GUIDELINES

Anon posting is not required, but most definitely allowed. If you think you recognise an anon, keep it to yourself and don’t out them. IP tracking is off, and will remain that way.

Multiple fills are encouraged, and all kinds of fills are accepted! Fic, art, vids, cosplay, interpretive dance — whatever. Go wild! :D

RPF (real person fic, i.e. fic involving the actors themselves) is not supported at this meme.

I have to say I loved this. Amazingly intimate for just breathing on skin. I love your Sherlock characterization, too! Was busy with work yesterday. Sorry for not seeing this yet!

When everyone at work received a note through their emails, no one knew what to expect. Their boss, or more precisely their boss's underling's underling, nearly never sent anything out via email. It's simply too dangerous in the (rather reticent) business they're in, emails can be traced far too easily.

The note contained a set of instructions followed by a list of codes, as shown here:

These following codes will be used in any of the ensuing instances described. Any times these are relevant and needed, alert your supervisor immediately with the codeword. These are as follows. The subject described here will be assigned to you and you will never address him by name or research his identity. All employees will henceforth monitor the subject via CCTV.

Code S Blue – Subject has been kidnapped and is being held in an area inside the country, include details and location.

Code S Orange – Subject has left or is attempting to leave the country.

Code S Black – Subject has been seen with illicit substances and intoxicants on his person.

Code S Brown – Subject has obtained an illegal firearm and is currently equipped with it.

Code S Green – Subject has failed to return to his place of dwelling with no other information known as to his whereabouts.

Code S Red – Subject has used a specific, high-ranking identification (details to follow) to gain access to a restricted area/database.

Code S Crimson – Subject is wholly responsible for the death of an individual or individuals, include details.

Code S Yellow – Subject has been injured and transported to a medical facility, include specifics.

I had the weirdest dream that I was in love with a guy last night, and the one sentence that made me really happy with it was this:

"And now you kiss me."

in which there was shirt-grabbing and a chaste little kiss (which can be reflected in the story if you like!) It was all very fluffy happy for a dream until I woke up.

Anyway, I would love some Sherlock/John with that line, or along the words of that line somewhere.

In ANY situation. In ANY place. So long as it's not AU it's good for me. It can be angst, fluff, whump, whatever.

So, not exactly a fill, but I'd check out 'Lovebites in the Morning, Lovebites for the Evening' by QueenieFox on ff.net, cause that sounds kind of like what you're looking for! Well, ch. 3 in particular.

In which the heater suffers from a stomachache.

John is dozing off in his armchair when a loud clatter jerks him back into consciousness. He blinks a few times and pulls his arms back into a luxurious stretch, unaware of the detective running an appreciative eye over his body. His eyebrows lower in a frown as he sits up in his seat, ears straining for another noise. He is rewarded with a metallic groan echoing from the belly of the heater, as if it's eaten something that doesn't agree with its stomach.

"Funny," the doctor says before a violent rattling ensues. It grows louder, steady in its increase in volume and slamming into his eardrums. A wince crosses his face before an abrupt hiss slices through the air, causing him to flinch. "Is that even normal?" he says, raising his voice over loud moans.

Stretched out on the couch on his back, Sherlock rolls over onto his side without a word. He curls up into himself, the curve of his spine seeming to taunt John. I can't be bothered to deal with idiots like you, it sneers. The doctor shakes his head, shooting a weak glare at his flatmate before shuffling over to the heater. He slows down as he nears it, taking hesitant steps as though the machine is a frightened animal. A metallic scent stings his nostrils, causing his nose to wrinkle.

"Do you smell that?" John questions the detective, not expecting a response. He leans closer to the heater, only to jump in surprise when it belches before falling silent. His eyes narrow at it. Stretching out a hand, he lets his fingers hover above the slits in the machine. His eyebrows lower in a frown when he feels no heat pulsing from them. He tosses a glance towards the controls. The switches have remained untouched. He blinks as the realization slaps him in the face, leaving behind stinging cheeks and slumped shoulders.

"Oh, shit," the doctor swears, resisting the urge to kick the dead machine. The only reply he receives is the rustle of fabric as Sherlock shifts around in his position. John whirls around to face his friend, his jaw clenching. "Well?" he says. "Our heater just broke." He shakes his head. His feet drag against the carpet as he trudges back to his seat. He plops into his armchair, jolting a soft grunt from his mouth. "And on one of the coldest days too!"

Sherlock twists around to shoot him a look bristling with annoyance. "Are you finished stating the obvious?" he snaps. "Or will you be our announcer for the rest of the evening?"

John stares at his friend, a scoff flying from his mouth. "Really?" he says. "Our heater broke and you're -" He slumps back in the soft cushions. His fingers pinch the bridge of his nose, hard enough for it to start throbbing in pain.

"Again, you're stating the obvious," the other male says, appearing unmoved by the fact that they have no heat.

The doctor ignores him, deciding he has better things to do than argue with his flatmate. "I'll be building a fire," he says, heaving himself up from his seat, "so we don't freeze our balls off. You interested in joining me?" He only receives a huff from the lump on the sofa. "Fine," he snaps before storming off to find a starter log for the fireplace.

The holiday party at the Yard gets out of control once a lot of the supervisors leave, and almost everyone gets smashed. Therefore, a bunch of them resort to a juvenile game of 7 minutes in heaven OR along those lines, if there's something less teenager-ish.

John and Sherlock get dragged in, and they end up in the closet, or have the bottle spun at them, whatever game it is. Whether they're both drunk or sober is up to you so long as it's consensual.

Bonus points for:
-going home and being all over each other (snogging in the cab, petting)
-waking up next to each other somewhere, regardless or not if they had sex
-being awkward (and extremely hungover if drunk) but okay with it the next morning

I may or may not fill this, depending on if you do or not. If you don't, I'll happily fill it. :)

In the heat of a moment John, looking into Sherlock's eyes, angrily/hatefully/coldly tells him that he wishes Sherlock was dead for real, it would've been better for everybody if he was. But it doesn't really matter, because Sherlock is dead for him, John, and Sherlock means nothing to him now.

Sherlock has an epic, absolutely terrible breakdown right there and then. The breakdown possibly lands him straight into a mental facility.

I don't really care if it ends well (it takes quite some time, but John and Sherlock become close again and forgive each other. Bonus for needy, clingy Sherlock, who's terrified of losing John. Lovers or just friends doesn't matter to me, but I prefer Sherlock in love with John either way), or not well at all (John abandons Sherlock for good).

If you include Mary, I prefer her not interfering with John's and Sherlock's affairs and her role in the whole story is rather implied than actual.

The angstier, the better.

6 weeks later. Things between John and Sherlock had gotten progressively better. John still slept in his room upstairs but just like he had promised, Sherlock was treated to affection daily. Instead of sitting in their retrospective chairs they would sit cuddling on the sofa while John drank tea and updated his blog and Sherlock splayed himself across John thinking over the details of whatever new or old case he found needed, arranging in his mind palaces’ storage hold.

Things were… nice.

Not even close to enough for Sherlock, by any means, but nice none the less.

On one of the quieter evenings they had experienced in, recent weeks. Sherlock decided to try his luck. Observing, John who was so avidly watching some nonsense or the other on the TV while gently carding his fingers through the detective’s hair. The doctor, looked so calm and at peace with everything, Sherlock found himself unable to stop himself from asking for more.

“John?”

“Hmm?” Came the vibrated response.

“When can we start having sex again?” The question was met by an unsteady inhalation but, very little else.

Sherlock sat up after too many seconds of tense silence had passed with no answer. “John?”

The doctor’s eyes unenthusiastically met the detectives. “You, didn’t just randomly think of this did you?”

“No, I’ve been considering this for the last 58 days.” Sherlock answered truthfully.

“Right, okay. Right.” John, ran a hand over his mouth.

“Well?” The detective needled.

“Well… I mean Sherlock, I’m not… I don’t know.” John replied hesitantly.

Sherlock, continued onwards. Ignoring the doctor’s obvious reluctance. “Why, not now?”

“Well… I mean—we haven’t—you know talked about how... that would go.” Stammered out the doctor.

The detective glared in genuine confusion. “What is there to talk about?”

John let out an exasperated huff. “Jesus, Sherlock. A hell of a lot to be fair.”

“Like?” Pried the detective, obstinately.

The doctor, dropping eye contact momentarily, answered vaguely. “Umm, I don’t know. Like…stuff.”

“Like…stuff?” Sherlock mimicked disdainfully.

“Yes! Sherlock! Like ‘stuff’. What is it you want me to say?” Came the irritated response.

Sherlock watched John closely for a moment. “I want you to tell me, when we can start having sex again.”

“Y—you can’t just drop this on me out of, nowhere.” Sighed John.

Sherlock snorted. “Hardly out of nowhere John.”

“Well it is for me!” John growled.

“Don’t you miss it?” The detective continued to quiz.

“I…”

Sherlock’s voice quietened to a more vulnerable tone as he asked. “Don’t you miss me?”

John smiled warmly at the tone. “I’m with you.”

“Not properly. Not like a couple.” Sherlock pouted.

John sat back against the arm of the sofa watching the detective closely as he crossed his arms. “So to be a couple we have to be having sex?”

“Yes—no—yes, in a way.” Sherlock internally cursed himself. ‘Trick bloody question’ the detective thought to himself.

The doctor quirked an eyebrow. “What does that mean exactly? ‘In a way’?”

“I want you back.” Huffed the detective.

“Again, you have me.” The doctor answered simply.

“I want all of you!” The detective winced. ‘Sulking, won’t work. He’s testing you. Doesn’t completely, trust you really want to. DON’T FAIL!’ Sherlock internally chided.

John narrowed his eyes minutely, in challenge. “You, have that too.”

“Stop being dense! You know full well what I’m saying.” ‘Shit’ Sherlock, growled at himself.

John sighed deeply. “Okay, okay let’s talk properly.” Sherlock huffed and rolled his eyes which made John’s mouth set into a tight line. “I’m serious Sherlock. You, want this? Then we do it properly this time. No half-arsing it! We do it safely and at a pace that works for both of us. I have to be able to bank on you. Do you understand?”

“Will you ever let that go” The detective sighed dramatically.

The doctor stared pointedly. “It was kind of a big thing.”

“Fine. Your rules.” Sherlock conceded.

“Thank you.”

“So, we can have sex now?” asked Sherlock tilting forward to kiss the doctor.

John, almost yelped at the abruptness of it. “What? No—did you—no Sherlock, not now.”

“Then when?” Sherlock grouched.

Rolling his eyes at the ridiculous man in front of him, John retorted. “Fine. Um…Thursday.”

Sherlock’s eyes went comically wide. “What? That’s 3 days from now. What’s the point of waiting another 3 days for something we could do now?”

“It’ll give us time to discuss it more, don’t look at me like that. I’m a doctor. I need for us to proceed with an air of caution.” ‘Ever the bloody doctor.’ Thought Sherlock, peevishly.

“You didn’t before and we did just fine, I don’t see—” Sherlock’s argument evaporated rapidly on his tongue as he surveyed John’s gaze hardening.

“Maybe we shouldn’t go there just yet Sherlock, I don’t believe we’re at the ‘flippant comments’ stage quite yet, do you? John scrutinized the detective with raised his eyebrows in a defiant dare for Sherlock to try him.

Sherlock swallowed deeply. “I apologise, I forget it’s a… delicate wound for you.”

“Yes, one that’s still healing. Anyway, we’ve waited 2 months. Hell, you’ve gone 19 years without! 3 days won’t hurt.” John scolded.

“But, you do miss it, yes?” Checked Sherlock.

“Yes. Sherlock, I miss it.” Sighed John.

Sherlock narrowed his eyes. “Miss it with… me?”

John frowned. “Of course. Don’t be an idiot.”

Sherlock smiled slightly. “Fine then. 3 days.”

“3 days. Now, can I finish watching this?”

“What? Oh yes, continue. I have to think anyway.” Replied Sherlock, who was already on his way into his mind palace.

“Right. Well lie down then. I’m guessing you’ll be in there for a while.” John pointed fondly at Sherlock’s head.

“Quite.” The detective answered, lastly as he prepared to spend the rest of the evening ‘thinking.’
