+All kinds of fills are accepted! Fic, art, vids, cosplay, interpretive dance--whatever. Go wild! :D
+Keep things neat! Read prompts before you post to see if something similar has already been done, and while you are encouraged to prompt as much as you like, try to fill as well.
+Please do not re-post prompts unless the last time they were prompted was on an older part. Simply put: ONE posting of each prompt per part.
+RPF (real person fic, i.e. fic involving the actors themselves) is not supported at this meme.
+Depending on the rate of activity, there may or may not be a prompt freeze when a part reaches 2000 and 4500 comments.
+However, there will be one when it reaches 7000. Also at 7000, after the freeze a new part will be posted, and all prompting should happen on the new part.
+Multiple fills are encouraged! :) Just because a prompt has already been claimed or written by someone, do not be afraid to offer up a second fill.
+re: hijacking.

Please refrain from hijacking a prompt. Hijacking may be defined as responding to a prompt by taking a portion of it and adding your own ideas about what should be added, changed or eliminated. In addition, commenting with off topic jokes or chatter.

By hijacking, the focus of the prompt can be lost, and inappropriate threads created. By doing this fillers may be discouraged which is something no one wants to experience.

If a prompt leads you to an original idea, please create your own prompt. The chatter or love posts are the proper places to share jokes or talk about prompts that have inspired you.

"So, why have I never met the brilliant Sherlock Holmes?" Arthur asked, gazing out the passenger side window, watching the cityscape blur past.
"He's ten times worse than Mycroft," Merlin warns. "That's saying something."
"Or maybe," Arthur says, turning to watch Merlin as he drove. "Maybe you're afraid I'll run off with your brother."
Merlin snorted. "You can't stand being wrong, and you can't stand anyone seeing past your stupid emotional barriers. You wouldn't last a minute in a relationship with my brother."
Arthur laid a careful hand on Merlin's shoulder. "Baby, you know I'd only let my barriers down for youuuuu."
Rolling his eyes, Merlin shrugged the hand off. "It's not that you'll let down your barriers, rather, he'll see past them."
From the corner of his eye, Merlin catches Arthur grinning at him. "How did he manage to acquire a boyfriend, anyway?"
"Someone as crazy as him, maybe? Or someone with low, low standards?"
"You speak very highly of your brother. I can see why we visit so often."
Merlin kept his eyes on the road, but punched Arthur in the arm. "I'm the black sheep of the family. Mycroft puts up with me, Sherlock tends to think of me as nothing more than an ant."
He glanced at Arthur, who looked a tad pissed off.
"I mean," Merlin continued. "They're both impossible to get on with, doesn't help that I'm ten years younger than Sherlock, but, it was like growing up with two strangers. At least you talk to Morgana."
"Siblings are all bitches," Arthur dismisses. "I barely ever even talk to John or Harry. They're not even bad. They're just-"
Merlin had been to a dinner with the Watson/Pendragon/LeFey family. His head had hurt for months after the yelling that went on at that table.
"I guess everyone in my family is so different in such a profound way, it's impossible for us to ever get on," Arthur explained. "I mean, there's Harry, who drinks herself into oblivion- don't need anything to do with her. There's John, who was more like a cousin or an uncle or something. He was too good for our family."
Merlin nods, and Arthur continues.
"The only one I can really get on with is Morgana, and even then we have trouble. What, with all her feminism and her 'save the planet' and her protesting shit. If her girlfriend drenches me in red paint one more time, I'll scream, Merlin, really, I will. I'll scream so much that I'll just cease to exist. Then, you won't have a boyfriend and you'll have to attend my funeral and be with my entire family, and then you'll scream and die. It's like a paradox or something. Everyone will scream until everyone is dead."
Merlin blinked. His boyfriend really went on the strangest tangents, sometimes. "Is everyone in your family gay, Arthur?"
"Well. There's Harry, who is so lesbian she had a mullet, her first year in college. There's Morgana, who's dating a girl. There's John, who's bisexual, I think. He has a new boyfriend, or whatever."
"Huh," Merlin said.
"I guess, I'm the only straight one. My girlfriend is brilliant. Cheekbones like none other."
Merlin bit back an insult. "We're here. 221B Baker Street."
"Lovely," Arthur replied, stepping out of the car.

Hah, that's not exactly true. Merlin should watch out - what if Arthur sees Sherlock's cheekbones and likes them more??
