After the fall, Lestrade feels responsible, becomes depressed, becomes withdrawn, won’t go to the Yard, won’t answer his phone or leave his flat. He won’t talk to John or any of the Yarders, so John and Sally ask Molly to check in on him. Molly finds him in his flat, suicidal and entering a psychotic break. Molly takes care of Lestrade, pulling him back from the edge.
