Prompting Part XXXVI

GUIDELINES

  • Anon posting is not required, but most definitely allowed. If you think you recognise an anon, keep it to yourself and don’t out them. IP tracking is off, and will remain that way.

  • Multiple fills are encouraged, and all kinds of fills are accepted! Fic, art, vids, cosplay, interpretive dance — whatever. Go wild! :D

  • Please do not re-post prompts unless the last time they were prompted was on an older part. Simply put: ONE posting of each prompt per part.

  • RPF (real person fic, i.e. fic involving the actors themselves) is not supported at this meme.

  • Concrit is welcome, but kinkshaming, hijacking, and flaming are not tolerated.

THE FILLED PROMPTS POST
When you fill a prompt, please use the appropriate Filled Prompts Post to archive your fill (there are instructions on the actual post).

If the part you wanted isn't up yet, just wait and one of the archivists will get to it, but please, once it is up, make sure you post your fills there according to the guidelines. DO NOT skip out on doing this because it seems like too much effort. If you want your fill to make it to the Delicious archive, that’s the way to do it.

Do not be afraid to ask questions about how it works if you are confused! The mods will be happy to explain.

WARNINGS/OFFENSIVE WORDING IN PROMPTS
Please consider warning for prompts that may trigger people (and also for fills, because some people read in flat view) and phrasing prompts in a manner that strives to be respectful.

Things which you might want to consider warning for include: Rape/Non-Con, Death, Suicidal Thoughts, Self-Harm, Underage Relationships, among others.

That being said, this is a kink meme. As such, there will be prompts that could offend you in a number of different ways. Not every prompt will have a trigger warning, and not every prompt will rub you the right way. If you have an issue with a specific prompt, feel free to bring it up in a discussion that takes place off the meme. However, flaming will not be tolerated regardless of origin.

You are highly encouraged to scroll past any prompt that you dislike.

Remember: be civil, be friendly, but don’t be shy!

THINGS THAT MAKE BROWSING THE MEME EASIER FOR EVERYONE
Please nest your fills. Doing so will make it easier for archivists to save your fills to the Delicious archive. Using subject lines will also help people reading the meme in flatview keep track of what’s happening. Finally, titling your fills (even if it’s something silly) will be helpful to those tracking a lot of prompts or scrolling through the meme.

PROMPT FREEZES
Depending on the rate of activity, there may or may not be a prompt freeze when a part reaches 2000 and 4500 comments. However, there will be one when it reaches 7000. After the 7000 comments freeze, a new part will be posted, and all prompting should happen on the new part.

Moriarty/anderson

(Anonymous) 2015-02-10 02:39 am (UTC)(link)
Moriarty decides to try to catch Sherlock's attention by offing someone Sherlock hates for him- but upon seeing, and then speaking to, Anderson he realizes he actually quite likes him. Instead of killing him, he asks him out.

(After all, if moriarty is sherlock's opposite, wouldn't he perhaps like someone who sherlock dislikes? And vice versa.)

H/C MorMor, noncon tw

(Anonymous) 2015-02-10 02:42 am (UTC)(link)
Moriarty spends 6 weeks in jail, in canon. He's also screwed over a lot of criminals and likely made enemies. Combined with his slight build and pretty face, well....

Before going to find Sherlock, the first place Moriarty goes on getting out of prison is to Sebastien. Sebastien helps comfort him / helps him feel safe again after his experiences in prison.

(captcha says 'NO MEANS NO'- that seems fitting. Poor Moriarty.)

Sheriarty - Sadist!Sherlock with a guilty conscience

(Anonymous) 2015-02-10 02:47 am (UTC)(link)
Sherlock has some desires he's embarassed to admit. He certainly can't share them with his John. Moriarty, being observant, has figured this out and uses it to taunt Sherlock through text. He lures Sherlock into accepting him as the outlet for those desires, first through sexting, then phone calls, and at last in person. Perhaps this is what Moriarty meant when he threatened to burn the heart out of him- Sherlock is convinced if John knew, he would never look at him the same again.

+ If Sherlock doesn't care about humiliation etc, disappointing Moriarty, who loves that sort of play, but is faced with a Sherlock who just likes inflicting pain.
+ If John would indeed be horrified or otherwise unwilling to accept Sherlock's extreme kink.
++++++ If Mycroft is somehow part of the solution / gets Sherlock out of MOriarty's clutches.

I Need A Reason To Cry

(Anonymous) 2015-02-10 02:59 am (UTC)(link)
I need angst-ridden, tear-jerker, crush my heart sadness. John/Sherlock songfic...

Rascal Flatts - What Hurts The Most

Sherlock POV based around their time in the lab just before The Fall and can go into his time away or even into The Return when Sherlock realizes that he's lost any chance he may have had with John now that Mary is in the picture.

Bonus points for happily ever after if you can finagle it in there, but I want to hurt before I feel better.

Sherlock/Mycroft, painplay

(Anonymous) 2015-02-10 03:25 am (UTC)(link)
I need this like burning. And come on, it's basically canon- the scene in TEH which Mycroft watches Sherlock getting beaten with a lot more enjoyment than he should, and the scene in HLV when Sherlock shoves Mycroft up against a wall and twists his arm behind his back. Guh.

Give me anything with the two of them engaging in pain play. I don't care if one or both is the hurt-er or the hurt-ee or both.

+ if Mycroft is the one taking the worst of it, because his wince while he tries to be stoic in canon was just. oh my god.
++ Sherlock likes to inflict damage personally, with his own hands, while Mycroft prefers to have someone else do it so he can watch (3some maybe, if Mycroft wants someone else to be the one causing Sherlock pain?)
+++++ If this is what gets them off, so there's no actual sex involved.

John/Mycroft - danger

(Anonymous) 2015-02-10 03:28 am (UTC)(link)
John is turned on by danger. Mycroft is a very dangerous man.

And, as it turns out, one who is glad to help John explore some less vanilla ideas, and pulls him into a world of kink John could never have imagined.

CAM/Mycroft - the best laid plans, noncon tw

(Anonymous) 2015-02-10 03:33 am (UTC)(link)
Magnussen's plan to tear down Mycroft's control and feeling of security and own him doesn't go as planned. He does succeed in essentially taking Mycroft hostage (perhaps by threatening/having evidence that could harm Sherlock?). And he does leverage his advantage to force Mycroft to have sex with him. But despite his best efforts to use all the information he has on the man, to try to tear him down with carefully chosen comments or with how he touches him, it doesn't work. Mycroft is able to turn the tables, and it's Magnussen who walks away from the encounter shaken. They don't call Mycroft the Iceman for nothing.

+ If Magnussen thinks that being gentle and requiring Mycroft to participate actively will be what breaks him down- and it doesn't at all
++ If Mycroft actually is a bit shaken as well, but able not to express it until Magnussen leaves

noncon warning

(Anonymous) 2015-02-10 03:37 am (UTC)(link)
Sherlock and Mycroft seem to have a sort of banter/competition going on, but Sherlock looked genuinely upset in TEH when he accused Mycroft of enjoying seeing him being whipped and tortured. So while Sherlock's certainly resilient, maybe the idea that someone who cares for and is supposed to protect him might enjoy seeing him in unwanted, unconsensual pain, is very hard to deal with.

Unfortunately for Sherlock, he's held captive by another baddie, with Mycroft present/a captive as well if you'd like. Either way, this time the torture goes beyond physical abuse, and if Sherlock felt upset/embarassed before,he now feels entirely helpless/betrayed.

Up to you if Mycroft was unable to help / a prisoner, or if he's Dark!Evil!Mycroft and was in on it / set Sherlock up for this.

Mycroft is literally an iceman- cracky prompt

(Anonymous) 2015-02-10 03:44 am (UTC)(link)
Mycroft has ice powers, literal ones. Think Elsa from Frozen powers. And the rift between him and Sherlock? Has a lot to do with what Myrcroft had to do to keep his powers secret/unseen by Sherlock after an accident with them nearly killed his younger brother.

OT3 How It Works

Any three of these characters

Sherlock
Mycroft
Mary
John
Lestrade

with author pic on who identifies as one of these three

Panromantic Asexual
Pansexual
Transgender Bisexual

Re: OT3 How It Works

(Anonymous) 2015-02-10 03:53 am (UTC)(link)
what would be interesting is sherlock/john/mary where mary is pansexual, sherlock in panromantic asexual and john is transgender ftm bisexual so john and mary get married, sherlock offers sperm for artificial insemination and that's how mary winds up pregnant and they all three love each other to bits n pieces and it just works for them.

LESTRADE: THE MUSICAL

(Anonymous) 2015-02-10 09:15 am (UTC)(link)
Lestrade gets a head injury during a case, and suddenly he perceives everything anyone says around him as a catchy musical number complete with choreography. He can't let that get in the way of finishing the case and keeping the peace between Sherlock and Scotland Yard though, so he doesn't tell anyone and tries to carry on as normal.

inspired by that episode of that US hospital sitcom, and all of the series Blackpool

Lestrade's whump holiday.

(Anonymous) 2015-02-10 09:22 am (UTC)(link)
Lestrade takes a vacation, but instead of the amazing deal on a package holiday he thought he'd got, he is picked up at the airport by the 'hotel taxi', then robbed, tortured and beaten horribly and eventually left for dead in a ditch.

Sherlock either suspected something was off about the holiday from the start, or more likely gets frustrated with the covering DI and calls Lestrade's hotel to rant at him for taking time off and finds out then the hotel doesn't exist. Sherlock (and whoever else you'd like) mount a rescue mission.

Eventual johnlock 50shades of grey abusive relationship and noncon

(Anonymous) 2015-02-10 08:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Sherlock meets someone who stimulates Sherlock intellectually. Is charming, attractive and overall Sherlock is impressed as well as uncomfortable.

But this person presses on and pretty much corners Sherlock into intimacy. Sherlock goes along until sex and he is quite alarmed, and says no and tries to stop it but this person just holds Sherlock down and threatens Sherlock (maybe with John). He forces Sherlock to arousal and orgasm and also does his thing.

Later at home, Sherlock is shaken and feeling quite ill at it but at the same time he thinks he feels excited and that he liked it because he orgasmed pretty damn hard.

Eventually John starts to worry because every time Sherlock comes back, Sherlock is very shaken and protective of himself and when it's time to meet this person, Sherlock becomes anxious and timid. It's only so many times Sherlock can claim he's nervous and excited before John stops believing it.

Sherlock does not see the abuse and he's appalled when it's suggested.

Absolutely seconded.

Lestrade knows everything about Mary

[identity profile] andrea-deer.livejournal.com 2015-02-10 10:33 pm (UTC)(link)
John didn't want to read the files on the flashdrive, but he didn't want to go into this marriage completely blind (again). A third person reading it and just telling him how dangerous mess he gets himself into sounded like the only solution, but Sherlock was too involved and John doesn't trust all that many people.

Bonus points if it was Sherlock who suggested Lestrade.

Double bonus points if in some way it started Lestrade&Mary friendship, because she deeply appreciated John's gesture, but she also loves that there is someone who knows.

Triple bonus points if Lestrade was a perfect candidate, because if the information would've been too dangerous he would tell Mycroft without hesistation.

Dark!John, Dark!Mary. Working for Moriarty the whole time. Possible unrequited John/Sherlock.

(Anonymous) 2015-02-10 10:58 pm (UTC)(link)
John has been working for Moriarty the whole time (absolutely willingly, please, without any abuse towards John, or anything of that sort!). Maybe he was Sebastian's captain in Afghanistan, and Sebastian still obeys him.

Jim needs to get a bit closer to Mycroft and a bit of spying, so he gives John a mission to get close to Sherlock. The first encounter with Sherlock is set up (maybe Mike is in it, too). Bonus if Sherlock falls in love with John. John can be sincerely protective of Sherlock; after all, Sherlock is his mission.

Later, after Sherlock's fake suicide, Jim sends John one of his assassins (Mary), as a present (well, sort of. Mary doesn't object), so John won't get bored, while his plaything (Sherlock) is away. I.e. John knows Sherlock is alive. Mary can actually become John's girlfriend and fiancée. Or maybe they are just friends pretending to be a couple.

Meanwhile, Sherlock isn't busy destroying Moriarty's web, no. Unknowingly, he destroys Moriarty's rival gangs instead, and Moriarty throws him some fake information the whole time.

When later the truth about John is out, Sherlock's heart shatters.

Please, no insanely evil John. He's dark, but not psychotic. I also prefer no bad endings for John or Mary.

Food issues

(Anonymous) 2015-02-11 12:46 am (UTC)(link)
Sherlock and Mycroft both have food issues because their parents literally starved them when they were children, as a punishment whenever they did something their parents didn't like. Mycroft reacted by becoming the perfect little child, ultimately gaining quite a bit of weight. Sherlock declared he didn't need food anyway and actually was hospitalized a few times.

Eventually they managed to get away (or grew up enough to move out), but it stuck with them. Neither of them have a healthy relationship with food and both of them know that the other is the only person in the world who knows why.

++ Mycroft is/was bulemic
+++ Sherlock's comments on Mycroft's weight are actually much crueler than anyone realizes, because he's referencing times Mycroft "gave in" to their parents' wishes when Sherlock resisted

CAM being a shit. noncon tw?

(Anonymous) 2015-02-11 02:12 am (UTC)(link)
Sherlock offers Mycroft to CAM. But CAM doesn't want information on Mycroft- he actually wants Mycroft, in the flesh, to touch and... do other things with.

Up to you if Sherlock expected that or not, and whether he agrees or tries to protect his brother.

MorMor, Cuteness and public sex

(Anonymous) 2015-02-11 02:13 am (UTC)(link)
Moriarty and Moran gleefully having wonderful sex in more and more public places. For Moran, the risk of getting caught is the thrill. For Moriarty, it's the idea that people could be watching and enjoying it- he wants to get caught. And maybe invite any watchers to join them.

Consensual and fluffy (if possible with these two), please!

Mycroft angst, reprompt

(Anonymous) 2015-02-11 02:16 am (UTC)(link)
For some reason, Mycroft has always been scared that Sherlock would kill himself.

I want a story from Mycroft's POV where his whole world comes to a screeching halt the night Sherlock and he talk about Sherlock's plan to "commit suicide" and Mycroft's role in it.

It freaks Mycroft out talking about it even though he knows it isn't real.

Past rape, abo soulmate, Sherlock tries to suppress and reject his transition

(Anonymous) 2015-02-11 04:48 am (UTC)(link)
Everyone is a beta until they meet their soulmate.

Sherlock was content being a beta. One reason why is that a long time ago, he was attached by an alpha and raped. Not only that, the alpha forced Sherlock to take his knot which is actually rarely done outside a bonded pair as it is both physically and mentally difficult thing to take a knot.

But after Sherlock meets John and realises his transition is starting, he freaks the fuck out. Not knowing if he will become an alpha or the omega, Sherlock tries to suppress the transition from the onset because there's absolutely no fucking way he will go through the torment.

Time passes and It becomes clear that John is transitioning into an alpha and it hurts him to see that he is unable to protect or comfort his omega. It's very devastating to the both of them as Sherlock struggles to come to terms with his transition.

They don't have sex following the transition which has health and mental consequences and they have yet to complete the bond. When they finally have sex for the first time, John doesn't make Sherlock take his knot as he knows Sherlock isn't ready for that. While it hurts him, John would do anything to protect Sherlock, even from himself. When Sherlock finally does take Johns knot, it's a massive and heart breaking struggle.

John/mary/sherlock edging, orgasm denial, sounding, forced orgasm

(Anonymous) 2015-02-11 04:54 am (UTC)(link)
Mary edging Sherlock and denying him using direct prostate and penile stimulation but also not allowing Sherlock to orgasm by sounding.
Sherlock does not beg but it goes on for so long, he manages to orgasm with the sound still inserted. Ouch.

Meanwhile John edges Mary.

Sherlock/Mycroft fluff

(Anonymous) 2015-02-11 09:34 am (UTC)(link)
One day, Mycroft just snaps. He hates his body, he hates that it cannot be like his perfect brain, and he decides to end the diet that didn't work and instead just stops eating altogether.

When Mycroft passes out, Anthea calls Sherlock to handle him, and Sherlock starts feeding Mycroft who is initially resistant. Sherlock gets upset at Mycroft being so troublesome and idiotic (that's his job!), but then...

He realises what is the matter. Sherlock never knew all of his teases really got to him and only fed (no pun intended) what Mycroft was already thinking, and so Sherlock makes up for it by kissing ever part of Mycroft's body, and Mycroft is severely uncomfortable with it, but he lets him.

It doesn't cure overnight, but Sherlock starts giving Mycroft physical comfort, and they go out to dinner together, and Sherlock tracks everything Mycroft eats with precision and care.

Lestrade/Mycroft. Mycroft talks in his sleep and reveals top secret information.

(Anonymous) 2015-02-11 09:55 am (UTC)(link)
Mycroft and Greg get together. When they start sleeping together, Greg learns that not only Mycroft talks in his sleep, but he also reveals a lot of super-secret information night after night. Greg doesn't want to upset Mycroft, so he doesn't tell him and just ignores him talking (or changes his position a bit, for example, and Mycroft stops talking).

They've been in a relationship for some time, but something doesn't work and Mycroft, assured that it's not his thing at all, as he's always thought before, decides that they've got to break up.

Greg doesn't give up and tries to fix things between them. When Mycroft asks why Greg is so determined to make it work, Greg says that if wrong people will get to Mycroft after him, they are going to learn things that can destroy not only Mycroft, but the whole country (or several countries), because Mycroft talks in his sleep, and if Greg is there, he won't let it happen. Well, this and Greg is in love with him.

Mycroft is appalled.

People are disappointed in Sherlock.

(Anonymous) 2015-02-11 09:01 pm (UTC)(link)
John's blog is extremely popular and has many followers, even though John stops writing after Sherlock's "death".

But, when it turns out Sherlock is alive, the majority of fans get seriously disappointed in him for doing it to John. They are just disenchanted and hope that John will permanently leave Sherlock behind, because John deserves better.

They are no longer interested in Sherlock's adventures.

Bonus points for already insecure Sherlock (who can be secretly(?) in love with John), whose self-esteem suffers a bit more when he learns that people despise him.

Mycroft says: "Flat tire". Can't agree more.

Re: People are disappointed in Sherlock.

(Anonymous) 2015-02-11 09:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Sorry, I have to add: Sherlock becomes even more insecure not really because plenty of strangers despise him, but because they know that he's not good for John, and John should throw him out of his life for good and never forgive him.
