A woman of your choice falsely accuses Sherlock of rape. Maybe Kitty Riley is embittered by his treatment of her and claims he assaulted her (I totally got the "scheming liar" vibe from her). Or maybe Moriarty sets him up to smear his name in a particularly deplorable way. Regardless, he's soon under investigation for a crime he didn't commit.

John stands by him every single step of the way. In fact, mostly everyone (except maybe Donovan) stands by him because the idea of Sherlock raping someone is so off-the-wall insane that nobody can really comprehend it, but rape is something that should always be taken seriously, so it's no surprise when the allegation is further looked into.

Bonus points if Sherlock and John are romantically involved and John is brought in for questioning. Double bonus points if it's Lestrade doing the interrogating and has to ask uncomfortable and embarrassingly personal questions about their relationship (has Sherlock ever forced you to do something you didn't want to do, etc). Triple bonus points if, despite everyone's best efforts to be as subtle as possible after the accusation is made, the case goes very public and Sherlock is vilified and he and John are harassed and stalked and threatened--all while trying desperately to clear Sherlock's name so that they can move on with their lives.

If possible I'd prefer a happier ending, which I realize might be a stretch since the subject matter is pretty grim. Also, there doesn't have to be any sex, but if there is, top!Sherlock only, please. Other than that, go wild!

Sherlock as Devdas, John as Paro, Irene as Chandramukhi. There's already an interesting amount of overlap here. Wouldn't have to be a complete adaptation. Any combination of that story with these characters would be utterly heartbreaking.

The creative choices and performances in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's beautiful 2002 film version [ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Devdas_(2002_Hindi_film) ] are the closest to the show's dynamics, I think. Of course John as Paro would be quite different, though equally strong-willed. Doesn't take much to imagine our Sherlock as SRK's Devdas, haha.

Moriarty's Kitchen Nightmare. He wants to send Sherlock a gingerbread man perfectly burnt to a crisp, but he's having a bad day in the kitchen and nothing is working for him.

Hours later, covered in flour and surrounded by failed attempts, he's seriously rethinking the fairy tale thing.

Every time i hear soft cell and or see marc almond i imagine that that was sherlock in his younger days. in particular the song 'Seedy Films' which talks about a long night in porno cinemas. It is not the sexual nature that might resemble young!sherlock but the casual discussion and observations of sleaze and squalor you get from soft cell's music.

even better, if perhaps John or Lestrade come across the video in a drug bust or in a case which involves one of the old venues he used to perform in

Marc Almond has a very lovely voice and if sherlock could sing, i imagine it would be in a similar octave range

Sherlock and John are, respectively, the devil and the angel on some poor soul's shoulder. (Lestrade? Molly? I'm not picky.)

Its small but I hope you like it.

Sally really hates herself sometimes. Its the thought going through her head when she wakes up in Anderson's bed again. Its frustrating because when she steps back from the situation she's knows she's doing the wrong thing but really if the powers that be wanted her to do the right thing then they should have given her a better Angel. Seriously her Angel is the most annoying little freak of a spirit she's ever layed ears on and her stupid devil is damn good at his job too. Everyone has a conscious that's split into two spirits, Devil and Angel and hers are John and Sherlock. They are the epitome of a cosmic joke played on a lowly human such as herself, and the reason she got into this mess again.
"Oh lovely. Having sex with the idiot again," Sherlock had sniped his tone an annoyed sounding drawl. "Be sure to leave your last scrap of brain cells behind too while your at it. Its not like you're using them." He made her angry enough to want to borrow Anderson's Devil to shut him up.
"Sherlock!" John had snapped at him. "Its fine Sally. Things have been stressful and its not like he isn't interested," John said soothingly to her. Anderson looked at her like she was something special. He always look at her like that and it was nice. A small piece of comfort in her life filled with the chaos that comes with being part of the homicide department.
"Yes well I did say he's an idiot. You aren't special. He likely has had several woman dangling from his cock. After all the world is filled with imbeciles." His words had made her feel a bit ill.
"He has not and you know it," John had shouted back. "He genuinely likes her. Just because he doesn't like his wife doesn't mean anything. Besides its been two years. His wife has to know by now. She rarely comes home."
"Because she's smart." Sally had had it will being called an idiot. She had contemplated trying to find someone else until his next comment.
"There is that new bar open down the street," John had suggested which sounded perfect.
"Don't be daft. No one will take you especially since all you're really looking for is a quick toss in the sheets. You'll drink too much and then be so hung over in the morning you won't even remember it. Waste of time really." Anderson had been leaning in close by that point lips brushing against her own.
"Shut up, Sherlock," John growled. "Just kiss him. At least four of us will be happy, and Sherlock and Mycroft can just shove off and stop being such twats," he had said. Mycroft. Anderson's Angel and almost as annoying as Sherlock. Unlike her his Devil very clearly sounds like a Devil should.
"Or we could just gag them. Gags are wonderful things aren't they Mikey," Jim coos had flickered into her ears as she had met Philip's kiss. The contact allowed for him to hear his spirits and best of all was the second effect "OOOhh~, Sherly, Darling, how lovely of you to join us" She hears an angry sounding MMF! "Such lovely things gags aren't they, Johnny boy,"
"Hands off Jim," John growled. Jim's a bit too good of a Devil. Proved by the fact that most other Devil's don't like him. Anderson was doomed the moment he got Jim and Sally is doomed too because Jim is the only devil that can shut Sherlock up.

Warning: This prompt contains subject matter that some may find triggering. Prompt: I'd love to see Sherlock's reaction to Mycroft being attacked and/or raped. Mycroft is the all-seeing, all-knowing big brother, so how does Sherlock react to Mycroft's traumatised state?

Aside from the whump, I want to see John, Sherlock, and Lestrade join forces to take vengeance on whoever did such a thing.

John was working as a waitress in a cocktail bar when he met Sherlock.

I don't know where that came from, I just know I want it.

Inspired by another prompt I read about Moriarty trying and failing to bake a perfectly burnt gingerbread man.

No matter how many batches he bakes, no matter how perfectly timed, he just can't get it right. Every single one comes out perfect.

So he pays/blackmails/kidnaps Mary Berry to do it for him.

Crack, please - I don't want to see Mary suffer!

The Dresden Dolls - 'Coin Operated Boy'

The first thing Sherlock does after returning from his hiatus is to go to Angelo's, scare the living daylights out of the proprietor, and proceed to gorge himself on food. After two years of not knowing where his next meal was coming from, food's not just fuel any more.

Up to anon whether you include any other scenes - maybe you could include one with John being amazed at how much fish and chips/tea and biscuits/wedding cake Sherlock's managing to stuff himself with these days. For some reason I'd like to see John catching him eating peanut butter out of the jar.

Sorry, I should have put this in the post - gen preferred, please! But whatever anon comes up with is more than fine. :D

sherlock misbehaves a lot but is too young to have a "substitute" so mycroft's "substitute" lestrade gets punished because older brothers should keep the younger ones out of trouble. Mycroft is often angry and their relationship is strained but sherlock starts to understand when he becomes of age and his only friend John is bought as his "substitute".

plus points-"substitutes" are sanctioned and therefore permanent so the only way to change them or have another one is through death.

A pirate AU with *John* as the pirate please. I'm partial to bottomlock as well.

Nonnies, I've craved something like this for ages:

Years ago, alpha!Mycroft found omega!Sherlock while the latter was in heat and high. The drugs messed with Sherlock's scent (or something) so that Mycroft reacted to his sibling and vice versa and Holmescest happened. For whatever reason, the resulting pregnancy wasn't terminated. The brothers end up having a difficult relationship. The (healthy) kid either lives with Sherlock or goes to a boarding school in Switzerland or wherever. Mycroft made sure that nobody knows it's his child and is terrified of the Sherlock-drugs-combination because he fears Holmescest will happen again when Sherlock is high and they're alone.

Then shit hits the fan. Magnussen finds out? John finds out? Holmescest happens again.

OP: Giving the child up for adoption (Mycroft ensured it came to a good family and of course monitors him/her) is fine, too. Prompt is really more about the shameful secret. *hides*

Against everyone's advice Sherlock takes a police case involving a brutal serial killer who may surpass even Sherlock's skill.

At first, most people think Sherlock is just trying to prove he's better - a battle of wits like with Moriarty, a game. But not this time. Sherlock takes no pleasure in this case, it's no game.

Unknown to anyone but Lestrade, Sherlock has a very personal reason for taking this case and is the reason Lestrade trusts Sherlock. But the case is wearing Sherlock down in a way no one has seen before, and that scares John in a way nothing else can. Could this be the case to break Sherlock? Not if John and Lestrade have any say in the matter

Charles Augustus Magnussen is a strange and complex man, one that not even Mycroft has much power against. Because most...villains in life have simple and predictable wants: money, power, prestige, sex - but Magnussen isn't interested in them. Oh he likes them all and makes sure he has them, but they are not what drives him.

But all that changes when he meets Sherlock and he wants...needs Sherlock. It is of no matter that the virgin detective is foolishly pinning after that fool Dr John Watson who is blindly ignorant of both Sherlock's feelings and his own wife's dark past, and shooting of Sherlock.

Sherlock and Dr Watson's relationship is strained to say the least and Magnussen knows just what pressure points to apply to break that relationship forever. After all if the good doctor won't see what's under his nose then he doesn't deserve to keep it, and Magnuessen is very good at looking after his things.

Unknown to John, Sherlock was pregnant at the same time as Mary. Sherlock refuses to tell John, not wanting John to hate him more or blame him for breaking up him and Mary. They are a family and Sherlock...is not. He can't take this away from John so he keeps quiet.

He keeps his distance from John and reasons he has two choices - abortion or adoption. Whichever he chooses (and *please* no judgement or bashing about whichever he chooses) he keeps a secret from John. Mycroft of course finds out and Lestrade, but they promise to keep his secret at Sherlock's uncharateristic pleading.

Fast forward two years, and Sherlock hasn't really seen much of John and has tried to move on until John comes barging back into his life. His marriage is over. He knows about Mary, about shooting Sherlock, and about Sherlock's baby. There is no baby Watson, no Mary, just John wanting to know why. How could he make such an important decision alone, why didn't he tell him?

And just like that, something breaks in Sherlock...and John is given the whole, raw, undiluted truth.

Bonus: Mycroft and Lestrade confront John after he barges back into Sherlock's life

Hoping that I am using this correctly as I failed the last time I tried to post something. My fill for that prompt is sadly floating somewhere and making likely no sense in its current location. So if this is posting in the right area here is my prompt. I would like a fic will Sherlock saying this line.
"Bored. Where's the nearest orgy." Preferably not acting for a case. Crack is fine but it would be even better if you manage it to not be complete crack.

Older established John first meets Sherlock by bidding on him in a charitable bachelors auction.

Mycroft/Greg

Greg is shocked and unbelievable turned on when Mycroft says "Fuck me, Greg.Hard" for the first time.

“Oh, yes, fuck me! Harder!”

The moaned words caused Greg to freeze just outside their bedroom door, a horrible sense of déjà vu washing over him. He’d heard very similar words from his ex-wife, just before he’d walked in on her cheating on him for the third time – with a milkman, for God’s sake! He hadn’t even thought there still were milkmen around these days, especially in London.

The next thing to hit him was a hot flood of jealousy, and no small amount of hurt. He’d never heard Mycroft sound like that before. ‘Ice Man’ was a sobriquet that Mycroft had genuinely earned; although he’d never actually physically recoiled from Greg’s touch, he’d never initiated anything either. Greg had actually begun to wonder lately if the only reason the elder Holmes brother had agreed to go out with him in the first place was to get Greg to stop hassling him, and now just couldn’t find a non-messy way of getting free of him.

Deciding that, sod it, he was not going to be the pathetic sod who got walked all over – again – Greg threw open the bedroom door, fully prepared to start yelling.

All his accusatory words died in his throat, as his mouth went instantly dry, and the wanton, solitary figure in the room froze.

Mycroft was sprawled in the middle of their bed. He was still wearing the same shirt, tie and trousers that Greg had seen him don that morning, but the shirt was now unbuttoned and flung open, the tie was so loose that the knot was now halfway to Mycroft’s belly, and the trousers were hanging off of one ankle. Although his other foot was propped on the bed, his drawn-up leg was relaxed enough to fall to the side, going a very good job – in Greg’s opinion – of framing Mycroft’s arse.

Including the thick, black dildo that was three-quarters of the way inside Mycroft.

“Gre-Gregory,” Mycroft finally managed to get out, his breath hitching in the middle. “What . . . You’re home early.”

“I think I need to start coming home early more often,” Greg said, as he finally found his voice again. He grinned as he stepped closer to the bed. “Need a hand there?” Resting a knee on the bed, he reached out to brush his fingers over the end of the dildo.

“No, no – ah! – hand needed,” Mycroft answered, twitching as Greg jostled the toy inside him. “But perhaps – oh, God! – something else?”

“Well, now.” Greg stood upright again and placed his hands at the waistband of his trousers. “Are you going to ask me as nicely as whoever you were just thinking of?”

Mycroft gave him one of the Holmes’ patented you-see-but-don’t-observe looks. Somehow, coming from Mycroft, it had an effect on him that Sherlock’s similar look didn’t quite manage. “Honestly, Greg,” the man tutted. “As if I’d ever be thinking of anyone else other than you. But since you want me to ask nicely . . . then FUCK me, Greg!”

“My absolute pleasure,” growled Greg, and pounced.

Au where John has the power to not only know whether or not people are lying to him, but also can understand what people are hiding/what they really mean/what is between the lines of their words. Basically he can hear the intentions of what people say and what lies behind their words.
Not sure how far you want to take this AU, whether you want everyone to have interesting powers or just John or whether he keeps it a secret or not (would prefer it at least be not wildly known). Filler can decide that.
How does this affect John's life? How does this affect his work as a doctor and in the Army? How does it change his relationship with Sherlock, his first meeting with Mycroft, his relationship with the Yard and his meeting with Moriarty?
Basically I want to see it all, the longer the better! But feel free to write however much inspires you anyway!

I love this idea. I feel like this is the kind of awesome fic that got written in droves in 2011. *sigh* The good ol' days.

After Mary announces her pregnancy, Sherlock decides he needs to leave. He's in love with John, and it's getting too much. He knows his 'death' upset John. They almost had something then, but John had chosen Mary even after knowing her past, even after that night he and Sherlock shared...so it's time for John to focus on his wife and child, not helping Sherlock with his crime fighting games.

So without much fanfare, Sherlock sends goodbye letters to all the important people (including Mycroft) and leaves London without any real idea of where to go.

Fast forward five years and things are very different. John's marriage is over amidst much bitterness, and there is no baby Watson. He is lonely, angry, fed up and desperately bored. He misses Sherlock, he misses the crime, but has barely heard from Sherlock over the years. In desperation he contacts Mycroft only to get a chilly reception but when John refuses to leave, he gets an address in remote Scotland.

On arrival to his shock, Sherlock is there looking the same but different; calmer, more relaxed. The reason appears to be two children hiding behind him, twins apprantly, a girl and boy who look very much like Sherlock but there hints of...John too. But that would mean...that one night so long ago...is this why Sherlock left? Are these his and Sherlock's children...John

John needs answers, has questions and for the first time in forever feels like he may have hope...

++ MyStrade are a couple who reguarly visit Sherlock and spoil the kids rotten
+++ twins are boy called Hamish and girl called Athena (just cause I can imagine Sherlock using that name!)

Since Magnussen knows everyone's pressure points, he is able to get what he wants from people. No matter how hard they fight, a pressure point can only withstand so much...pressure before it breaks.

Magnussen is enjoying twisting Mycroft Holmes - a man who can bring the English government to it's knees, like a puppet. But Magnussen has a reason behind this. He wants Sherlock for himself. And Mycroft holds the key.

Despite his protests, Magnussen knows Mycroft would move heaven and earth for his little brother, but when faced with an impossible dilemma - hand Sherlock over to Magnussen for his own perverted whims, or allow Magnussen to break Sherlock in a very public and brutal way, what will he choose.

JohnLock and MyStrade welcome, as is CAM/Sherlock non-con

John or Lestrade comes into the hospital to find Magnussen molesting Sherlock - only he's not just touching his hands...

They are furious and disgusted but Magnussen is all calmness and cocky, pointing out no one can stop him, and that he will be a regular 'visitor' to Sherlock. After Magnussen leaves, they look after Sherlock who is freaked out.

Later the summon the Sherlock gang to come up with a way to de-throne Magnussen before taking some very personal revenege on him.

JohnLock please, Mystrade welcome.

Always female!Sherlock

Sherlock has complicated relationships with men. She has always claimed love doesn't exist, but that didn't stop her falling in love with John.

John who is now in love with Mary and Sherlock keeps telling herself heartbreak isn't real but that doesn't stop the pain.

Then there's Moriarty who's dangerous obsession with her almost killed them both but Sherlock can't stop herself playing the Game and she hates herself for that. With Moriarty comes Moran, Moriarty's shadow, who understands her feelings for Moriarty probably better than herself.

Magnussen...he wants to own Sherlock for his own amusement, a conquest. There are few men who have repulsed her like him, and that only makes him more determined to have her.

Throw in protective and too gallant Lestrade, Mycroft who can't stop interfering in her life, Mrs Hudson who seems determined to match-make her and John, Molly who seems to have a crush on Sherlock, Irene who doesn't even hide hers (and won't stop sexting her), and her wonderfully annoying parents and Sherlock still can't work out how all these people came to be in her life.
