I end up reading a lot of text posts (and making quite a few as well). That's where most of my discussion takes place. But it's a very small group of people who want to discuss, not just reblog pretty pictures all the time.

Tumblr's had some pretty heated arguments about that Moffat interview over the past few days. Discussion does happen.

And like someone above said, information gets around fast on tumblr. I'm always up-to-date on fandom things. And sometimes not-fandom things.
