Sherlock Centric, Shattered Personality

Every person in Sherlock's mind palace represents a fragment of his personality. If they were important enough to cement a place inside his head, they were important enough to mold him in some way.

Jim was there. Jim was there from the start, from the crazy cabbie in 'A Study in Pink'. He's been taking shape since then, finally coming to full form when they met face-to-face at the end of S1.

But now, Jim is dead. That part of Sherlock's personality shatters. What does this do to him? How does this shape S3?
