back to haunt him is completely up to the filler.

Sherlock, as he runs towards John, tries to access his "mind palace" so he can remember everything about John, about how to comfort someone.

Sherlock is able to comfort John, to release him from his nightmare but it takes time. He also bandages John's self-inflicted wounds in their "double bed" room afterwards and tries to apologize.

Due to sheep/flooding/aliens on the train line between Taunton and Castle Cary, when John and Sherlock come back from Dartmoor they have to spend the night in Exeter. In a B&B. Bonus points if they only have a double room and this turns into everyone's favourite sharing-a-bed trope.

John thought he was the only one like him. The only one whom the full moon changed, into a huge animal that nothing short of silver harmed. He just thanked his lucky stars that he remained mostly in control of this creature. He managed to hide it by avoiding the full moon, or avoiding other people on it.

He thought he was the only one. Then he and Sherlock met Henry.

SECONDED. Every werewolf fic I've seen takes place in an AU where werewolves etc are fully known and there's laws/whatever about them.
I'd love to see a scenario where no-one else knows about them.

A reversal on the "Oh you're close so OBVIOUSLY you must be gay and isn't it wonderful? You're so sweet together!" thing.
John has gotten bored with denying he and Sherlock are a couple so he's just started ignoring it like Sherlock does.
Then one day he and Sherlock go somewhere and someone makes the usual assumption that they're a couple based on seemingly nothing at all. Only this person/people start abusing/harrassing them for it. For this, John (and Sherlock) WILL. NOT. STAND.

Yeah, he gets upset with Sherlock for like 45 seconds.

But after that he seems mostly amused that Sherlock was wrong about thinking the sugar had been drugged. Like "You thought you drugged me, but you really didn't. You were wrong. Hahaha. Now I'm gonna tease you about this forever."

So I'd really like some times where Sherlock experiments on John and the results actually turn out to be in John's favor.

Lestrade's first name isn't Greg. It's something much weirder. Sherlock knows this, and it's why he uses Lestrade in public. But he hadn't realised that Lestrade had given John his middle name.

Sherlock is completely asexual and thus finds the situation disturbing, perhaps even frightening. He HATES not being in control of himself like this.

By the power of awesome John is somehow able to get them though and fix it without sex happening.

John first noticed Sherlock doing it when he had dropped a test tube underneath the couch. After blindly grabbing for it for a minute, he had tossed a carrot underneath the couch and waited until Redchime ran after it to continue the search.

“…Are you using the rabbit as a flashlight?”

“It’s efficient.”

That became his go-to excuse for it. Turning on the lights when he wanted a late night cup of tea was too much work, so he’d just walk around with the rabbit under his arm. He’d position the cage by his chair when he wanted to read and balance the hutch on the toilet when he turned the loo into a darkroom and tried to develop film in the tub.

John declared it too much when he found Sherlock updating his website in the dark, rabbit balanced on his head.

“It’s bad for your eyes. Do I need to send Redchime back to Kirsty?”

“He is a gift from a client; I do not wish to be rude.”

“When has that ever stopped you before?”

Of course, John ended up eating his words during the next week’s storm and subsequent power outage. Sometimes a glowing rabbit was just useful.

So I guess I ate cheese too close to bedtime after rewatching ASIB, because I had this hilarious dream last night, in which Sherlock attempted to give sex with a woman the old college try.

In midstream, however, he abruptly got up, grabbed the sheet off the bed and went into the living room to rant talk to John because he couldn't figure out female orgasms or something.

At first John wasn't paying attention and he was all "Well who can, really?" and then it sank in.

John: She's still in there, isn't she?

Sherlock: *pauses* Possibly not for long.

AND THEN THE ROOFERS WORKING NEXT DOOR ARRIVED AT 7 AM AND WOKE ME UP WITH ALL THE HAMMERING. So please, kink meme. Tell me what happened next. Smutty? Funny? (Oh God, was it Molly?) Have at it.

Crime AU -- Mycroft is the leader of a ring of thieves; Sherlock is the younger brother who's a brilliant thief and social engineer but who can't be bothered with the effort that goes into a theft, most of the time; John is the worn down ex-soldier whose life Sherlock saved and who Sherlock thought might come in useful...

Bonus if Mycroft's crime ring targets enemies of the crown, like a vigilante robbery thing.
