GUIDELINES

Anon posting is not required, but most definitely allowed. If you think you recognise an anon, keep it to yourself and don’t out them. IP tracking is off, and will remain that way.

Multiple fills are encouraged, and all kinds of fills are accepted! Fic, art, vids, cosplay, interpretive dance — whatever. Go wild! :D

Don’t reprompt until TWO parts after the last posting of the prompt.

RPF (real person fic, i.e. fic involving the actors themselves) is not supported at this meme.

Concrit is welcome, but kinkshaming, hijacking, and flaming are not tolerated.

If the part you wanted isn't up yet, just wait and one of the archivists will get to it, but please, once it is up, make sure you post your fills there according to the guidelines. DO NOT skip out on doing this because it seems like too much effort. If you want your fill to make it to the Delicious archive, that’s the way to do it.

Do not be afraid to ask questions about how it works if you are confused! The mods will be happy to explain.

WARNINGS/OFFENSIVE WORDING IN PROMPTS
Please consider warning for prompts that may trigger people (and also for fills, because some people read in flat view) and phrasing prompts in a manner that strives to be respectful.

Things which you might want to consider warning for include: Rape/Non-Con, Death, Suicidal Thoughts, Self-Harm, Underage Relationships, among others.

That being said, this is a kink meme. As such, there will be prompts that could offend you in a number of different ways. Not every prompt will have a trigger warning, and not every prompt will rub you the right way. If you have an issue with a specific prompt, feel free to bring it up in a discussion that takes place off the meme. However, flaming will not be tolerated regardless of origin.

His childhood was privileged but there comes a time when over indulgence darkens, becomes rotten, turns on itself so that boredom sinks deep into the veins and one must seek new highs.

Sherlock and Mycroft both had ‘things’ as children. All the latest toys and gadgets that money could buy. When he was very young it brought him a popularity that withered once he reached teenage years but to a young child his house used to be something at which to marvel. Vast, large, modern and filled with all that the heart desired.

Sherlock Holmes was ruined with kindness. He was ruined with the best of everything and by the time he was 15 and already had completed and passed the examinations his classmates were not yet old enough to sit, there was nothing for him to aspire to. Sherlock had almost everything.

He was the star pupil who could well outsmart the teachers, he was the boy who had the best that money and academia could attain. He didn’t have friends, but he had told himself years before that it wasn’t necessary, that he didn’t need them. Indeed, their incessant chatter, their ridiculous hopes and aspirations were so alien to him, so farfetched and immature that he couldn’t relate even if he wanted to. What made Alex Johnson, the stupidest child in the class thing he was going to be a Pilot? What made Amy Smith think that sleeping with every boy in the 6th Form would ever get her the attention from her Daddy that she so craved. She didn’t see it, they couldn’t see it. None of them could. Their empty, dull brains left them always a step behind. How he loathed them at times. How he wished to escape.

The first time he felt the warm flush of intoxication take over his system he had escaped and it was such a beautiful and sweet escape. At once he was relieved of the constant burden of his observations. His mind was finally silenced from its critique. Nothing mattered, but sweet, soft oblivion. He would never attain that first moment again, but he would always chase. Always crave it.

That was when, this was now. He closed his painfully sore eyes. This was not for him. Sherlock Holmes was not born into this life. He chose it. Those less fortunate were handed their destiny on a plate. It was written in the stars and they all had a similar story. He had tried to tell them he was called ‘Shezza’ but they had laughed. Instead they named him Tory boy and he was, no denying it, with the softness of his voice, with the manner in which he spoke and his clear stated grammar.

‘I am waiting’ he said to nobody in particular.
‘Who you waiting for Tory boy?’
‘I am waiting’ he repeated as he shivered in response to the dampness of the dingy room.

‘Waiting for your next hit mate? We all are but he’ll be here soon. Have you got enough cash?’

Sherlock stayed silent. They didn’t understand. It was John he was waiting for.

Oooh, I already love this.
