So John and Sherlock are finally together, and John makes the mistake of telling Harry. Who is ridiculously thrilled for him. So thrilled, she decides to organize a big "coming out" party for him, since he missed out on all the fun she had (maybe she had a bunch of supportive lesbian friends?)
Anyway, she gets Sherlock's help, and manages to convince him that guys like John - newly arrived at being "gay" - all want social recognition for it. Maybe Sherlock is just super-proud that John chose him?
Whatever happens, John comes home from work one day to find EVERYONE at the flat, bells and whistles, the works. And Sherlock is so excited to have surprised him. Except John wasn't really ready to be OUT out, not really, not to all his army mates or coworkers or whatever, and he's furious but trying not to be too hard on Harry or Sherlock because they're just so darn excited for him . . .
