I think Lassie is fairly inflexible but I don't think he'd be disgusted at himself. I'd rather he was stoic and even quietly angsty on the matter than the writer made him gushy and him and Shawn made cupcakes together and lived happily ever after. Like I wrote in my first post, his stoicism is one of the main things I find attractive about him.

Anyway, I'm going to sleep now but it's be great chatting with you and I'm sure I'll have more to say on this in the morning.
