No real directions, but this isn't a place for debate. It's a place for RANTIN' AND RAVIN'.
There is a rule: There is to be no calling out anyone by name in Rants, Chatter, or on the Meme itself. This only produces an atmosphere of animosity and it is no longer tolerated. If you see any names being ranted about, please link us at Page-A-Mod. Thanks! :)

Re: spoilers for Reichenbach
(Anonymous) 2012-01-16 04:18 pm (UTC)(link)My guess is that the body that hit the pavement wasn't Sherlock. Sherlock jumped, having trusted to Molly to organise...a net? Not so likely to slow him if it's as fine as it must have been for Moriarty and passers-by to not notice it. Or maybe...I heard someone mention a rubbish lorry somewhere on a different comm. I'd have to watch again, but if it was a open-topped truck full of cardboard boxes or similar, that could well act as a good cushion (I think I remember an ep of Mythbusters where they were trying different alternatives out). So Sherlock jumps into the lorry, which then drives on, and meanwhile, Molly drops a corpse in Sherlock clothing and made up to look like him, out of the window to get good impact injuries?
Bottom line, whatever exact technique they used, I'm thoroughly convinced that Molly is the only reason that Sherlock was able to put a plan in place to survive rather than have to go through it for real with no way out.

(Anonymous) 2012-01-16 05:28 pm (UTC)(link)Interestingly enough, it drives off right after John is hit by the bicycle, just as people are starting to gather around the corpse — why? Someone's just jumped off a building right next to your lorry, you don't just drive off like nothing's happened. And when it drives away, the shot is taken from the sky and cuts most of it off, so we can't see what or who might be hiding in it.
