Sometimes, John has flashbacks during sex. It may or may not include John having witnessed military rape.

Anything can set it off, the way Sherlock is shaking beneath him, the way Sherlock's face is turned away and hidden in the pillows, the sound of Sherlock's voice, the small of Sherlock's back, the contrast between his own hands and Sherlock's skin... or whatever nothing to do with Sherlock.

But the flashbacks happen and John will start to feel furious - that he was helpless, that he couldn't save the victim/s, that he could only stand by and watch, that he didn't speak up. This fury causes John to grip harder, fuck Sherlock ferociously and he only comes down after he orgasms. He's disgusted with himself when he looks at Sherlock's body, the bruises, his hand prints, the tears and crying, the way Sherlock holds his back the next day, the way Sherlock walks, or refuses to sit... But he can't stop.

The first few times, Sherlock doesn't notice or he doesn't mind - rough sex can be fun. And it doesn't happen all the time. But it gets worse and Sherlock is shocked when John doesn't even seem to be there anymore during these episodes. When John doesn't stop when Sherlock asks, Sherlock starts to fight back. Sherlock is strong and skilled, John is in the middle of a flashback and they fight physically.

Sherlock knocks John out and while catching his breath, he notices the room show signs of struggle, there's blood. Sherlock is even more shocked when he reaches down between his legs to feel for damage and finds his fingers are bloodied. For a terrifying moment, Sherlock is actually shell shocked by what happened here and he just CAN'T think right. John's not moving on the floor, there's a head wound, there's bleeding and Sherlock calls Mycroft.

When Mycroft comes, he's with Lestrade, both not knowing what they will see because it's not expected but when they get there, everything is a mess, Sherlock is naked, bleeding, bruised and unresponsive. John is unconscious, half naked, bleeding, on the floor across the room from Sherlock. What the fuck is going on?

Sherlock Holmes is a sex god. As in, an honest-to-goodness immortal deity who has had worshippers and cults evolve around him in the past. Anyone he actually sleeps with ends up focusing SO much on wanting more sex with him that they tend to lose all ability to lead rational lives - they don't eat, drink, socialize, or anything else, all in their quest to stalk Sherlock and fuck him again. So Sherlock gives up sex entirely, makes do with an occasional anonymous quickie with someone who will never find out who he is or why sex is never fulfilling for the rest of their lives, and he focuses on The Work.

Which is why he's so shocked when he *finally* gives in to John's casual advances, they end up in bed, and John's all like "That was great, we should do it again sometime, are you more hungry for Thai or Indian?" Sherlock is torn between trying to solve the mystery (why doesn't John go crazy like the rest of his ex-lovers?) and proving to himself he hasn't lost his touch by giving John the best damn mind-blowing fuck possible.

Possible twist, if you want to make this a longer fic: Jim Moriarty was one of Sherlock's anonymous conquests, many years ago, when Jim was still in school. Sherlock underestimated him, though - Jim has never forgotten that fantastic shag, and he's amassed considerable resources tracking down who (and what) Sherlock really is. And he's determined to get him back.

(I may yet get around to writing this myself someday, but I've got a long list of fics to write first!)

People have always been freaked out by the way Sherlock scrutinizes them, which somtimes leads to unpleasant reactions. He's found that wearing sunglasses makes him feel more comfortable, because people can only see a vague outline of his eyes. He now only takes them off at home/when he's alone, or at particularly intriguing crime scenes.
And then he meets John, who thinks he's being ridiculous once he learns why he wears them.
+++ John first guesses every single eye problem there is before he learns the truth somehow.

John & Sherlock, Sherlock spend the two years recovering from the fall

Sherlock did not spend two years taking down Moriarty's web, MI6 did.
Sherlock was so injured after the fall there might as well not have been a lorry below at all. He spend two years recovering. Maybe he's got permanent injuries, but no severe braindamage and no wheelchair, though he can't run as fast as he used to and I can image he doesn't remember the fall, the 13 scenarios etc, though Mycroft will have told him.

He's remotely mobile and Mycroft's men have given the all clear that the last of Moriarty's web has been taken care of.
John still thought he was dead and is still angry. Only Sherlock is not really physically fit enough to take his attacks.

tl;dr Sherlock is finally recovered from the fall, but he's weaker than he used to be. Now MI6 has finished taking care of Moriarty's web and Sherlock can go back to John.

Mike Stamford introduces him to a friend, Dr. John Watson, a surgeon who moonlights as a bit of an on-site pathologist for NSY and perhaps occasionally busts into a drugden for his worried neighbour, to stave off the boredom.

When John takes Sherlock to a crimescene, both the doctor and NSY are surprised at how convenient it is to have a Sherlock Holmes at said crimescene.
(Maybe they don't know he used to be MI6. After all, "Invalided home from Afghanistan" can only mean military... right? Optional.)

Sherlock gets goaded by someone or other into describing what he would like in his ideal partner, and to his horror eventually realizes that the only person who fits that description is Mycroft.

Up to you whether there’s actual Holmescest or not. Personally, I think it’d be hot as hell if Sherlock kinda just said ‘fuck it’ and went for it and Mycroft was all ‘well this certainly explains why you hate me so much’ and they had I-cannot-even-believe-I’m-doing-this-right-now-but-it’s-still-hot sex.

Reichenbach Reunion, John injures Sherlock pretty badly, TW: PTSD

When Sherlock comes back from the 'dead,' John is understandably upset. But in this scenario, he completely goes off on Sherlock and really hurts him.

Sherlock has just spent the past two years in and out of dangerous situations, even torture, and he's still in a state of physical and mental distress. He has some injuries from recent torture and old trauma as well, and has also developed PTSD.

John, in his anger, injures Sherlock pretty badly. (Just shy of needing hospitalisation but bad enough to put him in severe pain and put him out of commission for a while). Not only that, but he triggers flashbacks in Sherlock.

Sherlock puts up barely any struggle, thinking he deserves the treatment he's receiving at John's hands, but he starts to lose track of where he is and becomes completely terrified.

At some point, John finally manages to stop and assess the situation. Feeling guilty, he cleans Sherlock up and takes care of him, apologising profusely but also occasionally exerting unnecessary force into his treatment and raising his voice, then apologising again when Sherlock flinches and cowers away from him.

I'd like the reunion to occur at John's place of residence rather than a hoity-toity (thanks, Mycroft) restaurant.

Let's face it what he said in elle uk is nothing more than his own headcanon.A very hot and sensual headcanon. Which deserves to be made into a fic. Anyway so here's his steamy prompt:

Sherlock wouldd probably test the latex, if it involved prophylactics, beforehand.

He’d do a little experiment to do with durability, length, girth, and strength. And he would probably take a lot of vitamin supplements to make sure that he could perform, and had had his sleep, and probably not had many cigarettes.

He would probably watch a lot of porn…

He might have to shave areas to fit in with a modern idea of bodily hair. (okay personally, I can do without this bit in the fic though)

Whatever the cause, Sherlock's in a coma and has been for a few days or weeks or whatever so that the chance he wakes up is getting smaller and the docs start getting sceptical... I'd like to see how Mycroft deals (or doesn't deal) with the increasing likelihood that he's going to lose his little brother, one of the few people who's not a goldfish in the fishbowl that is Mycroft's life.
But of course Sherlock wakes up, not to John, but to Mycroft sitting by his bedside. Maybe he's glad to see his big brother too?

Sherlock and Mycroft are brothers...but they weren't born to the Holmes family. When Sherlock was about two and Mycroft was...however old your canon puts him at, they were taken from their first home because it was 'unsuitable'. To the point where their new parents were the ones to give them names. It's why they never interacted with children until they were older.

Sherlock doesn't remember his first parents. He doesn't remember being abused. Sometimes Mycroft resents that...that his brother still acts so effected when he isn't the one burdened by the memory.

Whether Sherlock actually knows they were adopted or not is up to you.

Bonus for having John in the fic in at least some way. Also feel free to explore the meaning of 'the other one'. Honestly, take this any direction you want. Just if you include sexual abuse please don't include anything graphic.

Sherlock wants to be touched, yes, but everytime someone does it sets off a trigger that he has to get out, he brushes John off, panics, flinches, tries to change the subject etc.

How do they get adjusted and come to terms with it where they're both somewhat comfortable? Make it as realistic as possible.

It's not that Sherlock doesn't want to be touched, he just has a panicked reaction to being touched.

Bonus points if you touch on the scenes in the hospital and how Sherlock might relate touch to pain, torture or helplessness after those two years being away.

Johniarty Hate Sex

Ok so I'm not sure if this has been done yet. But here is my thinking.

So. John and Jim periodically get together as a mutual coping method for dealing with everyone's favorite consulting detective. Said coping method is screaming and throwing various objects at each other. Terms are they can't cause any permanent damage (I.e. Jim can't throw knives, etc.) and under no circumstance is Sherlock ever to know (meaning Johm can't tell Sherlock where Jim is and Jim can't... Do whatever it is Jim does). Of course, one day it escalates to much much more and we all get some lovely rough Johniarty hate sex out of it :)

John once again saves Sherlock when Sherlock ran off to catch a murderer and left John behind. When they arrive back at 221b, protective John scolds Sherlock. One thing led to another and they started kissing, and eventually shagging. However, virgin!sherlock is conscious at times that he is having sexual intercourse with his flatmate, that he is surrendering and allowing john to f*ck him. And this made him panic. But as John continues to thrust, Sherlock's thoughts went blank, and he only felt pleasure of the moment. After they are done however, it dawned on him again and panic sets in. Sherlock can't believe that he did such sexual act, he felt dirty and humiliated and ashamed of himself. And what he hated most was the fact that he enjoyed it. And this continues to haunt him. So afterwards,he starts to act awkward in front of john, afraid of being touched by him or any simple physical contact with john. John doesn't understand why. He tried to help Sherlock and be patient at first (like say 1-2 months), but eventually John got fed up with Sherlock. All the angst ensues. If possible, sad ending would be nice (because to end it with happy johnlock is too common and I've read many of that. I want something different)

After (a lengthy description of how) John fucks him, tension is running high in 221b. Sherlock feels vulnerable, betrayed and (both emotionally and physically) hurt. But John still can't tel him the truth because they are constantly under threat.

Sherlock attends a slave auction as part of his quest to bring down Moriarty's network. He's just there to observe and get details on a member of the syndicate, but then he's horrified to see John being brought on stage for sale. Of course, he buys John on the spot (bidding war perhaps with Sherlock panicking over how he's going to get the money). However, when he collect's John, John has a thousand yard stare, is barely responsive, and doesn't recognise Sherlock. Hurt/comfort + John wump.

Side notes:
John can end up there however you like, but I was thinking that maybe he got some inkling that Sherlock was alive, went after him, and then got caught up in something.
