John and Sherlock have been a couple for a while now, and John finds out that Sherlock hasn't even told his parents. Seeing that John is annoyed, Sherlock texts them saying 'Dating John now. Yes, we are having sex. No, I'm not taking drugs and no, we don't want to come to dinner.'

Of course, John doesn't know this, and a few days later while at work, gets a phone call from Mrs. Holmes, asking if he can meet them for dinner at their house. He agrees of course, and goes to meet them.

He gets there, only to find out Sherlock has no idea he is there and no intention of turning up.

John gets to know a little about Sherlock through his parents, and a good old fashion interigation.
