(Need to have seen or know the basic idea of the film rewrote so many time giving up hope not too long/detailed and someone takes an interest.)
One day some people break into St Barts Hospital, Molly’s lab or the morgue specifically for whatever reason; destroy evidence, random, drugs, for Moriarty, Moran, looking for/to hurt Sherlock etc.
Other people panic/freeze, Molly calmly quietly basically says no-one needs to get hurt, bad guys decided someone does, Molly brutally and efficiently takes them out. The story gets out with Molly’s picture in every newspaper and trending on twitter, basically no-one can miss it apart from that it’s declared self-defence and everything comes back to normal.
Not long after some people show up calling her a different name, things escalate from there.

Note: Fuse as much or as little as want be it a cannon divergence from any point or AU were Molly has a couple of kids and married as well.

Bonus (AKA feel free to ignore can’t doubtful all would work together anyway)

Because Mycroft has a bug in the skull and Sherlock is completely aware of it. It's easier to tell Mycroft things through the skull than in person, and Mycroft will always listen to what his little brother talks about when it's to the skull.
Sometimes Sherlock needs to vent and the skull/Mycroft is always there for him... Sometimes Sherlock just wishes him goodnight/morning...
Anything and everything.
John can be surprised at heartfelt monologues and onesided shouting matches.
No, Mycroft does not have a speaker in the skull and he doesn't have to be listening in realtime per se, but he makes time when something has been recorded.

This is a bit of a crack request but I really want to see it happen.

Fat!Lock I'm talking lumbering, wheezy fat!lock, John as his live in doctor because Mycroft is concerned with his health. Fat!Lock eatting powdered dounts while leaning over bodies, and sticks of butter as snacks. Or lard as a drink, up to you. John having to chase everyone because really Fat!lock is having trouble getting his Rascel up to speed.

You know, fat!lock texting John after been gone for hours, because hes stuck three stairs up and just CAN'T go any further without a vat of soda.

Please.

I need this in my life.

What if Molly really didn’t see the physical similarities or the same dress sense, which Tom could have started to copy later if Molly ever talked about Sherlock, because, if she concisely realised or not, personality wise he is nothing like Sherlock, sociable, nice, reliable, stable and just what Sherlock would call dull.

Do whatever, crackish, serious, random number people thought Tom was like Sherlock and one who didn’t, misunderstandings when Molly refers to Tom as completely different to Sherlock until they realise she really doesn’t see it, Molly listing the differences that she noticed someone else listing the similarities that she didn’t etc.

Ok, so short summary: Mary is the bachelorette on a reality tv dating show. Sherlock and John are both bachelors vying for her heart, etc. As is normally the case in these types of shows, the bachelors end up spending more time with each other than with Mary. Eventual OT3 with John, Mary, and Sherlock.

Potential options for storylines!

A: John and Sherlock are basically canon John and Sherlock. They're contestants in order to solve a case. Up to you if they're already together or not

B: John and Sherlock are strangers, both there separately. Sherlock for a case or bc of Mycroft. John bc, why not? He needs somewhere to stay till he figures out what he's doing with his post-Afghanistan life.

Bonus points if Sherlock is completely confused why Mary keeps him around/requests one on one time. Mary: because I like you and I like spending time with people I like. Sherlock: oh.

I want this so so badly, I'll do anything. I'll even write something for you! Also, I make cookies!

Molly if was one of the Slayers who’s abilities were activated by Willow about ten years ago (assuming cannonish timelines for both) would she still act as Mousey Molly so as to be underestimated and over looked? Or would she take no crap from anybody? How would been a Slayer interact with working in the morgue and with Sherlock?

Do whatever just really want to see something with this premise.

Maybe it happens after Sherlock's return, or in a different verse. The thing is, John grows somewhat distant from Sherlock (if it's after Sherlock's return, it's probably quite logical). He spends less and less time together with Sherlock, he has his own hobbies, spends more time with his friends, dates, etc. And he's oblivious of the fact that it really hurts Sherlock. He's jealous, hurt, feels abandoned, unloved. He misses John's attention, John's praise; he misses everything they used to have. They still have cases together, but it's not the same (maybe it's partly imaginary though). Sherlock starts thinking that John has only needed him to provide dangerous situations now and then.

Sadly, the more distant John becomes and the more nights he spends away from home, the more Sherlock realises that he's in love with him. His feelings make him panic, feel empty, and so on, because it's just not like him and he can't deal with it. There's absolutely no evidence that John feels anything even remotely like what Sherlock feels. On the contrary, John has his own life and Sherlock no longer has as much place in it as he did before.

To his own disgust he becomes so desperate that he starts taking absolutely unnecessary risks and getting hurt on purpose, just to have John there with him. And John is there to save him, as a soldier and as a doctor, who at least cares 'somewhat'. And it gives Sherlock his attention and care. After some time it becomes clear to John that it's not a coincidence that Sherlock has been in so much trouble lately, sometimes getting very seriously injured. It's gone too far. Other people also start seeing that something is definitely wrong even by Sherlock's standards.

John confronts him, maybe shouts at him, maybe he also drags him to get tested for drugs, not knowing what else is there so terribly wrong to make Sherlock act like that. John is very worried and is probably a bit too harsh and angry at Sherlock because of being concerned for his life.

It only makes things worse for Sherlock. He's ashamed and disgusted with himself for his own attention-seeking behaviour and for the feelings that John doesn't return. Slowly, but surely, it breaks Sherlock.

I want a lot of heartbreak and angst.

The ending can be good: John learns what exactly is going on. Sherlock's feelings are not as unrequited as he thought. They get together and it has a healing effect on Sherlock, everything's better, even though the whole relationship thing is new to him. But John is there, so it's okay. (I prefer top!John if you want to include any sex scenes)

I also don't mind if the ending is bad, instead: John doesn't know what to do, doesn't know how to deal with Sherlock's self-destruction. It's too much. So, while it's heartbreaking to him, he leaves Sherlock to sink all alone.

+ please, no Mary in this verse, if possible.

Yes!!!!!

It occurs to John (and Sherlock) that Molly and Mary say/said a lot of “Know her for years”, “Fancied a change in scenery and Molly mentioned”, “Used to work in different departments”, “… rival group but always friendly” and so on.

Before working at St Barts in her previous job Molly became friends with Mary, at least as much as possible at that level and kind of work even if allies more often than not.

Note
Molly’s doesn’t have to be an assassin but something else like a Doctor/Surgeon for people in high risk and with high clearance, interrogation expert, specialised in cover-ups etc.

Molly was the one to test Sherlock for drugs (super: Sherlock making some crack about old times in HLV),
The Bond Air plane plan from ASiB was the last plan Molly outlined before ‘retiring’ to St Barts,

>Mycroft has enough (wary) respect for Molly that he’s never tried to get her to spy on Sherlock for him

For whatever nebulous plot reason, John and Sherlock (and/or whatever other characters you want to include) end up going skydiving. John discovers that he loves it. Sherlock . . . not so much. (I'd like to picture Mycroft absolutely hating it but having to do it anyway, maybe?)

Mostly curious how y'all would fill this crack prompt and what you think everyone would do :-)

Bonus if John is all keen to go again and nobody else wants to go with him :-P

Do this however, a crossover, fusion or inspired, but the main point is that Sherlock sees a “Help wanted, normal people need not apply” in a sandwich shop window between been bored enough to see what it means and passing the interview almost by chance gets a job, a surrogate family of interesting people and works out what he wants from life.

What it says on the tin. Sherlock Holmes is not really Sherlock Holmes, he's a sleeper agent for MI6 in deep cover. Once Mycroft "came to power" he was assigned to play Mycroft's brother (including all the 'healthy' sibling rivalry etc) so that he could be used as leverage or whatever while the criminals would really get an MI6 agent. And then Moriarty happened and he was activated.

So recently I was reading 'Broken Homes' by Ben Aaronovitch (coincidently I think if you like Sherlock, you'd like this book series) and there was this brilliant quote;

'When you walk around London it is important to remember that Big Brother may be watching you, or he could be having a piss, or reading the paper, or helping redirect traffic around a car accident or maybe he's just forgotten to turn the bloody thing on.'

I think we can all see where this is going.
I'd love something based on this quote, obviously involving Mycroft. Crack, Fluff, Smut and h/c all good. Preferred pairings are Johnlock, Gen, Mycroft/Anthea (but Mystrade is good too).

Sherlock leaves John's wedding early John doesn't understand why, until Sherlock tells him, that John won't need/love him anymore now he has Mary and the baby. Which causes John to realises the feelings Sherlock's been hiding. John finally see's how Sherlock feels left out and abandoned. So, John buys Sherlock a promise ring, and promises he'll always love him, no matter what and let's Sherlock know there will always be a John and Sherlock.

Sherlock doesn't get periods often. He's on meds because when it comes, it hurts so much, he's almost paralysed in bed.

Then one time, for whatever reason, he lets his period cycle for the first time since meeting john. John never knew Sherlock had troubles until now. Sherlock isn't doing any case, not even looking over them. John gets worried because he's not seen Sherlock consume any food for a few days (before the period starts) already. So john checks up on Sherlock and finds that Sherlock is suffering from cramps that are so bad, he can't actually do anything. The pain isn't just in his uterus. It's like his whole abdomen and worse, it radiates down his legs, making him weak all over and unable to move aside from the uncontrollable trembling due to pain. His head is pounding and if he moves, he gets dizzy and the world spins. He also can't bring himself to eat. All he can do is tough it out.

John is shocked by how terribly affected Sherlock is and tries helping with feeding him, giving massages, meds even. But nothing works or it makes things even more painful. It's so bad, Sherlock starts crying.

Finally, John tries giving Sherlock an orgasm which is hard because Sherlock is still in pain throughout the process and just not in the mood and any movement causes even more pain... But when John succeeds, Sherlock is free from pain long enough to sleep a bit or even have a bite to eat. Until the pain returns.

Basically what the title says, whenever Sherlock get's sad or upset John has a ritual he'll perform to make Sherlock feel better like make him special tea with special biscuits, which Sherlock will have while he and John watch his favourite programme and John strokes his hair. Prompt filler can change or add other things that John does for Sherlock if they'd like.

Sweet.

When John's upset or angry at Sherlock. Sherlock goes to his room and puts on one of John's jumper and tearfully curls himself up and waits for John to love him again. John just thinks that Sherlock goes to his room to sulk and believes that Sherlock doesn't actually even listen to what he says until one day he barges into Sherlock's room and see's the state he's in. John tells Sherlock how he didn't even think Sherlock cared about him let alone listened to him to which Sherlock declares just how much influence and control John has over him. John's touched and 'turned on' by Sherlock's vulnerability. Cue they have hot-sweaty-lovey-dovey-love-making.

John and Sherlock have a baby that Sherlock didn't want. Sherlock loves John more than anything but just can't handle sharing John with the baby and he isn't willing to try either. John is torn between Sherlock and his child and knows he's going to have to choose between them. John decides he needs time to figure out what he's going to choose. Mycroft offers John the option to stay at his house with him while John tries to come to terms with what he's going to do. Sherlock hates the idea of John going to live with Mycroft because he knows something John doesn't (that Mycroft is in love with him)but John decides to accept Mycroft's offer somewhat unwillingly While staying with Mycroft John see's how Mycroft looks after his baby and how he'll even get up in the night to give the baby it's feed to give John a rest. The domestic lifestyle they fall into after some work causes John and Mycroft to form a bond and soon John realises Mycroft's not only in love with him but also his baby. John falls for Mycroft as well but is also in love with Sherlock, Thus he has to decide between Sherlock and Mycroft.

Angst, Hurt and comfort all the way please with a bucket of fluff too if it's going! Oh and any smut is completely your choice.

Sherlock wouldn't look up from his experiment, but John wasn't fooled into thinking he was distracted. Sherlock had avoided looking him in the eyes since the accident, since John had rushed to take Esther from the social worker, had picked through Harry's flat seeking out anything that could make this experience less wrenching than it had to be.

“Our lifestyle isn't conducive to the raising of a child. Jean's sister has already offered to take her.”

“I'm her-” He broke off, unable to articulate the relationship he had with his niece by law and daughter by blood. She was only two weeks old, but she'd already kept Harry sober for over a year, somehow eliciting a love so strong that it had brought John's sister back when nothing else could have. It was a cruel twist of fate that she'd never remember the mother she'd saved.

“You're her uncle, and Katie is her aunt. Genetics aside, there's no reason to prefer you to her.”

“They specifically requested that we raise her.”

For the first time in three days, Sherlock looked straight at him. “No.”

John is a Dom! and naturally he has a Sub! unfortunately for Sherlock it isn't him. Sherlock is forced to watch as John who should rightfully be his Dom! cares and nurtures someone else. He hears as John has sex with them and has to see how satisfied they are in the morning. All the while Sherlock is miserable knowing it's his fault because he turned John down that one night at Angelo's. Sherlock decides he has to put that mistake right and vows to be the best sub he can be even though he's always fought his nature. John has to be his Dom that other sub be damned.

Sherlock thinks that sex should keep John quiet and happy. He also misses how underwhelmed with their relationship John is. Sherlock doesn't give John what he needs emotionally so John goes and finds it with Lestrade. John can't help but compare how differently they interact with him. Sherlock is sharp and dismissive and Lestrade is warm and tactile. So, John decides he deserves something for himself.

Pick favourite, films, books, TV series etc. Random, Hero, Villian, Male, Female etc. Make them one of Molly’s exes.

(Super Plus)Keep Molly the good guy, things like did tell Tom early on that this might be an issue.

I've read a lot of fics where Sherlock is always manipulating John or using his emotions or predicted reactions against him. So this time I'd love to read a fic where John knowing Sherlock as well as he does knows when Sherlock is trying to manipulate him and turns it back on him and uses his own deductive skills to control Sherlock. For example, John knows Sherlock has a praise kink or likes when John uses his voice or flirts in a certain way and John notices how Sherlock can never say no to him when he utilizes his powers. John can make Sherlock speechless in the middle of blasting the yarders, or can even make Sherlock pleasant to Mycroft or and even stop him from doing messy experiments and shooting the words all by a change of tone, shifting of facial features and tempting body language. Sherlock of course just thinks of John as his poor simple John, but little does he know that it's John that is in control.

Sherlock, John and Mary attend couples therapy because:

John is still angry and hurt though he tries to keep his resentment from Mary and Sherlock. They both still feel and are painfully aware of it. John's feeling for both Sherlock and Mary are beyond complicated i.e his love for Mary is tinged with anger and resentment of nearly taking Sherlock from him again (regardless of what Sherlock says John knows the truth of the shot Mary took) John's love for Sherlock is complicated since it's wrapped in trust issues and abandonment. Both of them in his eyes are liars.

Sherlock is dealing with his own issues of being away and conflicting feelings about Mary, i.e he loves her for saving John, Hates her for marrying John and is fearful of who she is and what she might be capable of (Although he refuses to say, he's still affected by the shooting). In terms of John, Sherlock is hopelessly in love with John and is trying to hide it and it's causing him issues.

Mary loves John and can't understand why he can't forgive her when he forgave Sherlock (Although technically, he himself is still working on that). Mary likes Sherlock as much as you can like someone who's in love with your husband. Mary just wants things to go back to how they were and for everybody to just forget and move on except nobody can.

Would love end-game to be Johnlock and plentiful angsty-feels.

OP, did you want the three of them to stay together in the end? Mary to leave?
I love to write a good argument... it makes me very, very happy. Fantastically fun prompt for evil people like me.

Martin Crieff and Molly Hooper quite literally bump into each other, and discover how similar they actually are. Romance ensues.

Bonus points if Molly stands up for Martin when Sherlock upsets him with one of his deductions.
