+Anon posting is most definitely allowed, but not required.
+All kinds of fills are accepted! Fic, art, vids, cosplay, interpretive dance--whatever. Go wild! :D
+Keep things neat! Read prompts before you post to see if something similar has already been done, and while you are encouraged to prompt as much as you like, try to fill as well.
+Please do not re-post prompts unless the last time they were prompted was on an older part. Simply put: ONE posting of each prompt per part.
+RPF (real person fic, i.e. fic involving the actors themselves) is not supported at this meme.
+Depending on the rate of activity, there may or may not be a prompt freeze when a part reaches 2000 and 4500 comments.
+However, there will be one when it reaches 7000. Also at 7000, after the freeze a new part will be posted, and all prompting should happen on the new part.

+re: hijacking.

Please refrain from hijacking a prompt. Hijacking may be defined as responding to a prompt by taking a portion of it and adding your own ideas about what should be added, changed or eliminated. In addition, commenting with off topic jokes or chatter.

By hijacking, the focus of the prompt can be lost, and inappropriate threads created. By doing this fillers may be discouraged which is something no one wants to experience.

If a prompt leads you to an original idea, please create your own prompt. The chatter or love posts are the proper places to share jokes or talk about prompts that have inspired you.

"I don't have friends. I just got one."

John stood there awkwardly, not sure how to respond to that. On one hand this might be part of the act. He's known Sherlock to be a good actor and he could possibly be just saying all this to get on his good side again. On the other hand what if he really meant it...? It wouldn't seem right to just walk away after Sherlock just shared something personal. For Sherlock to do something like that would take a lot of effort given how he hates sentiment. It would be even worse if John just took that very effort and feelings that Sherlock exposed openly to him and threw it back in his face.

He knew this part was important but that nagging doubt of Sherlock only saying this...

John cannot accept a false apology but what if it really were genuine? So far both of them have only been staring at each other wordlessly. Nervously.

John decided to test something and stepped forward. Gazing at Sherlock's slight uneasy and confused expression, John slowly reached out and took hold of Sherlock's wrist as an act of understanding. Forgiveness.

But as he did so he placed his finger on Sherlock's pulse. Sherlock might be able to fool him but even he couldn't control his actual emotions. Given what he witnessed yesterday it would be safe to say that Sherlock's body will betray anything that he's trying to hide.

The pulse was strong and fast. In fact it was racing. Did it happen as soon as he touched him or was it like this before? He stared at Sherlock's face to see if there was any change. None.

At least not his face. Yet John couldn't help thinking he saw something in his eyes.

John let go of Sherlock's wrists and, ignoring Sherlock's sudden hard gaze, turned around. At least he knew something was happening to Sherlock's emotions so he may as well have just said the truth. He could feel eyes staring hard at him from the back. Sherlock seemed to have known what John was doing when he took his wrist. Did Sherlock do something like this before himself or was he really that good at figuring him out?

It didn't matter. Sherlock had meant what he said and that was good enough.

"Right..."

For now, he thought to himself as he walked away.
