Inspired by a prompt a few pages back. In an experiment gone wrong, Sherlock ends up with two severely burned hands (perhaps he spilt chemicals on them? the exact conditions are up to the filler). Frustratingly, this means he will be unable to use them until they heal. Not only does this mean no cases for a bit, but he also requires help with the most mundane tasks. John is kind enough to help him, but still can't resist the occasional "I told you this would happen if you.." remarks, especially when Sherlock is being extremely difficult. But he's most difficult when John is helping him eat. It's absolutely embarrassing to have John feed him. John picks up on his embarrassment but thinks it's actually pretty cute.
