Where are the spoilers? I need some. Get me some!!!

(Anonymous) 2013-12-15 06:27 pm (UTC)(link)
I wasn't there, but apparently there are John/Sherlock moments, there are Sherlock/Moriarty moments and there is Anderson and...
I want to know.

Is the bonfire scene where Sherlock pulls John out still there?!!!

What have been revealed so far...

(Anonymous) 2013-12-15 06:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Not much, unfortunately. Here's what we have:

People seem very secretive this time around, but here's a summary of what I found.

- There's more Anderson than normal.
- The reunion is funny, sad, and then funny again.
- There's a nod to the "Sherlock Lives" movement.
- We find out how Sherlock did it, but apparently it isn't crystal clear.
- There are a lot of Sherlock/John moments.
- Molly has a bigger role than in previous episodes.
- There are terrorists, and they're not portrayed in a gross or racist way.
- Mary is sweet and funny.
- One of the best moments of the episode will delight Sherlock/Moriarty fans.
- Mary doesn't like John's facial hair! (Bit of script here: http://thewalkingassbutt.tumblr.com/post/70095456957/could-you-tell-us-at-least-a-bit-of-a-script-from-some)
- Moriarty is dead, but figures in the episode.
- Sherlock and John don't hug, but there's a big moment between the two that's really sweet.
- Molly doesn't date Sherlock.
- Someone (not John) hugs Sherlock.
- There are terribly sad and heart-wrenching moments.

- Mycroft gets a little more background and character development.
- Kitty Riley isn't in the episode.
- Donovan isn't in the episode.
- Sherlock doesn't personally tell John why he did it, but it's mentioned in the episode.
- Lestrade isn't in the episode a lot, but he's there a good few times.
- Sherlock has changed his attitude a lot towards Molly.

How he did it?

(Anonymous) 2013-12-15 08:49 pm (UTC)(link)

Can anyone confirm if that's how Sherlock did it?

Re: How he did it?

(Anonymous) 2013-12-15 09:20 pm (UTC)(link)
LOL, it was on Twitter earlier and I asked Thewalkingassbutt on tumblr if the tea was part of the solution and she said no.

So glad it's not how he did it, the radioactive eyes were too much for me.

Heya mods! Thank you for making this post. All we need now is someone to get into details and spoil everything.

PLEASE, IF YOU HAVE SEEN IT, PLEASE COME HERE AND TELL US ABOUT IT! YOU CAN EVEN DO IT ANON!

This isn't a spoiler, but I've seen a lot of questions about the whole Caitlin Moran made Benedict and Martin read fanfic incident. Saw this and I thought people would be interested.

Cry for Help!

(Anonymous) 2013-12-22 06:27 am (UTC)(link)
Mycroft fan posting a cry for help for a sort of confirmation spoiler. In the BBC trailer, where Sherlock says the one person he thought I cared the least about, is the one person who mattered the most, something along those lines-is the identity of that person revealed in the episode? Cause it doesn't sound like it was describing John-I'm hoping for Mycroft of course, but it was probably John or Molly-confirm, pretty please?

Re: Cry for Help!

(Anonymous) 2013-12-24 11:33 pm (UTC)(link)
TheWalkingAssButt says it was Molly.

But don't worry anon, the episode starts with Hero!Mycroft sweeping in to save Sherlock apparently. ^_^

As someone who sat a few seats away from Benedict and thus got a nice Cumberbatch laugh track to go with the screening (thank you, gods of fangirls and other crazies) I can say that the Moriarty scene got the most Cumberlaughter...

Does Sherlock kiss anyone? Or get kissed?

[identity profile] scriggly.livejournal.com 2013-12-26 01:20 am (UTC)(link)
Hi! Everyone's commenting on how Gatiss and Moffat have been obviously reading Tumblr, and I remember a reporter back when they were filming saying he had no idea what the parts he saw being filmed were about -- I was hoping this meant a Sherlock liplock with a guy would be worked into the series. Not as in a love interest, more like as cover or something like that. Does Sherlock get kissed/kiss anyone?

If something happens to Mycroft instead of Sherlock, John, or Mary in episode three, I will scream...

Holmes Boy's, Lestrade

(Anonymous) 2013-12-29 05:13 pm (UTC)(link)
To prevent myself going into Lestrade withdrawal after seeing the miniepisode, I have to ask, is there much Sherlock/Lestrade interaction in the episode. I'm a big fan of their father/son vibe that shines through occasionally(ie, Study in Pink).
Also, for my inner Mycroft fangirl, does Mycroft show any genuine emotion in this episode, to anyone? And do he and John have any interaction at all?
Feel free to ignore these queries if they're too spoilery : )

Re: Holmes Boy's, Lestrade

(Anonymous) 2013-12-30 03:06 am (UTC)(link)
There isn't much Lestrade in the ep, but what there is is exquisite...

And yes, there is some nice Mycroft and Sherlock scenes to be had. Some emotions - and a bit of BAMF!Mycroft too!! (Can't really think of any John and Mycroft, though.)

I heard it was NOT Molly who gets the "person who mattered most" line.

(Anonymous) 2013-12-30 10:12 pm (UTC)(link)
So now I don't know what to believe.

Also with the sister above, I plan on starting a riot if Mycroft is killed off.

Just soes ya'll know.

The "broken heart" comment

(Anonymous) 2014-01-02 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
Is it foreshadowing that Mycroft will have his heart broken in an emotional sense-or a physical, medical sense, like a heart attack?

I mean, they were playing Operation.

They aren't known for being subtle with things like that.

(Anonymous) 2014-01-02 05:05 am (UTC)(link)
My god, give me sadist!Mycroft or dark!John right the fuck now.

(Anonymous) 2014-01-02 06:23 am (UTC)(link)

Molly's beau

(Anonymous) 2014-01-02 05:52 am (UTC)(link)
So what's up with that Tom guy? Is that he looks like Sherlock (tall, dark, curly hair, pale)? Or is he a secret bad guy?

Re: Molly's beau

(Anonymous) 2014-01-03 06:25 pm (UTC)(link)
He looks more like Stephen Morris from New Order if you need an image. He seems alright for now though.

(Anonymous) 2014-01-02 06:23 am (UTC)(link)
Oh. My. God. I immediately thought of this comm. upon watching this episode because DAYUM all of the kinks and pairings it hit:

1.) BDSM: Sherlock shirtless, bloody and being beaten for answers.
2.) Incest (Sherlock/Mycroft): Sherlock accuses Mycroft of enjoying watching him getting beaten up.
3.) Lookalike Sex: Sherlock/Tom (Not direct, but the potential for it)
4.) Sherlock/Molly: TWO KISSES. SHE IS THE ONE WHO COUNTED MOST. SHE HAS A TYPE. DUDE. DUDE SERIOUSLY.
5.) Garment Kink: Coats - Sherlock has many coats.
6.) Sherlock/Lestrade: Lestrade hugs Sherlock when he first sees him.
7.) Sherlock/Anderson: When Sherlock is telling Anderson how he did it, combined with Anderson's obsession with him...so much room for hate!sex/hurt/comfort sex.
8.) Threesome: John/Mary/Sherlock Mary: (to Sherlock) Don't worry, I'll work him over. (to John, regarding Sherlock) I like him. (I SHIP THIS SO FREAKING HARD MY GOD)
9.) Sherlock/John: If there was a world record for angst, it would be this episode. The fodder. The mother freaking fodder. Good. God. Not to mention they can't stop thinking about each other? Sherlock keeps thinking about John during a case, invading his mind palace? John assumes Sherlock is fooling him in the clinic? So many directions this could go in it is not even funny.
10.) Drugging/Potential Noncon: John getting kidnapped. What all exactly did they do to him?

(Anonymous) 2014-01-03 02:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Who plays Lord Moran? His actor looks super familiar but he's not listed on any of the cast lists I can find.

The Actor who play's Lord Moran

(Anonymous) 2015-02-14 08:08 am (UTC)(link)

Not sure if it belongs here (This episode 2 for season 3)

(Anonymous) 2014-01-05 10:23 pm (UTC)(link)
What happened so far

-Sherlock's the best man at John's wedding
-Sherlock solves two cases in one
-Sherlock is officially forever alone due to the ending
-Mary is pregnant
-Everyone knows Sherlock is lonely and/or pinning
-Trolling (Sherlock hangs out with a woman then she ditches him at the end, Molly the only person noticing Sherlock alone/leaving, Hints of Sherlock/John and Sherlock/John/Mary that were pretty much killed by the ending, etc.)
-BAMF John
-More about John's military past, sort of
-Sherlock and John getting drunk and making fools of themselves
-Sherlock when drunk can't deduce worth crap
-Some Greg BAMF moments
-"How's the diet Mycroft" with Mycroft working out and still having a tummy.

I was kinda surprised with this episode. It ran from funny, to dramatic, to depressing at the end.

ACD

(Anonymous) 2014-01-06 09:41 pm (UTC)(link)
If this keeps following ACD canon Mary is toast.

Am I the only one thinking this?

Re: ACD

(Anonymous) 2014-01-06 10:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Not Original anon here but I'm thinking the same thing.

Is she going to die during childbirth or something else? Since in the original she gets sick and dies I believe and John ends up remarrying.

Or maybe they might kill her off and then have John well...not remarry and mourn properly. I never understood why he remarried another woman in the first place.

His Last Vow Screening Spoilers Please

[identity profile] scriggly.livejournal.com 2014-01-08 05:38 am (UTC)(link)
Please, please all of you lucky souls going to the screening of His Last Vow tonight, PLEASE come back and post all the spoilers you're comfortable with. I'm out of my mind with worry about Mycroft, and I can't help thinking that when Mrs Hudson told John about how her husband turned out to be something else she never expected it was deliberately put by the show as a sort of premonition about Mary. Tragically I've found it impossible to hate Mary, so I'm really, really mad at John right now. The sorrow and sadness I've felt since the Sign Of Three aired has even surprised me. They couldn't possibly kill -- or rather not-kill -- Sherlock again, right? Please, please have a super time and come back and tell us anything. Thanks!

(Anonymous) 2014-01-08 09:31 pm (UTC)(link)
So if anyone who went to the screening is willing to talk to us...

- Has Sherlock relapsed, or is it just for a case? Or both? The Baker Street Babes used the word 'marijuana' as a teaser. Is that his drug of choice? Not cocaine?
- I've heard that Janine is in the episode. Does the work for Magnussen? Does Sherlock seduces/sleeps with her (because y'know, Holmes is engaged to Milverton's maid) or does he seduce Magnussen's butler instead/romances him?
- Does someone important die?
- Is the cliffhanger really that good/frustrating? Not asking for it if you don't want to tell anyone (just in case... I really don't mind knowing haha) but you know. Just curious.
- Did they drop pining!Sherlock? Or did they hint at it, even vaguely?

Thanks a lot!

JUST ONE THING I WANT TO KNOW

(Anonymous) 2014-01-08 10:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Does anybody die?

Female!Sherlock/Mycroft Pole Dancing

[identity profile] lupinspotion02.livejournal.com 2014-01-09 03:44 am (UTC)(link)
Female!Sherlock learned how to pole dance when she was away (The 3 years), and she surprises Mycroft with her new talent. Established relationship.

Bonus - If they have sex afterwards.

Spoilers please!

[identity profile] scriggly.livejournal.com 2014-01-09 10:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Digital Spy just said there's one very significant character death. Can someone please tell me if it's Lestrade? If it's not, don't say who if you don't want to -- but if it's Lestrade I need to prepare emotionally!

Wait what?

(Anonymous) 2014-01-12 04:58 am (UTC)(link)
Did anyone notice how John touched Sherlock's knee in the drunk scene and Sherlock said "I don't mind."

What's up with that?
