I... don't think that's OOC, actually. I mean, there are a few scenes where she loses her confidence, especially towards the end, when she's defeated (the scene at the end, in Mycroft's flat) -- and Sherlock's the one who's in control in these scenes, and the one who makes her vulnerable, so. :)

Also, Irene's supposed to be Sherlock's female counterpart, right? I think if Sherlock weren't asexual, he might totally be a dom.
