Holy Bloggers Batman!! Where in the bloody hell is the rest of this amazing little gem!? No rush or anything, I just want to read more. You've got me on the edge of my seat waiting for the next installment. I love fics with John hurt. I'm totally expecting some harsh memories to resurface, maybe through dreams or something, random moments during the day because of a trigger would work to, and Sherlock will probably do his own amount of snooping. I wonder if Mycroft would know anything about what happened in John's past to explain the scars. It would be par for the course for him to show up and be all all-knowing and powerful and whatnot.
Your characterization of Sherlock is so spot on too, the lists and the ruining of moments and whatnot, all wonderful and perfect for socially oblivious Sherlock.
And John, god I love John. And you fo him so perfectly! Especially with all the badassness and the tackling of snipers and everything. Just wonderful.
