In the Baskerville lab Sherlock meets somebody he hasn't seen in years: Victor Trevor-Frankenstein. Sherlock asks a few questions to his old friend/ex lover/whatever you prefer, hoping to know more about Baskerville. But Victor, while greeting Sherlock happily, doesn't want to tell anything about what his experiments are all about.
What could happen: - the hound doesn't exist, exactly like in the episode, but there is a monster: Victor's man-like Creature - the hound exists: it's Victor's Creature, a dog-like beast that went wild and escaped because Victor couldn't control it - the hound exists: it's Victor's second experiment, an animal companion for his first creation, the man-like Creature he kept locked in his lab until they both escaped - whatever other outcome you can possibly think of
