THE MEME NEEDS ARCHIVISTS!

GUIDELINES

Anon posting is not required, but most definitely allowed. If you think you recognise an anon, keep it to yourself and don’t out them. IP tracking is off, and will remain that way.

Multiple fills are encouraged, and all kinds of fills are accepted! Fic, art, vids, cosplay, interpretive dance — whatever. Go wild! :D

Don’t reprompt until TWO parts after the last posting of the prompt.

RPF (real person fic, i.e. fic involving the actors themselves) is not supported at this meme.

Concrit is welcome, but kinkshaming, hijacking, and flaming are not tolerated.

If the part you wanted isn't up yet, just wait and one of the archivists will get to it, but please, once it is up, make sure you post your fills there according to the guidelines. DO NOT skip out on doing this because it seems like too much effort. If you want your fill to make it to the Delicious archive, that’s the way to do it.

Do not be afraid to ask questions about how it works if you are confused! The mods will be happy to explain.

WARNINGS/OFFENSIVE WORDING IN PROMPTS
Please consider warning for prompts that may trigger people (and also for fills, because some people read in flat view) and phrasing prompts in a manner that strives to be respectful.

Things which you might want to consider warning for include: Rape/Non-Con, Death, Suicidal Thoughts, Self-Harm, Underage Relationships, among others.

That being said, this is a kink meme. As such, there will be prompts that could offend you in a number of different ways. Not every prompt will have a trigger warning, and not every prompt will rub you the right way. If you have an issue with a specific prompt, feel free to bring it up in a discussion that takes place off the meme. However, flaming will not be tolerated regardless of origin.

After what happened to John in HLV and all the self loathing he must be feeling because of Mary, I think he needs to hear that he has every right to be angry and hurt and being told that nothing is his fault. And who is better than the woman who went through the exact same thing?

In 2010, Lestrade says that he's known Sherlock 5 years - since 2005.

Presumably, he'd have needed a little time between getting clean and being a good enough detective for Lestrade to pay attention - say, a year to brush up on and perfect his detective skills.

Perhaps he started out with a practice case, something to get him in the zone in about, 2004.

Around the same time that Rose Tyler went missing. When people like her mum and Mickey Smith needed interogating. Shortly after the odd disturbance around the London Eye and all the living mannequins.

Sherlock's first case was the disappearance of Rose Tyler.

crack!fic where a few of Sherlock's friends (Lestrade, Molly, Anderson, Billy, Janine, Irene, go wild) are betting on who's the bottom in John's and Sherlock's relationship.
They hide in John's closet (he has a big closet) and find out that Sherlock is indeed bottoming.
"What???" (Lestrade? Bill?) "Told you so." (Irene? Anderson?)

Oh boy! Yes please! This hits all my fluffy emo buttons.

I've seen tons of fics where they have to choose: have sex with each other or be raped by ther abductor and they choose each other.
I want a fic where John just CAN'T hurt Sherlock and hates himself for it, but chooses to let the other guy (moriarty or just some random criminal) do it.
After the rapist is gone, John tries to comfort and apologize, but Sherlock is inconsolable and ashamed and won't let John touch him.
The problem is: Sherlock thinks that he is so repulsing to John, he wouldn't even have sex with him to save him from being raped.
If you could add a happy end, I'd be very happy

Wow... I saw one on this meme where Sherlock refused to let him do it, but one where John refuses to and Sherlock takes that as proof he is not in any way even tolerable! That's awful... by which I mean, awesome prompt, seconded!

Ummmm...it's... uhh.. "By The Way, Sherlock, Do You Remember Redbeard?" [authoranon blushes and runs off].

I've been wanting do to a crossover with Believe for a while now (but with Sherlock having powers as well) but I'll work on this as soon as I can.

And second of all... I actually haven't seen any fics like that. (Perhaps I've been looking in the wrong places?) But the idea sounds intriguing, so if you could post a link to a few of said stories, I would love you forever and ever. :') Thank you.

I have seen that one, at least, I've seen one with that title. If it's the one I think it is, it isn't my personal cup of tea, however it's really well written.

Sherlock is beaten and raped (nothing personal, no mystery to it and not related to a case, which makes it even worse for Sherlock). Afterward, he knows he's badly injured and needs medical attention, but is too scared/ashamed/whatever to go to the A&E, so he goes to find John at the clinic he works at.

Maybe he signs in with a different patient name and info so John doesn't know it's him right away. Maybe he even lies about his injuries (or only mentions being beaten and not raped), either way, he gets in to see John.

John sees Sherlock. He asks what happened, and Sherlock is quiet and vague. John assumes he's just gone and mouthed off to the wrong people or something like he's done many times before, and proceeds to clean him up. At some point in the exam John realises what's really happened, and things go from there.

OP here: I feel I should add that John and Sherlock can already be in a relationship, or just newly in a relationship, or platonic or whatever. Doesn't matter to me.

Also, lots of angst, and John trying to stay professional and viewing Sherlock as just another patient, to keep from getting too emotional to be able to treat him.

That's the one! I was actually going to make that very same comment( that it might not be your cuppa) when I was mentioning what I've got in progress, but thank you so very much for seeing past that and giving me that nice compliment on the writing, even though the topic isn't your thing.
Don't worry. .. some of my sweetest, happiest stuff was written at the same time as my darkest abuse and angst... there will be no Reserved-Seat-in-Hell birthday cake ;) I'm starting it right now.

Lestrade calls Sherlock and John in for a case, and he's surprised when Sherlock is almost... nice. No cracks about anyone's intelligence, he explains things without being asked, smiling, humming. Lestrade is afraid he's high. Turns out, nope, he just finally slept with John. This is what Sherlock looks like when he gets laid.

John likes Sherlock a lot, but he still feels awkward lying in bed right next to his best mate.
Sherlock loves John but isn't a heavy enough sleeper to deal with the soldier's constant moving in his sleep.
The only time Mary feels safe from the nightmares of her past is when she's snuggled in bed between Sherlock and John.

They figure that they have things just about perfect.
