Oh the old system is completely entrenched. It's the entertainment equivalent of Big Oil. It will eventually change. They'll have to start working on more sensible options that fit the way the world is today, rather than the way the world was in the fifties. They won't have an option.

I feel like finding some independent filmmakers on Kickstarter or whatever and donating them the amount of money I would pay a month to have legal instant international access to movies and TV series airing in any country. If the media companies aren't going to be sensible and understand the need to change with the times, then it's time to start supporting projects that are supported and created outside the network and studio system.

i only download when i can't get the show/movie on netlfix streaming and that isn't much these days.
