Please refrain from hijacking a prompt. Hijacking may be defined as responding to a prompt by taking a portion of it and adding your own ideas about what should be added, changed or eliminated. In addition, commenting with off topic jokes or chatter.

By hijacking, the focus of the prompt can be lost, and inappropriate threads created. By doing this fillers may be discouraged which is something no one wants to experience.

Yelling compliments at John becomes Sherlock's way of saying sorry

Sherlock’s ‘yell compliments at John’ thing worked reasonably well, so he decides to do it again: any time John gets exceptionally upset with him.

Crime scene? Sherlock completely disregards whoever is around and talks loudly about John’s best qualities.

Mycroft’s over? Who cares. Middle of a restaurant? No problem.

Bonus if at some point you slip him calling John ‘cute’ in, as in character as you can make it. (Not shipping even, just stating the obvious.)

Sherlock thinks it’s amusing when John ‘pulls rank’. Not because he isn’t capable of leading or being dangerous, but because he knows John would do just about anything asked of him, often without question; he doesn't take him seriously knowing this. He’s seen John do what others ask too, and believes John more of a follower than a leader, but won’t say anything to John about it; he knows John likes to pretend. For him, it’s a matter of pride.

Yes! This prompt exactly. I second it.

I know John's pulling rank has inspired a lot of dominating John prompts (and yeah, okay, that's kind of hot) but from his "I haven't pulled rank in a long time" (wonder why?) line to his less than enthusiastic, slightly sarcastic sounding "Oh yeah" in response to Sherlock asking if he enjoyed it, I kind of got the feeling that maybe John doesn't really enjoy pulling rank all that much. That's probably just me though.

But Sherlock is definitely amused by it regardless.

People keep thinking they're a couple and John runs out of variations of the sentence "I'm not his date", which is increasingly frustrating to him. So in that hotel when they tell him there is no double room, he just goes like "No worries, we might need a bit of distance anyway.". Cue everybody thinking they're having relationship problems and trying to get them "back together". Suddenly there is a double room available, candelight dinners are served and everybody goes out of their way to set up a romantic atmosphere somehow. John doesn't know whether to laugh or cry and Sherlock is too distracted by the case to notice.

I'd love a happy ending where they realise their feelings for each other but really, I just want to read about awkward "romantic" situations and their reaction.

Then I suddenly thought, what if it was John who kept on talking instead. He kept on talking about his day, how busy it was at work or how the lines for the Chip-and-PIN machine were so long at Tesco, or how his night out with Stamford turned out. Then Mrs. Hudson would lightly tap him on the shoulder, making John snap out of his daze.

“Oh, hello Mrs. Hudson. Where’s Sherlock? I was just talking to him.”

“John, it hurts me to see you like this. Please understand. Sherlock is no longer with us.”

I loved the way Lestrade kept patting or squeezing Henry's shoulder in the last scene.^^

So let's say the reason why we don't see him in the last scene is that he's back at the inn yet. He took Henry home the night before and stayed to provide some comfort.

I'm not thinking slash here, rather paternal!Lestrade because poor Henry clearly thirsted for a father figure these twenty years. But if you want to make it more squinty, that's all right.

John/Sherlock, drugging a former army doctor

Drugging John to see if he can see the hound turns out to be a terrible idea -not only does he not see it, but he starts hallucinating about the war and his dead fellow soldiers. Sherlock sees John crying, shaking, shouting in the room and feels very, very guilty. While in the end Sherlock is relieved that the sugar had nothing to do with the drug he still feels bad, especially with John staring at him in the most heartbreaking way.
Cue Hurt/Comfort and a bit of angst.

My inner Mystrade shipper tells me that this is exactly why Lestrade's been sticking around Sherlock. Of course he cares about Sherlock and he believes Sherlock has the potential to be a really good man, but AT FIRST... It was just the desepration to keep his conenection to Mycroft that convinced him to stay patient with Sherlock.

5+ years down the road, he knows now that he's just his brother's handler to Mycroft, but he still can't refuse Mycroft' requests.

I'd give you cyber-labdances and my first-born for a happy ending! Thanks!

Mycroft and John have to work together on a case for some reason (maybe Sherlock is at the hospital or in another country IDK). But working together is hard for the two, John keep expecting Mycroft to act like Sherlock and Mycroft isn't used to have to be alongside someone so much (most of the time he communicate by phone or doesn't have to communicate at all because Anthea like to talk as much as he does). Even if they're not on the same page at all, they still manage to understand each other better and form a friendship while investigating.

The look on John's face when he was in the cage in the lab...he was so resigned to what was happening. I think the second he 'saw' the hound...it saw him too. In that moment, John knew he was going to die. He knew Sherlock wasn't going to save him.
I'd like to see John's delayed trauma to that - because knowing without a shadow of a doubt that you're about to die, and then surviving? Seriously fucks with your head.

Because of a case, Sherlock attends a fair few photoshoots and/or runway shows for a very high-end designer, and ends up attracting quite a bit of attention from the male models there. Cue a string of one-night stands with several very pretty guys, and John getting very jealous.

If the filler could manage to get John and Sherlock together in the end, I will make you tea for eternity.

So. Remember when Lestrade reacts to Gary's "just a joke" in Hounds?

"Yeah, hilarious. Nearly driven a man out of his mind."

I loved his quiet anger there. So can I have a scene where they're talking about the case and Sherlock alludes to the cage episode as some sort of anecdote? Lestrade asks for details, very quietly, though John tries to change the subject.

And when he has them, turns to Sherlock and lets him know exactly what he thinks of such experiments. Not to crush or humiliate him, but because if John can't say "Go off and apologize" when it comes to himself, someone else should do it for him.
