OP: he's afraid of being forced anyway, yup. So Sherlock does want sex and maybe they do have sex, but not as often as Sherlock wants to because he's making himself refrain out of fear that things will get out of hand further down the track. Or something. I dunno, however the author would like to spin it. =)
