Please refrain from hijacking a prompt. Hijacking may be defined as responding to a prompt by taking a portion of it and adding your own ideas about what should be added, changed or eliminated. In addition, commenting with off topic jokes or chatter.

By hijacking, the focus of the prompt can be lost, and inappropriate threads created. By doing this fillers may be discouraged which is something no one wants to experience.

If a prompt leads you to an original idea, please create your own prompt. The chatter or love posts are the proper places to share jokes or talk about prompts that have inspired you.

The Happy Couple

Before anyone starts, I’ve turned the comments off. Just in case. And if any of you are still feeling detrimental aftereffects of the ‘Lestrade Syndrome,’ I strongly suggest you seek professional help.

Anyway, the happy couple. They are just that. I’d never have suspected either of them, but it turns out Sherlock’s been daydreaming since before Greg’s divorce (that’s his name, for those who were wondering), and Greg- well if wielding a sword to get through crowds of Lestradesexuals doesn’t show his commitment, then I don’t know what would.

And no, they are not considering threesomes. Not even with you, Jack.

Sherlock would like to say he doesn’t daydream. Because that would be idiotic or something. Greg’s laughing at him (he moved in after their holiday while things were getting cleared up here- Sussex, for those who asked- on the proviso that Sherlock doesn’t keep his more gory/dangerous experiments in the bedroom. So far so good with that one, or Greg’s happy enough not to care).

Now that they’re together, it’s much quieter here, and Greg’s been able to get back to work- he said it was a bit awkward on the first day, but people seem to have realised he’s well and truly taken (if that first kiss didn’t confirm it… And, no Jack. They won’t share.)

So, there we have it, the universe saved with one kiss. Or so I’m told. And a lack of tissues anywhere.

Thus life went back to what passed for normal. The gossip got round, the usual routes. Lestrade was looking happy, content. Sherlock had developed a soft smile reserved for his partner. They were smitten, in love, happy with each other and definitely bickered like an old married couple at crime scenes.

Emergency Protocol Silver Fox and Emergency Protocol Silver Foxstar were removed, crowds left to all corners of existence, and various research projects sprang up in the wake of it all.

And, in time, Lestrade was most certainly taken again, in what was billed the marriage of the century. Certain civilizations even invented television for the occasion.

Word got round. Greg Lestrade is off the market.

And no, they are not considering threesomes. Not even with you, Jack.

Jack just died a little bit. Then he goes into the past to try and hook up with him when he's unattached. XD

So, there we have it, the universe saved with one kiss. Or so I’m told. And a lack of tissues anywhere.

Jack just won't stop trying. The Doctor and Gwen have to intervene. Several times. Probably threaten to introduce him to Nanny Ogg.

Sherlock made it absaloutely clear at the wedding that Lestrade was marrying him. But with all clothes on, because naked Lestrade is for his eyes only now. (And billions of wishes that the wedding wouldn't go ahead were crushed...).

(Mr C. is at the moment just Mr C, who has his eye set on someone other than Lestrade and is safe to be in the same room as him... I'm not entirely sure how it would fit with the series, so... Although this is completely AU. Anyway.)
