I just posted this above, but apparently, it bares repeating:

THIS

Why does it matter more, what Moffat - troll extraordinaire - labels Sherlock as in a stupid interview, than how Sherlock is characterised in the series?

Also, I love that gif to bits.

There is trolling and there is foot-in-mouth syndrome that fans are ready to forgive at any time in the name of ~trolling~.
I'm starting to think it's the latter to be honest.

^^Anon with the gif

The only thing that Moff has said lately that has any evidence behind it is "We deliberately lie, we deliberately confuse in order to keep you in the dark about our intentions.”

I feel this should be posted on TUMBLR homepage or something. People keep getting their undies in a twist.

I just remember when he called Rose a "clingy girlfriend". The man cannot express himself properly in interviews, and it is hilarious.

I reckon he got that one spot on.

Now I do like Rose but she was a 'clingy girlfriend'.

Admittedly, later on she really was.

I don't know, I'm actually more willing to forgive foot-in-mouth than trolling. Some people just can't deal with interviews. But I find it hilarious how he's always coming up with some new shit when asked about Sherlock's sexuality. I mean, the way Scandal was written, the whole point was that Sherlock wasn't attracted to Irene (in *that* way, I might add). And now he tells people that Sherlock was ruthlessly suppressing his lustful desires in that lovely scene by the fireplace? And that, being able to do that, he can't be gay, because with all that self-control he couldn't keep his hands from John? (I mean, yeah, it's John, that temptation could break the strongest, but really?)
