John is just as intelligent as Sherlock. In different subjects of study maybe (physics, trajectory, militarist tactics, hand-to-hand combat, arms and weaponry, advanced nuclear fusion go nuts) but just as smart... when hopped up on adrenalin that is.

I just wanna see a situation where we see cuddly, normal John and then something awesome/terrible happens and suddenly John's rattling off the forces needed to snap someone's neck.
