John has a great step/half brother, but sees him rarely. Jim loves his little Johnny. John's dad has lots of gambling debts, and is an awful drunk. He gets violent and mean. John is good at hiding it all, and good at hiding how dad pays off his debts through letting people touch poor Johnny. Jim is not pleased. How dare someone touch what is his? John just wants Jim to love him, but is scared he will think him dirty. Jim shows him how wrong he is.
