It used to be up on Tumblr somewhere that this part was deleted from HLV script. Where Sherlock asked why was Magnussen in his flat if he didn't have any intention of negotiating with the letters and Magnussen said he was interested in Sherlock. "I've never had a detective before" was exactly what he said before Magnussen left leaving both John and Sherlock squicked out.

So...how about instead of Sherlock handing over his brother to Magnussen as a Christmas present, Sherlock hands himself over to Magnussen instead. So Magnussen finally gets to have his own little detective. Prefer no happy endings.

. . . and if that means seducing the {headmaster of Sherlock's school | DI who took Sherlock in for a drug bust | etc.} and then blackmailing him about it - including video proof - well then, what's a big brother to do? If the man calls Mycroft's bluff and makes the video public, Mycroft's burgeoning political career will be ruined, but it's worth the risk to keep Sherlock safe.

(Up to you whether the person Mycroft seduces is Lestrade or someone else, and whether he's doing it after-the-fact to cover up Sherlock's mistakes or as a creepy preemptive strike so he can keep Sherlock more firmly under surveillance and under wraps . . .)

Burn Notice Crossover-- Florida

When Sherlock was in Florida helping Mrs Hudson, he ran into Michael Weston & co. Maybe they get along, maybe they don't. Either way, Sherlock and Michael have to work together to find Mr Hudson and turn him into the authorities.
Would prefer for them to have at least a grudging respect for one another by the end, maybe with a promise to help each other out if one of them needs it.

How about an 'Annie' AU?

Mycroft as Mr. Warbucks.
Anthea as Ms. Farrell, Mr. Warbucks' secretary.
Anyone could be the girl they adopt, an OC or one of the characters as a kid (doesn't necessary have to be a girl, despite the fact that Annie was, or you could make one of the male characters fem! if you want to).
I just want to see Mycroft taking in an orphan for a week and ending up getting too attached to let her go.

Bonus- If you end up following the basic plot of the movie (the 1982 version), including the time period it was set in.
Completely open to gender changes and mpreg, but please don't make the 'orphan' Mycroft takes in turn out to be related to him.

Harry Holmes

Is anyone interested in writing a fanfiction where Harry Potter is adopted into the Holmes family and becomes Sherlock and Mycroft's younger brother (maybe the Holmes are distant relatives of Lily's and they find out the Dursleys aren't taking proper care of Harry)? I want to see how Harry influences Mycroft and Sherlock and their relationship with each other. I also want to see Harry's response to the magical world given a happy upbringing and two intelligent brothers who've taught him the ways of deduction.

I'd love to read a fic where Harry has the mind of Sherlock Holmes. Not looking for a crossover, just how the story would change if Harry was a brilliant "high functioning sociopath," easily bored, manipulative, entirely lacking in social graces, and adventurous. He doesn't see himself as a hero, but he's on the side of the angels.

Could you clarify, please? I'm going to assume from the prompt right above this one that you mean Harry Potter, but it could also be interpreted as Harry Watson (which could be interesting; no wonder John's not fazed by Sherlock), or Harry from Buckingham Palace in "Scandal in Belgravia," or Harry Dresden, or Harry and the Hendersons.

Also, you may want to post this prompt to the Harry Potter prompt meme, and read, if you haven't already, the fanfic "Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality," where Petunia Evans marries a scientist instead of Vernon Dursley, and how that changes the HP-verse. It's not my thing, but sounds like it would be yours.

I'm still mildly annoyed that we never saw Sherlock and Sally interact in S3- I like to think that Sally would stand by her actions in Reichenbach, but feel sorry for the outcome, while Sherlock would acknowledge that she is actually a decent cop. I dunno, I just wanted some kind of reconciliation for these two, and that's where this idea came from.

Someone at Scotland Yard is getting married, and Sherlock and John are among the attendees. Sherlock is in love with John, has been for ages now, but it would appear that the feelings are unrequited (whether or not Sherlock is wrong about this is up to you). Throughout the reception, Sherlock sees John dancing with other women- Mary, a female detective, whoever- and sticks to the sidelines. However much he loves it, there's not much of a point in dancing alone.

Enter Donovan, who is also among the wedding guests. She has an idea of what's going on between those two, and picks up on Sherlock's general misery at the reception. She offers to dance with him. No ulterior motives- she's honestly just trying to help. After some initial bickering, Sherlock accepts.

They don't have to become BFFs by the end of the night, and I'm certainly not looking for anything romantic between them. Just a brief moment where they agree to a truce and are actually decent to one another.

I'd like to second this... except that I'm more in favor of a a truce that leads to a slow-building relationship between them. I'm a bit tired of the "Sherlock pining for John" theme and wouldn't mind seeing something where John's engagement/marriage causes Sherlock to move on - for real, and not just because of a case (i.e., Janine). To me it would be interesting to see a story where just as Sherlock is starting to fall into a depression at "losing" John and being left alone again, he finds the spark of something new to give him hope. To have Sally be the one to give him that hope would be a fun twist. And just think of the reactions of those around them... Lestrade, Anderson, etc. Especially John. His jealousy of Janine would pale by comparison, I think.

Grimm crossover

Mycroft and Sherlock are half brothers. Their father is a Royal (retired due to faking own death). Mycroft's mother is a Hexenbiest (she left Mycroft with his father because she didn't want him). Sherlock's mother is a Grimm (retired due to faking own death). Mycroft is a half-Zauberbiest and the Royal of London, Sherlock is a Grimm. Mrs Hudson is a Kehrseite-Schlich-Kennen. Anthea is a Hexenbiest. Lestrade is a fuchsbau (silver-fox, anyone?). Lestrade gives Sherlock cases involving Wesen deaths and, unknown to Sally Donovan, there are a few bodies the Yard have stood around that were put there by Sherlock.

Actual prompt: John Watson doesn't know about the Wesen world until he walks in on Myroft and Sherlock arguing, nothing unusual there, except Mycroft is woged at the time.

-Mycroft and Sean are bros.
-Adalind and Not!Anthea spend a lot of time texting each other about what annoying thing their Royal has asked of them this week.
-Sherlock's Homeless Network is mostly comprised of Wesen Sherlock has helped, and not killed, in the past.
-Sherlock has his own stash of weapons and information, though his are stored away in a separate apartment in London.
-Sherlock often refuses cases from Mycroft because they tend to be assassination cases and Sherlock isn't that type of Grimm when he doesn't have to be.

tl;dr: John Watson doesn't know about the Wesen world until he walks in on Myroft and Sherlock arguing, nothing unusual there, except Mycroft is woged at the time.

I would love to see Molly Hooper as the consulting detective and Sherlock Holmes as her pathologist. I'm not sure if this has been prompted before, but it would be glorious! Especially if Sherlock was in love with her but instead of being mean like him she's just totally oblivious. Cause come on, I can't see Molly being mean even I'd she would be a higher functioning sociopath lol

Sherlock meets the Cyclone

So this has been floating around in my head so I thought I'd prompt. I don't know if anyone watches the new TV show Scorpion but I'd love to see a crossover between it and Sherlock where Sherlock meets the Scorpion team somehow, whether through a case taking either set of them to the other's respective countriesap, or they meet accidentally, or they knew each other before or whatever scenario seems to make sense, really. Mostly, I just want to see Sherlock interacting with a group of people whose brains are just as sharp as his.

Things that would be great to see but not necessary:

-- If it's set in London, the Yard's reactions to the lot of them at once and Lestrade and Gallo discussing all the not listening that happens when their geniuses help and all the laws that get broken in the process.

-- John and Paige commiserating about the trails of working with geniuses and/or getting them to emote and understand other people's emotions about things.

-- Sherlock and Walter playing the deduction game on passers-by and Sherlock teaching Walter to be better at it.

-- Mycroft spending time with them since after all they're people of the decidedly non-goldfish variety and he's not a Normal. They can play games cause really they're all giant kids at heart.

Not picky on the how - I could see Lestrade as the manager or ringmaster, Sherlock as some flashy performer who has to wear tights (acrobat? sword-swallower? magician?) and John as something a lot more physical (lion tamer? clown?). Would love to see where you slot in the rest of the cast. Maybe the circus is bought out by a new owner (Mycroft) who insists his brother be their new star performer?

Ok, this is strangely appealing to me. I want to write it, but I'm not sure when I could get to it, so...other writers, please do pick it up if it calls to you... but OP, I will have one for you sometime. I have half of them casted and am verrrrry interested in who does what, but I am not sure what plot to put the characters in to make it an actual story, rather than just a list of roles and traits. I could write it as a series of character descriptions. And write the actual story later. If that quenches a thirst at least part way?

Where after Molly dumps him Jim Moriarty realizes he's in love with Molly and starts to actively pursue her & when Sherlock finds out he's not happy especially since Jim totally starts to neglect his little game with Sherlock. Whether Sherlock is jealous cause he's in love with Molly but thinks it's a chemical defect would be brilliant. Honestly, I'd prefer if Molly eventually chooses Jim over Sherlock cause he may be a psychopath but at least he treats Molly with affection and because he just loves her with no ulterior motive unlike Sherlock

They've fallen into a routine of having sex after the little re-enactments sherlock does while figuring out a case. Sherlock initiates every time, often while they're still posed as murderer and murderee, mugger and victim, scorned wife and slimy husband, and John's finally pieced it together- either solving the case, or the re enactments of violence, turn Sherlock on. He's beginning to wonder if what they do is normal.

Not that he wants to stop. He's just wondering.

Oh oh oh this reminded me of that fic where John pretends he's a victim and is on the floor and I need to go and read that *right now*...but this is like a continuation of that fic in a way,with John examining it and .llthe promise of more scenarios like that...and I want it so bad seconding to the moon.

John gets too passionate during a bit of rough making out. And suddenly all he sees are images where Sherlock doesn't listen or runs off or uses his body to get ahead of the criminal or whatever. And John feels the uncontrollable desire to fucking claim Sherlock.

John is blinded with emotion and rage and he pretty much picks Sherlock up and throws him down onto the bed, rips the rest of his clothes off and holds Sherlock down and fucks him hard. Violently even. Maybe John even covers up shsrlocks mouth while he holds Sherlock down.

Sherlock was enjoying it in the beginning. But as John gets more into IT, Sherlock grows scared of johns intensity. But Sherlock never protests, never says stop, and he just stops fighting and let's it happen. Following this though, Sherlock develops a fear of angry John. Whenever John gets angry, Sherlock goes all complient. Sherlock gets startled easly. When John gets close, shsrlocks first instinct is to check for exit routes and if John is angry before relaxing.

Sherlock hates what he's become. John is remorseful as well, but Sherlock doesn't want to talk about it because he claims he's fine.
