Always!female-Sherlock

Sherlock has always been convinced without her brain, she has nothing, is nothing. All her life people never hidden their distrust, contempt or judgement of her, her career and her refusal to appoligise or hide her intelligence, it's her only armour, but she and everyone else know that.

To hide that pain she's been embarking on a course of slow self destruction with drugs and after an almost fatal overdose, her brother Mycroft, her self-appointed guardian is beyond despair. Despite their differences he loves her, he just wished she loved herself enough to want to live. Even her crime solving with Lestrade, who is the only person Sherlock trusts isn't enough to help her. She needs a reason to stop, to want to live.

That reason comes in the unexpected form of Dr John Watson, former military doctor, honourably discharged. He is gentle with Sherlock in a way no one has been before, defends her, respects her but also holds her to account. He makes her feel...lighter, that maybe she doesn't need drugs to numb the pain. For the first time in a long time, she lets John into her world, her crime solving and unlike the others he doesn't ridicule or shred her heart. He belongs. He fits into her world like he's made to be there.

And suddenly the girl who had nothing but her brain, might just have everything else she never thought she wanted, but desperately needed

Everyone is shocked when Sherlock agrees to take a seemingly innocuous case brought to him by a child (by themselves, no less). During the case Sherlock quickly bonds with the child. Sherlock has much more patience and respect for the child than he has for most adults.

The child becomes Sherlock's staunchest defender, with a fierceness that even John is in awe of.

As for the case itself, it soon becomes clear that it is anything but simple, and may turn out to be their most deadly.

JohnLock prefered please. The child can be any gender or age up to about 9.

Sherlock sailor moon crossover in which Sherlock is the moon prince (or princess) and basically figures out the whole secret royalty thing in 5 minutes. Well, once he stopped thinking this was a a hallucination brought on by Mycroft's "low tar" cigarettes anyway.

Bonus points if he ends up wearing a fuku for a little while.

Mycroft's 14 year old daughter shows up. He had no idea that she existed. After a while and complete disbelief (I didn't think woman were you're areas, brother mine) it comes out that the government arranged for Mycroft to be correctionally raped to "stop his homosexual thoughts".

Sherlock gets on a really bad drug trip (overdose? someone gave him bad stuff?) and while he's in this stupor he winds up raping one of the ladies from the series (Mary, Molly, Anthea, Irene). Sherlock finds out what he did and is HORRIFIED. But when he goes to the victim to beg forgiveness, they brush it off.

Sherlock is left to stand there in shock as the woman he raped basically excuses his actions because he was drugged up and "if you were in your right mind I know you'd never hurt me" or "I've been through worse, at least you didn't leave marks" or "I probably should have said no but I've wanted you so badly that I just took it."

Said woman goes on with her day as normal.

Sherlock is eating himself alive with guilt.

Bonus: Sherlock trying desperately to explain why the victim should be furious with him and they're just...not. And he just gets more and more disgusted with himself the more they try not to make a big deal out of it.

TL;DR: Sherlock rapes someone, and he feels worse about it than the victim

Sherlock and Mycroft are both heavily pregnant and everyone's waiting with baited breath to see who will go into labor first.

No one expected they'd deliver within minutes of each other...

(I'm not particular on pairings, omegaverse or how they became pregnant. I'm even okay with it being a Gen fic for that matter... I just want Mycroft and Sherlock trying to one-up each other as to who's better at handling the pain of childbirth)

+ for the Holmes brothers coming to an agreement and supporting each other during their labors
++ if the babies aren't born in a hospital
+++ for brotherly bonding over their newborns

So since the last prompt of 2016 was an mpreg prompt, let's keep it going for the first prompt of 2017!! (please don't hate me...)

So a little backstory:

While in Afghanistan, John has a secret relationship with another soldier which is abruptly cut short a few weeks later when the soldier dies in the same gun battle that John was injured in. While being treated for his injuries, it's there John finds out he's pregnant, so he heads back to London and moves in with Stamford for the time being to heal and decide what to do next.

Around the beginning of John's fifth month, Stamford suggests that John start attending the prenatal classes that he's been teaching at the hospital for the past few months (if you prefer to make Stamford a female for this, I'm totally okay with it. Though I do think there's a great idea of a man teaching a prenatal class.)

Being without a partner, John is at first reluctant to go (after all, he IS a doctor...) but finally agrees when Stamford tells him that there's several pregnant males taking the classes, including another single father... Enter Sherlock, who is in his fourth month of pregnancy and seeming just as uncomfortable about being there as John is. Their introduction proceeds pretty much the same as in 'ASIP' and Sherlock offers to let John move in to his place on Baker Street,(After all, two heads are better than one when taking care of babies, right?) and John agrees. And of course, Mrs. Hudson is delighted with the news that there will be another patter of tiny feet around and someone for Sherlock. ("We're not a couple...")

Basically I'd love a story with the two of them going to prenatal classes together; the two of them learning how to take care of newborns (with Sherlock failing miserably at putting a diaper on a baby), labor and delivery classes (Sherlock and John doing breathing exercises...omg...) and things of that nature. Meanwhile, Sherlock is able to help John move on from the tragedy of his previous relationship while John is able to help Sherlock past his insecurities of being able to give birth and raise a child.

I'd prefer Gen, but I'm okay with Johnlock as long as there's no graphic sex scenes. And not too heavy on the angst; I'm a total sucker for fluff. Other than that, it's fair game.

Bonus points for each helping the other through their labors.
Double bonus points for Sherlock nearly passing out when watching a birth video in one of the classes.

(I may take a stab at writing this at some point, but I wanted to go ahead and post it since I'm sure there's someone who could do a much better job of it than I could...)

Ever since ASIP John and Sherlock have gotten in the habit of sharing the backseat of a cab, both with their hands resting in the middle seat, then it escalates slowly to pinkies touching and ring fingers overlapping and eventually it just becomes ritual to hold hands between them in the backseats of cabs.

Sherlock and John haven’t shared a cab alone since the wedding.

After Mary's funeral Sherlock doesn't realize he expects them to share a cab but he does and it's not until John is the one to say "this one's mine" (like Sherlock has been doing since the wedding) that he realizes it won't be easy to patch things up with John.

It can be as long or short as you like. Bonus points if it ends in resolution and they're pals again. Bonus bonus points if it ends in resolution of their relationship then smut.

Things have been difficult between John and Sherlock since Sherlock's fake death. John is angry and resentful about not being told the truth and can't help but let Sherlock know that, constantly.

He's always put up with a lot from Sherlock, but to be left out the loop about this, for two whole *years*, no John isn't in any mood to forgive and forget.

But what if things weren't as simple as they seemed. What if Sherlock had never faked his death - that he always actually planned to die, but Moriarty refused to let Sherlock 'go'? What if Sherlock had no control over John not knowing the truth, or how long he was gone for. In fact those two years, Sherlock had no control or choices in his life at all. All that remains are the scars, that he'll never let John see.

Loosing two years of his life was a price that Moriarty has made very sure Sherlock paid for in blood, and if Sherlock wants to keep John safe, he'll continue with his 'cold heartless bastard' rountine. The horrible irony is, in saving John's life, he's going to loose John anyway, he sees it in John's eyes, the distrust, resentment and SHerlock is powerless to tell him the truth.

After all Moriarty promise to burn Sherlock's heart away

When Sherlock is the victim of a particularly vicious sexual assault during a harrowing case, it breaks Sherlock in a way no one has ever seen.

This is something not even the great Sherlock Holmes can (or is able) brush off, and for once Sherlock doesn't even seem capable of hiding his pain or putting on a mask. The injuries are to great, the humilation too obvious and for a man who insists he has no heart, those who love him, are almost as broken as he is as they watch, comfort and silently rail over Sherlock's hospital bed, as they help Sherlock endure humiliating examinations. They comfort and support during painful police interviews. Recovery is going to be long and painful for them all.

John, Lestrade and Mycroft are determined to protect Sherlock and help him to recover, while they track down and 'take care of' Sherlock's rapist, but neither will be easy even with their combined military, political and police knowledge, and they are going to need help from Sherlock's friends/allies, but ironically the most help comes from three of the most unexpected sources - Sally Donovan, Irene Adler and Jim Moriarty.

Established JohnLock please, BAMF!John, BAMF!Lestrade and BAMF!Mycroft please. No Sherlock being all cold and "I'm fine" - he's broken by this attack, Mystrade welcome.

Moriarty has wanted Sherlock for a long time, and in his warped mind he considers their 'game' a form of courtship.

Unknown to Sherlock or even Mycroft, Moriarty has installed several CCTV hidden cameras around 221B capturing every private moment of Sherlock's, but when John and Sherlock become lovers, Moriarty watches their most intimate moments with a growing cold fury.

He should be the only one to hold the detective's interest, he should be the only one who gets to see that pale, perfect body and make Sherlock cry in pleasure. How could a boring doctor ever understand Sherlock like he does? Moriarty has to make Sherlock see their 'game' for what it really is, and that he belongs to Jim not John.

Unfortuntely he underestimated Dr John Watson, his military training and just how far he'll go to protect Sherlock

John and Sherlock are tough, they have survived bombs, homicidal taxi drivers, Moriarty, incompetants at Scotland Yard, Hounds from Hell, world's most perverted professional Blackmailer, the Woman who [almost] outsmarted Sherlock, family dinners with Mummy, the longest non-courtship in history, and general daily death, mayhem and disaster

But this is by far their toughest challenge...surviving parenthood.

their children (more than one child please) have Sherlock's abilities, do they take more after John, or maybe they put Mycroft to shame and seek to be the first child PM? Do the pair still live with Mrs Hudson and how does that work with children in tow. Has being parents changed Sherlock or John in any ways, or their relationship with others.

JohnLock, no Mary/John babies please, the kids are 100% Sherlock and John's - can be mpreg or IVF. Bottom!Sherlock prefered. Mystrade is welcome. Lestrade as godfather would be awesome, even more so Irene as godmother...

Bonus: Moriarty is still around...

In a horribly cruel twist of fate, just when John thinks he and Sherlock can settle down into their well deserved domestic married bliss, Sherlock gets sick.

Not cold/flu sick, but collapsing, bleeding, seizures, screaming in pain, scary-as-hell sick and not even Sherlock can brush off his symptoms, mainly because he either doesn't have the energy or lacks consciousness.

With Mycroft pulling the strings and John pulling rank, Sherlock goes through bateries of tests, scans, exams, gives samples of bodily fluids... but when the results finally come in, it would've almost be better not knowing.

John hates his medical background because beneath all the latin jargon, it means Sherlock is dying, or more specifically, his brain is and there is no cure, there are no medical trials or tests, not even top secret ones Mycroft can gain access to.

Sherlock, John, Mycroft, Lestrade, Molly, Mrs Hudson, even Moriarty and Irene...they are a combination of the most powerful, dangerous and brilliant people on the planet but none of them can save Sherlock, because this is life not the Great Game

Moriarty isn't dead, his last game with Sherlock was just too much fun to leave. In a rare charitable moment, he decided to let Sherlock recover a bit from his fake death with his One True Love, trusty John at his side before he popped up again to resume the Game - after all, surely the great detective and his Doctor didn't truly think he'd ever leave, did they?

But when he discovers someone, some gnat called Charles Augustus Magnussen has the audacity to manipulate and blackmail Sherlock, and then touches... strokes Sherlock's hand...he has crossed a line.

Oh that won't do at all.

Sherlock is HIS to make or destroy as he sees fit. Everyone knows that and those that don't, well educating is always fun. Magnussen likes pressure points, likes to control well Moriarty invented the game, and he plays to win, and destroy. Oh Magnussen is clever and it won't be easy but Sherlock is worth it, so few are.

Magnussen is a dead man walking and maybe he'll even manage to reel in Dear John and Brother Dearest since they do so love protecting the lovely Sherlock.

Established JohnLock please. One-sided Sherlock/Moriarty and CAM/Sherlock would be awesome!!

Everyone has always agreed that John is the normal one. He's the one who does relationships and feelings. So when Sherlock somehow ends up going on a *date* everyone is baffled, and bemused.

That turns into shock when a date turns into actual dating, weeks and months. Sherlock and his boyfriend suit each other. The boyfriend is stable, functional and has patience that surpasses John. He doesn't bore or irritate Sherlock and has no problem accepting John. Their friends and Mycroft like the boyfriend and Sherlock...is happy, content even, in a way John has never seen. John tries to convince himself it doesn't sting - after all, he's never wanted Sherlock that way, so why does it bother him.

So why does John feel so empty and...angry, and was there a hint of jealousy? Surely that couldn't be right. John was straight, Sherlock was gay. Sure John went on dates, but nothing like the stability and warmth that Sherlock shared with his boyfriend. And wasn't that a horrible bit of irony. After years of being assumed to be Sherlock's boyfriend and John shouting to the heavens he wasn't gay, he finds himself resenting and hating Sherlock's boyfriend for his mere existance.

John tries to ignore the feelings, after all they made no sense, and it worked...at least until Sherlock got engaged, and John was invited to be best man. That's when everything really started to go down hill...

Eventual JohnLock please. BAMF!John would be awesome. Sherlock is in a genuine relationship - there are no games or tricks, and they love each other. I'd really love to basically see a story where Sherlock gets engaged not John and how it'd affect their dynamic

I really like this idea.

Spoilers for The six Thatchers

Sherlock doesn't handle the events of TST well. At all. He ends up giving himself an overdoese under the guise of using his mind palace to figure out how to get John to forgive him. He's also having suicidal thoughts, his friend died to save him, died when he'd promised to protect her, and to make it worse John is putting all the blame on him. He's floundering.

Mycroft finds him and calls an ambulance, as soon as that's done he snaps a picture and sends it to John. No words, just a picture. Sherlock is laying, shirt undone, needle in arm, in a puddle of vomit. He's in the hospital for a couple days recovering and mycroft isn't certain he wants John to visit. Sherlock keeps talking to people who aren't there, drifting between reality and his mind palace.

Please oh please give me John apologising on his knees from the bottom of his heart for hitting Sherlock. This thing is really bothering me I need it fixed pleeeeaaase

This could be lovely.

What if Culverton enjoyed sexually assaulting his victims before killing them? Sherlock missed this huge clue.

He could deal with someone trying to kill him, that was was plan after all-for John to save him...but this? This was defintely NOT the plan.

TLDR: Culverton molests/rapes Sherlock in the hospital.

Extra points if John arrives and catches Smith in the act.

+1 The Character was clearly based on Jimmy Saville, who did rape patents at his hospital. I was half expecting them to actually go there.

Mycroft was supposed to be watching Sherlock, Victor & Eurus that day but something distracted him. Then he couldn't solve Eurus's rhyme. Mycroft has always blamed himself and his parents blamed him too.

Just give me Mycroftian angst, someone can give him a hug if you want (preferred ship Mycroft/Lestrade)

The "you're a gift"/"how do you want me" banter between the two when Moriarty was at Sherrinford is gnawing at me. I just want some good old fashioned hate sex between them to quell the thirst.

Bonus if they have semi public desk sex in Mycroft's glass-walled office.

Something happens and suddenly Sherlock's mind is much more cat-like. It doesn't seem like that big of a difference at first, but John really knows something is wrong when Sherlock rubs up against him and starts purring.

John was Sherlock's slave, but when Sherlock "died" in Reichenbach, he was freed and left a considerable sum of money as according to Sherlock's will. Two years later, John finds Sherlock being sold as a slave and purchases him.

OMG I want to read this! Please, anyone?
