GUIDELINES

Anon posting is not required, but most definitely allowed. If you think you recognise an anon, keep it to yourself and don’t out them. IP tracking is off, and will remain that way.

Multiple fills are encouraged, and all kinds of fills are accepted! Fic, art, vids, cosplay, interpretive dance — whatever. Go wild! :D

Don’t reprompt until TWO parts after the last posting of the prompt.

RPF (real person fic, i.e. fic involving the actors themselves) is not supported at this meme.

Concrit is welcome, but kinkshaming, hijacking, and flaming are not tolerated.

Let's not hijink this. I see the Holmes as being an old-fashioned family, so why not an old-fashioned name?

I'd love to see Sherlock harassing his big brother's lovers, friends & associates in order to judge their worth. Double love if John finds out/is enlisted to help.

I have an idea for a short ficlet, involving Mycroft, Sherlock and Mary if that works so can hopefully come back in soon ...

So mycroft and sherlock had hot passionate sex and now they're lying next to each other catching their breath while what just happened is slowly dawning upon them and oh gawds what have they done?

They try to talk logic and reason but they keep shooting down each other's suggestions and just keep arguing while they're lying on their backs in bed and refusing to look at each other.

bonus: John comes home and sees them next to each other in bed half covered by sheets (so he can't actually see they're both completely naked) and assumes it's some sort of sibling bonding activity or "is this some sort of experiment where you're waiting to see my reaction or what?"

It isn't the first time they've had sex... but

Sherlock can't seem to relax enough as anal sex being anal sex is difficult enough as it is... and he's getting frustrated and tells John to just shove it in.

John's just trying to hold still every now and then to let Sherlock adjust and relax again but it's hard.

Mrs Hudson discovers internet and starts her own blog (preferably not on tumblr or anything like that). She decides to train her writing skills and starts writing stories and post them in her blog. Those stories, of course, are about John and Sherlock investigating something, working and living together (bonus if she's good at writing and uses old-fashioned ways of describing things). Eventually, John and Sherlock in her stories get together as a couple, and Mrs Hudson is quite graphic at describing their relationship.

Mrs Hudson's blog is very popular, especially among those who also follow Sherlock's blog. People start believing that Sherlock and John are actually together, so they are eagerly waiting for Mrs Hudson's new updates and encourage her to write more, which she happily does. Not that people believe everything she writes, it's just stories, after all, but everybody has already made up their mind that John/Sherlock is a real thing.

Even their neighbours, "the married ones", eagerly read Mrs Hudson's blog and are happy that they live next to something like this, and they, too, see John and Sherlock as a real life couple and always have it in their minds when they greet them.

When John and Sherlock learn about the whole thing, John is amused, Sherlock, who seems to be rather sensitive about things written about him, is not amused. At all. He demands Mrs Hudson to stop writing her "horrible, vulgar" stories, but she just brushes it aside and keeps doing what she does.

Nevertheless, eventually, John and Sherlock actually get together (not necessarily thanks to those stories, maybe feelings had always been there in the first place, I don't really care how it happens).

Mrs Hudson walks on them having sex and is absolutely happy and ecstatic about that fact. Her discovery immediately goes into her blog, of course.

Please, only top!John and bottom!Sherlock.

One day Sherlock gets injured (breaks his leg/dislocates his bones/sprains his ankle, or anything like that) and John has to carry him home in his arms. Bridal style. Sherlock is touched; John is so strong, warm and caring. Sherlock wants more of this, so...

Five times Sherlock feigns an injury (or even fainting fits) so that John will have to carry him in his arms, and one time John does it just because he wants to, when he carries Sherlock to his bedroom to have sex. And maybe +1 more if John picks Sherlock up like that after their wedding to carry him over the threshold of their flat.

If there's sex, only top!John, please.

Mary and John can't live without each other... but John's not doing so well without Sherlock always around and Sherlock is even worse, because he thinks John doesn't need him now. So Mary sets out to bring Sherlock into their lives more permanently- but moving in together either doesn't work or makes it worse. So she sets out to incorporate Sherlock into their love life too (perhaps because she's also falling for the detective).

+1- if Mary is the one to make John realize how much he's in love with Sherlock
+5- if Mary has to orchestrate their first time all together cuz she's the more experienced one with these types of situations.
+My Unending Adoration- if their first time includes pegging because John and Mary want Sherlock in the middle (where they can both show him how much they love him) but Mary thinks Sherlock will be more comfortable (at least, this first time) with an uninterrupted view of John.

RTYI. Not sure entire why, but I am reminded of Vicious and Vulgar, the play from Sherlock Convention in Seattle on YouTube right now. Maybe your plot and word choices? I think you'd like it a lot.

Omg, that happened when my dark-haired husband attempted to grow a beard. It was patchy and...ginger. (anon would also like to point out that Benedict Cumberbatch does indeed grow very weedy facial hair irl when allowed to do so)

Yes. I'm asking for a Sherlock/ War of the Worlds mash up after finding the book The Further Adventures of Sherlock Holmes: War of the Worlds and watching the new generation of both Sherlock and Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds.

Just go crazy with it, please. How would modern day London react to an attack from Mars? Is it 100% real or is it a hoax like the Orson Welles radio play?

My kingdom (well... Endless gratitude) for the phrase "The chances of anything coming from Mars are a million to one they said" being added into it somewhere.

Something I didn't know I wanted until right now. Thirding.

...and she's been on his kill list for a while now: as a spy, assassin, and threat to the British Government.

Problem is, none of his men were able to get him any visuals on her. The only thing he had to go off of was the patterns at every assassination he's looked into. How the shot was delivered, how she got in, what type of gun, ect.

After the break-in at Magnussen's, and the shooting of Sherlock, Mycroft puts the pieces together and links Mary to the anonymous spy at the top of his kill list. All he has to do is get rid of her.

There are a few slight problems with this, however:
For starters, Mary now knows who he is, and although she might be terrified of him, she's going to be cautious.
She's also pregnant, and killing pregnant women is a no-no, even for Mycroft.
On top of that, Sherlock and John insist on protecting her against him at all costs.

Mycroft decides to attempt some kind of middle ground...one where he can be assured that she's no longer a threat, and that John and Sherlock won't be pissed at him. What exactly that middle ground is (blackmail, interrogation, house arrest with John as guardian, ect.) is up to anon.

Will John and Sherlock be cooperative? Or - better question - will he be able to outmaneuver the woman who's slipped his clutches for so long and finally pin her down for long enough to make sure she's not a threat?

TL;DR: Mycroft is trying to kill Mary, but Sherlock and John refuse to let him, so he tries for some kind of middle ground.

When you eliminated all other options, the one that is left - however improbable - must be the truth.

But when the only remaining member of dead Moriarity's still VERYMUCH alive and functioning web is Molly Hooper - Sherlock is sure that he's gone wrong somewhere.

This is only further confirmed when he confronts her and she doesn't pull out some hidden second personality. She's still mousy little Molly who has a crush on him.

(Sherlock, of course, has no idea that Jim is still alive, and is convinced that Molly is somehow behind all of this.)

After concluding that Molly must be the REAL Moriarity, Sherlock figures that the only thing she could possibly want from him is his attention/affection/love/sex/something along those lines.

A leap of logic brings him to the conclusion that as soon as she gets this, she will stop pursuing him and "Moriarity" will be "defeated" once and for all, and so he drags Molly back to 221B immediately and gives her the most solid shagging of her life.

Imagine his surprise the next morning when he wakes up to find out that Jim Moriarity is alive, on his doorstep, and DEMANDING to know what the fuck Sherlock is doing having sex with his girlfriend.

Sherlock forgave Mary for shooting him the second he saw the bullet hole through the coin.
Mycroft forgave her when Sherlock told him to.
Janine took a few days of explaining, but she was quick to forgive her best friend.
Molly forgave her after a few weeks of the silent treatment as punishment.
Lestrade took a bit of convincing, but Molly and Sherlock were persuasive, and he forgave Mary within the month.
It took John almost six months, but he forgave her as well.
Mummy Holmes took almost a year before she decided that Mary hadn't meant to really kill her boy, and forgave her.
Anderson was pissed for two years, but eventually forgave her as well.

But Mary...Mary never forgave herself.

(Something angsty, like Mary possibly getting reminded of what she did and then starving herself for a few days out of guilt, claiming that she didn't feel well enough to eat, or doing dangerous things in an attempt to hurt herself as a punishment for the one sin that she's never really forgiven herself for. Whether John/Sherlock/Janine/whoever finds out is up to anon, but I would like angst.)
