I never cry before tv shows, but for this one? Damnit, my heart aches D:

Martin Freeman, why you gotta act so well. John is too broken. Put him back together again!!

Also : Mycroft, you're really an idiot. You're supposed to be even more clever than Sherlock. The fuck did you think you were doing. Seriously.
That was so weird and fucked up of him, I'm beginning to think he revealed all those things about Sherlock on purpose... because how hard is it to just make shit up? Can't he lie? Or realise there's no code?!

With regards to Mycroft, I got the horrible feeling that he knew exactly what he was doing but did it anyway because he could rationalise that information on Moriarty was worth more than his brother's safety.

Which... makes me sad but I'm not surprised.

okay, now that makes a lot of sense.

Glad I'm not the only one disappointed in Mycroft. He failed in both his capacity as a servant of the government and a brother.

I wonder if Sherlock's going enlist Mycroft's help during the hiatus? Their relationship in BBC!verse is so much more rocky than in ACD!verse...

I don't want him to!

I want Mycroft to live with the guilt, knowing he fucked up, realizing that Moriarty's game had nothing to do with national security and everything to do with Sherlock.

Goodness, gracious, it's like I've got a personal vendetta or something.

Based on what we've seen of the last five minutes of the episode and the sheer fact that Sherlock probably wouldn't trust him in this adaptation, I highly doubt that Mycroft even knows that his brother is still alive. I think the secret keeper role in the show has been given away to Molly. She does work in a morgue, after all, and would have to be the one confirming his death…
