Thank you for the interest and the encouragement! I think my fledgling fic woulda died on the vine if I didn't know someone else was interested in such things. Oddly enough, I found the fic that I was inspired by some 30 odd years ago ! ( and it was very different from how I remembered it...just the slave trade bit).
