Prompting Part XXXV

GUIDELINES

  • Anon posting is not required, but most definitely allowed. If you think you recognise an anon, keep it to yourself and don’t out them. IP tracking is off, and will remain that way.

  • Multiple fills are encouraged, and all kinds of fills are accepted! Fic, art, vids, cosplay, interpretive dance — whatever. Go wild! :D

  • Don’t reprompt until TWO parts after the last posting of the prompt.

  • RPF (real person fic, i.e. fic involving the actors themselves) is not supported at this meme.

  • Concrit is welcome, but kinkshaming, hijacking, and flaming are not tolerated.

THE FILLED PROMPTS POST
When you fill a prompt, please use the appropriate Filled Prompts Post to archive your fill (there are instructions on the actual post).

If the part you wanted isn't up yet, just wait and one of the archivists will get to it, but please, once it is up, make sure you post your fills there according to the guidelines. DO NOT skip out on doing this because it seems like too much effort. If you want your fill to make it to the Delicious archive, that’s the way to do it.

Do not be afraid to ask questions about how it works if you are confused! The mods will be happy to explain.

WARNINGS/OFFENSIVE WORDING IN PROMPTS
Please consider warning for prompts that may trigger people (and also for fills, because some people read in flat view) and phrasing prompts in a manner that strives to be respectful.

Things which you might want to consider warning for include: Rape/Non-Con, Death, Suicidal Thoughts, Self-Harm, Underage Relationships, among others.

That being said, this is a kink meme. As such, there will be prompts that could offend you in a number of different ways. Not every prompt will have a trigger warning, and not every prompt will rub you the right way. If you have an issue with a specific prompt, feel free to bring it up in a discussion that takes place off the meme. However, flaming will not be tolerated regardless of origin.

You are highly encouraged to scroll past any prompt that you dislike.

Remember: be civil, be friendly, but don’t be shy!

THINGS THAT MAKE BROWSING THE MEME EASIER FOR EVERYONE
Please nest your fills. Doing so will make it easier for archivists to save your fills to the Delicious archive. Using subject lines will also help people reading the meme in flatview keep track of what’s happening. Finally, titling your fills (even if it’s something silly) will be helpful to those tracking a lot of prompts or scrolling through the meme.

PROMPT FREEZES
Depending on the rate of activity, there may or may not be a prompt freeze when a part reaches 2000 and 4500 comments. However, there will be one when it reaches 7000. After the 7000 comments freeze, a new part will be posted, and all prompting should happen on the new part.

John gets bad days too.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-20 08:16 pm (UTC)(link)
How does John cope with his bad days?

Does he curl up on the sofa in his pyjamas watching old Disney films?

Does he take it out on others (as in snapping at them, no violence please.)

Does he put an awesome mixtape on and has a bit of a sing and a little boogie if he's on his own?

Does he go for runs/ goes to the gym?

Does someone or a group of people just realise he's not himself and do little things so he knows he's not alone?

Does he just soldier on?

Any and all fills or RTYIs would be appreciated as I've been having a terrible few weeks. Thank you!

Fill: 10 miles, or thereabouts.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-23 07:07 pm (UTC)(link)
He can't deal with it today. The joke that is his marriage, the best friend who seems to think he can carry on regardless, even when he gets shot. Mrs Hudson wittering.

He's not going to the hospital, but he has no intention of staying at home. Mary pouts at him, like what she did is forgivable, like he's the one being unreasonable.

Sod that.

He walks straight past the tube, the rush of warm air and busy people pissing him off even more than he was already. Notices in passing that the little tables outside the coffee shop over the road are all wobbly and skew because the pavement is uneven, empty cardboard cups caught by wind and rolling down the gutter, air rank with main road and nicotine. It's grimly amusing that anyone would want to drink coffee there.

The lights flash, beeps sound. He crosses, moves on.

He doesn't look in the shop windows, they're the same old dross as yesterday, and these are the same people, shuffling along. Even the teenagers seem old. Trapped in the endless pointless cycle between home and work and primark.

In a better mood he might pop in the library. Not today. He doesn't even glance at it.

More crossings, jangling noise and lights. Some twat in a BMW who can't drive. They exchange abuse, but it doesn't escalate. Doesn't make him feel better either. Another tube station, classical music leaking from the entrance. Nothing he can identify. Sherlock would know.

He's not thinking about Sherlock.

He cuts diagonally across the common, avoiding the duck pond, the playground, the sticky little cafe that used to do beans and now only does cake and coffee. What is it with sodding coffee? Artisan, fresh ground, hand roasted. What's the bloody difference?

Under the railway bridge, past the skate park, empty, graffitied, unsafe.

His stomach reminds him it's lunch time. He ignores it. Up another high street, past another blue and red tube sign. Little boxes of houses, red brick at the front, yellow at the back, gardens just big enough for a dustbin and a dusty looking hedge.

A couple of people have made an effort though, windowboxes spill over, red and purple, doors are freshly painted.

His stomach growls again and he resolves to stop at the next place, proper food or stupid organic muffins, he's not really bothered.

He glances at his watch. 3 hours this time until he walked it off. That's - what? 10 miles or thereabouts?

He'll take the tube back.

John/Sherlock. Mpreg. Pregnant!Sherlock. Their child adores Mycroft.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-20 08:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Sherlock gives birth to his and John's baby (it can be an omegaverse with Omega!Sherlock and Alpha!John. Mycroft's secondary gender is optional). When the child is older (a toddler), everybody starts noticing that he or she absolutely adores Mycroft. He or she absolutely likes Mycroft being... Mycroft.

And, while Sherlock may be as unbearable as he always is when Mycroft visits, the child is always damn happy to see him (and maybe sometimes even falls on his or her bottom and starts crying rivers when Mycroft leaves). Maybe he or she gets ecstatic when they go for a walk and see umbrellas behind a shop-window, because they remind him or her of Mycroft.

It can also be Mycroft/Greg if you'd like (preferably not pre-established), and Greg is amused.

Re: John/Sherlock. Mpreg. Pregnant!Sherlock. Their child adores Mycroft.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-21 01:55 pm (UTC)(link)
OMG YES THAT WOULD BE ADORABLE.
-coughs- I mean uh, yes, seconding.

Mycroft says "it's over" well this is ominous...

Sherlock has impeccable gaydar...

(Anonymous) 2014-08-21 03:47 am (UTC)(link)
...(as mentioned in canon with the whole "Jim from IT" thing). So when Lestrade mentions something about going out for drinks / on a date with Mycroft, Sherlock tells him not to bother because Mycroft is straight. Lestrade argues that no, Mycroft very definitely isn't, because they've been dating/shagging/etc. for two months now thankyouverymuch and he thinks he would have noticed.

Sherlock wigs out - for all he's got incredible powers of observation, Mycroft turns out to be VERY good at hiding in the closet. (I imagine his job, etc. would depend on it?) So much so that he managed to plant fake clues about his private life so Sherlock wouldn't be able to guess. I imagine Sherlock would be more mad about Mycroft tricking him than about Mycroft's orientation . . .

Sherlock plays with dolls of himself and John

(Anonymous) 2014-08-21 02:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Sherlock is famous enough that people have started making action figures of him and John. Someone buys them for Sherlock as a joke. Then, in secret (maybe while high?) he starts acting out various scenarios with the dolls, even some of a romantic nature that he thinks can never happen IRL.

One day John walks in and overhears....

(Cracky or angsty is fine)

Sherlock and Mycroft used to be very close - homophobia

(Anonymous) 2014-08-21 02:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Sherlock and Mycroft were very close when Sherlock was growing up. Then when he was a teen, Sherlock confessed to Mycroft that he thought he was gay. And Mycroft told him not to tell their parents (or anyone else) because "it will be less embarrassing when you grow out of this little phase." Sherlock kept waiting to grow out of it, to feel some sort of attraction to women, but it never happened. Eventually he relegated everything to "it's all just transport" and ignored sex altogether, but he never really forgave Mycroft for making him feel like being attracted to men was something about hmself that needed to be fixed/ignored/hidden.

Then John (or Lestrade, up to you) comes along and is so blatantly "fine" about gay couples they come across (Harry and Clara, the innkeepers at Baskerville, Mrs. Turner's "married ones," etc.) that Sherlock starts to reconsider whether his sexuality is really a defect after all. And then it comes out that John/Lestrade is bisexual, totally open and unashamed about it, and well . . . Sherlock finally lets hmself have an honest-to-goodness crush for the first time in his life.

(Could end up explicit or stay T-rated, whatever - I just want to see Sherlock struggling with coming out and realizing that not everyone is as narrow-minded as Mycroft.)

Jim blackmails Mycroft into sleeping with him (Threatening Sherlock, obviously) and ends up keeping him locked in a basement for a week, doing everything he can to him. (Toys, fucking him, having him give him a blow job and coming over his face, etc)

After that, Mycroft goes back to his normal life, resolving to never let anyone, especially Sherlock, know what transpired.

He keeps it well hidden, until one day when he's over at Sherlock's apartment, and a DVD arrives in the mail, with instructions for it to be played immediately...

Turns out there were video cameras.

Looking mainly for the time Jim had him, angst and h/c in the aftermath a bonus.

I would love to see a fic based on the song 'In All My Dreams I Drown' by Jessica Lowndes and Terrance Zdunich.
I was thinking Johnlock for obvious reasons but I love practically ALL ships, so I'd be happy with anything! It's a great song; even if you're not considering writing for it, I recommend giving it a listen!

John/Sherlock or GEN. Stroke. Angst.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-22 01:40 am (UTC)(link)
Sherlock's lifestyle leads to Sherlock having a stroke. Thankfully, John is a doctor, so he recognises the sudden attack immediately, incuding the way Sherlock's face (especially a half of it) suddenly changes. Being a doctor also allows John to help Sherlock as best as he can before they get to a hospital.

Thankfully, due to his relatively young age, Sherlock has a better chance to recover, even though rehabilitation is hard, and for a brain as brilliant as Sherlock's it's quite a devastating situation.

I just want hurt!Sherlock and caring!John who helps him to get back on his feet (physically, mentally and emotionally).

Platonic love relationship is preferable (kissing and touching would be great though).

Sherlock broken down, finally works for Mycroft

(Anonymous) 2014-08-22 03:15 am (UTC)(link)
Something happens (John is killed? John flat-out rejects Sherlock's advances? John just spends all his time with Mary and the baby and doesn't think about Sherlock anymore?) and Sherlock is absolutely broken down - possibly depressed, but definitely doesn't feel the excitement for his work like he used to. He doesn't bug Lestrade for crime scenes anymore, doesn't do experiments, just lies around the flat doing nothing.

Mycroft eventually gets him working for the government (i.e. all the stuff Mycroft always asked him to do and Sherlock usually refused) - and even Mycroft can tell that something's wrong, because Sherlock's doing a boring, routine job with no emotional attachment whatsoever. He just doesn't care anymore.

Someone (John? Lestrade? Mycroft? Molly?) makes a valiant attempt to shake him back out of it before he turns to drugs again.

GEN or unrequited (?) John/Sherlock. John is not the same. Angst.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-22 04:23 am (UTC)(link)
After Sherlock's return, John changes rather dramatically. Maybe it doesn't happen immediately, but it doesn't take long. He's no longer John that Sherlock knew. John is cold and unsympathetic towards Sherlock and their past years of friendship. Maybe sometimes he looks like all he feels is some cold disgust towards his former friend, or as if Sherlock is just a stranger to him; just a nuisance. His views have mostly changed. He's no longer the heart to Sherlock's brain; the heart is made of stone now, apparently. John doesn't pretend, it's not a show.

There are some good things about it: John looks better, has a better self-worth, there's no limp even in cold, rainy days, no PTSD. Maybe he makes something of himself again, as a doctor or even as a soldier.

But it's not John everybody knew, that was so kind and forgiving.

Sherlock is not happy. John says and does things that really hurt him or ignores him even when Sherlock needs him very much. Still, he tries to get the old John back, desperately tries to reach out to him, but what he gets in return is more pain. John actually admits that he feels much better now that he couldn't care less about his "so-called friend", or rather ex-friend.

Sherlock is also not okay physically after his years away (maybe because of torture). John isn't sympathetic about it either; it's Sherlock's own fault and, if he wants pity, John can't give even this to him.

Maybe Sherlock gets seriously ill due to the stress or gets injured during a case, because he's too distracted by his thoughts of John to pay attention. John never once visits him in hospital (where Sherlock spends weeks or even months) or asks about his health, so Sherlock feels sick, hurt and completely abandoned.

Please, no physically abusive John, except for that one time after Sherlock's return. In fact, John wouldn't touch Sherlock with a ten-foot pole and Sherlock himself is just a waste of time to him. But he doesn't mind hurting him with cruel words and disdain.

One day Sherlock can't take it any longer, breaks down, starts crying and asks if John actually hates him so much. Maybe John says Sherlock is pathetic and goes away, or tells him that he doesn't believe his "crocodile tears", because "fool me once...". So he leaves him there to sink. And yet, either things slowly start changing since then (or, better, later) and they hesitantly work on repairing what's lost, or John's decision is final and Sherlock can rot, for all he cares.

I can accept any ending (except for Sherlock just getting over the fact that John doesn't want him in his life anymore, if John actually abandons him for good). I just want a very nasty emotional whump.

John, Greg and whoever the writer wants all live in a cave, fearful and fighting for survival (please let Mrs. Hudson be in the group), they don't necessarily have to be family as a close knit group of people. One day, John meets a strange man who claims heir world will end. After heir home is destroyed they follow, and in the process, run into Sherlock's brother, and two men who want them dead.

Quick and painful sex, it never occurs to Sherlock that he could say stop

(Anonymous) 2014-08-23 09:17 am (UTC)(link)
After a long case is closed, Sherlock and John fall into bed for their usual post case sex. But this time, john's feeling a bit more dominant than usual and in their UST fuelled passion, John flips Sherlock onto his front, barely prepares them properly and fucks hard and fast into Sherlock.

It's painful and becomes terrifying but it never occurs to Sherlock to shout stop or slow down. In fact, he finds that he can say nothing except for "john". Sherlock doesn't come, and after John finds his release and collapses beside Sherlock to catch his breath, Sherlock finally bursts into tears and breaks down due to relief that its finally over.

Then h/c with lots of c and John feeling terrible and the two of them desperately try very hard to move past this.

John/Sherlock - Sherlock struggles over telling John about his past noncon experience

(Anonymous) 2014-08-23 11:15 am (UTC)(link)
After getting together and starting down the path towards sexual intimacy, Sherlock starts to struggle over the tug-of-war decision in his head about whether or not he should tell John about his past nonconsensual sexual experience (it could be recent while he was gone or long ago or when he was a child). Sherlock is struggling a lot with the "I should/I should not" scenarios and it's starting to show.

Sherlock goes to someone who knows about it (it can be Mycroft or Lestrade) to talk about it because he's got no one else he can trust with it. Maybe:
"you should tell him, what if he does something triggering to you?"
"he already has." D=

and/or "would you be able to protect yourself from him?"
"no. I'd never say no to John."

When Sherlock finally decides to tell John, he struggles with that too. To the point where he asks Mycroft (or Lestrade) to tell John for him. Whether Sherlock ends up doing it himself or not is up to author.

Re: John/Sherlock - Sherlock struggles over telling John about his past noncon experience

If you're interested in a RTYI, there was a similar prompt fill awhile back posted on AO3, I think I bookmarked it and hopefully can dig it up tomorrow. I don't think there were others involved, it was just Sherlock trying to work up his nerve and taking a few tries.

In the meantime, seconding this one enthusiastically, especially the idea of him talking to Mycroft or Lestrade.

Anon once told someone by writing it on a piece of paper and handing it to the other person, even though we were speaking face to face.

Sherlock and John do the Ice Bucket Challenge

(Anonymous) 2014-08-23 05:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Bonus if other characters (Mycroft, Lestrade, etc.) do it too. :D

Wonderfalls Crossover

(Anonymous) 2014-08-23 06:46 pm (UTC)(link)
John (or Sherlock, or one of the other characters) gets a knock on the head or a shock or something and objects start talking to him and giving him advice. It's never obvious why the advice will help, but the long term consequences are always good.

Sherlock treats John like Vastra treats Jenny

(Anonymous) 2014-08-24 09:27 am (UTC)(link)

In this episode, Vastra gets Jenny to stand in a pose and Jenny thinks its because Vastra is drawing her. Actually Vastra is doing something completely unrelated but just likes Jenny in that position because its pretty.

I'd like Sherlock doing the same to John. Maybe he makes John stand in military uniform or something, and John thinks it's for a case but actually, its just eye candy for Sherlock.

As someone new to Doctor Who, I wholeheartedly second this! I already want more Vastra and Jenny (and I hope it's a bit of foreshadowing).

Sherlock just wants someone to acknowledge his birthday

(Anonymous) 2014-08-24 05:05 pm (UTC)(link)
But year after year, no one does. (Well, except for Mummy, but does that really count?) Occasionally Mycroft does . . . but it seems that he only does it to disconcert him.

When John moves in and becomes a large part of Sherlock's life, Sherlock thinks he's the type of person that would like to celebrate birthdays. As such, he starts leaving little clues about his birthday coming up (of course, these are Sherlock-style clues and John a) never realises what they mean, b) doesn't pick up on most of the at all, and c) thinks Sherlock is just being weird.

So when Sherlock's birthday arrives several months after they meet, John has no idea that it's Sherlock's birthday, much less that he'd like to celebrate it. (Sherlock Holmes WANTING to celebrate a holiday? He scoffs at holidays!)

Sherlock spends the whole day hoping John is going to acknowledge his birthday in some way, but it never happens and Sherlock is pretty much crushed.

He starts acting oddly over the next few days, doing things like leaving John behind when he goes on cases and generally ignoring John, and seeming sulky and upset in a way that doesn't quite mesh with the fact that Sherlock DOES, in fact, have cases.

John may not have picked up on the hinting, but he picks up on the mood and investigates why Sherlock is acting this way.

Where it goes from there is up to you.

Moriarty/Anderson

[identity profile] aldernavy.livejournal.com 2014-08-24 08:45 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm sorry, but I find the idea of this...really awesome; if Moriarty is supposed to be Sherlock, or the other side of the coin, why wouldn't he like Anderson? He hated John.

Anyway, Moriarty gets curious about the forensic scientist that Sherlock loathes, and that loathes him in return, and finds him...interesting.

John/Sherlock (but not really the one we know). Angst, Some Creepiness.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-24 09:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Sherlock comes back. That notorious situation in the restaurant is different. Instead of Mary, there's another Sherlock. John has dragged Sherlock to that posh restaurant with him, determined to propose his lover so they can get married (of course, it was deduced beforehand).

Sherlock (the real one) is shocked. When he appears, John thinks it's some kind of a joke and that he, the real Sherlock, is an impostor and this is some crazy thing made up by one of their enemies.

Maybe the real Sherlock tries to attack the 'fake' one, but John won't let his fiancé get hurt and beats the real Sherlock up. It hurts in more than one way.

Sherlock desperately tries to prove that he's not an impostor, whereas John's fiancé is. Both John and the 'fake' Sherlock want him gone whoever he is. Of course, he doesn't go away. He tries to ask questions and only John and the real Sherlock will be able to answer correctly.

But the more Sherlock asks, the more he realises that John's fiancé is not an impostor; he's Sherlock, too. He knows all the answers, he knows everything Sherlock knew before The Fall, every single detail from childhood, and so on. He's got absolutely the same traces of character, appearance, habits, skills, clothes, DNA, fingerprints, memories (except the last two years). Everything. Both of them are real Sherlocks. Maybe they are curious about each other (because, really, such a mystery!), but still hostile. Maybe the other Sherlock is worried that John will start doubting, so he's a bit anxious and jealous. And the one who came back wants his John. He wants his life back.

Weeks after The Fall the other Sherlock came back to John. They kept a low profile for quite some time to make sure they were safe. Eventually, when they thought it was okay, they told their friends that Sherlock was alive. The other Sherlock never thought about not being real or anything like that. After all, he is Sherlock, he came back to his best friend after the staged suicide. Nobody can tell the difference. It's the same, unbearable Sherlock Holmes they all know. John and Sherlock also got together as lovers. Maybe it was very awkward for Sherlock at first, but he let it happen nonetheless.

I don't really care what made Sherlock unknowingly split up in two after The Fall, just please, no lab clones, demons, other people pretending to be Sherlock, or any kind of impostors at all. The two are real. John only wants his fiancé and wouldn't want a "friend" who was away for two years, making John believe he was dead, not believing in John and not believing that they could keep each other safe. This Sherlock is not welcome in John's life and never will be.

Sherlock, who came back after the two hellish years to his only real friend and person he's in love with, is heartbroken. He also sees that John and he could've been together, and he could've been John's fiancé, instead. But never will. Maybe he watches them together. They have their romantic relationship, friendship and the Game/the Work. And he's just a broken, scarred and lonely person, deprived of everything he had or could've had.

Other people don't really want him either. Mrs Hudson is used to Sherlock who's John's fiancé, Lestrade consults with that Sherlock as well, Molly gives body parts to that other Sherlock and is not comfortable with some twin creep. They all think the whole situation is too creepy, so they stay away from him even when they try to be polite.

A lot of angst, tears and heartbreak, please.

But if you don't like tragic endings, maybe there's another John somewhere ;)? Maybe that other John wasn't wounded in Afghanistan, came back later and has been a doctor somewhere in another part of Britain? And maybe he only rings his drunken sister sometimes and she simply can't tell the difference, partly because she's drunk all the time (so what that her brother has congratulated her on her birthday twice the same day? She's too drunk to care; Clara won't call), so he doesn't know there's another John just like himself? And maybe Mycroft finds him for his heartbroken brother who's going mad with grief and takes drugs again? And maybe this other John Watson can change everything?

If sex is included, I prefer top!John.

Sorry, it's long.

Oh shit oh shit oh shit SECONDINNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

John/Sherlock + others, military kink, consensual gangbang, getting a little weird

(Anonymous) 2014-08-24 09:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Once in a while Sherlock really needs some intense experience to just shut down his brain and reboot it to clear all the static and clutter out. He doesn't want to use drugs again, and plain ol' vanilla sex with one person is very nice, but not extreme enough to do the job when he gets like that.

So Sherlock reveals that what he really wants is to indulge his military kink with a good hard consensual gangbang once in a while. John is shocked at first, but then kind of gets into the idea, and he has a few old Army buddies who are gladly up for it, and he starts to really enjoy taking charge of the planning and logistics of it and making sure Sherlock gets what he needs and everybody's having fun and nobody gets hurt, etc. So there's happy rough boisterous filthy consensual military gangbang scenes with lots of dirty talk going on for a while, and it's great . . .

Until Sherlock starts hinting that he wants to go darker and rougher with it: rape and torture roleplay, intense humiliation, pain, maybe actual injuries, even maybe snuff fantasies, god knows what. John just ... isn't comfortable with that, and doesn't think his friends would be either. But Sherlock's very persuasive, after all...

How would you resolve that? I'd like a happy ending, but a little angst and fear along the way is fine.

(haha ad captcha says "An Experience to Overdo")

(Unrequited?) John/Sherlock. Accidental Cross-Dressing. Angst.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-25 01:12 am (UTC)(link)
On John's wedding day, Sherlock is so overwhelmed and absent-minded (secretly devastated, too) that he ends up putting on one of those purple bridesmaids' dresses (like Janine's) that had to be put on by one of the bridesmaids.

People have been warned that Sherlock is a bit... eccentric and unusual, so even though they are quite surprised and whisper about it, they don't say anything aloud. John is too surprised to say anything about it at all. Surely, Sherlock knows what he does... right?

Eventually, maybe when Sherlock needs to pee, or somebody tells him: "Nice dress" or anything like that, he realises what he's wearing and is absolutely terrified and mortified. Some people will never let him live it down and there are pictures and videos, too.

I'd be absolutely happy if there was something johnlockish. And comforting John, of course (maybe John regrets making Sherlock his best man, not because he's bad or anything, but because John sees how hard and stressful it is for Sherlock). Anyway, Sherlock is in love with John.

The dress isn't the only odd thing Sherlock does absent-mindedly during the day. For example, he calls some people by a wrong name (maybe some get called "John" several times). Maybe he eats strange combinations of food if he even makes himself eat.

He accidentally plays his song for Mary and John backwards (which, I'm sure, sounds very odd to everybody, and Mary and John try to dance as if everything's okay (John insists, seeing that Sherlock is not okay at all)).

In other words, Sherlock's suppressed emotions and unrequited (???) love show in strange ways.

Bonus: when he runs away from the wedding, as everybody starts dancing, he finally breaks down pretty badly and maybe he even needs some professional help Mycroft has to find for him, because he can't calm down. And maybe John has to get involved, too.

I know this prompt is odd, but I prefer no crack!fic. It's just... Sherlock is not an ordinary person and it would be only fair to see him breaking in ways that are not ordinary as well.

Yes!

John/Many, John/Sherlock endgame. Jealous!Sherlock ruins John's dates(yes, nothing new here. Almost)

(Anonymous) 2014-08-25 03:44 am (UTC)(link)
John is a womaniser... Yes, we all know that, but let's take it farther.

Yes, it's clear that John knows how to show respect and kindness, how to court somebody, how to be interesting during a date and how to be a great lover in bed. Damn, he's a doctor and an army captain (I don't know how about you, but to me it looks like a real bloody achievement in life!!) and has a lot of interesting stories to tell. He can also stand up for himself and for another person. He's good-looking without being overly-... overly-something (sorry, my English is not good enough to describe John Watson's awesomeness) :).

Anthea does actually agree to go for a date with John and they spend a great night together afterwards. Even though it was a one- or several-times thing, they separate without problems and Anthea sees John as a nice gentleman even when things end between them. And then there's Sarah. She likes John very much and they date and have sex, but break up, because she thinks John's life is too dangerous for her (it basically makes him somebody like James Bond to her!).

And then there are other girlfriends.

And... Sherlock is very jealous and unhappy, because he wants John for himself. So what that he doesn't have a vagina or any sex or relationship experience at all?! John can find a way to make love to him anyway, right? :((

So, Sherlock is absolutely unbearable when John goes on dates or, worse, brings his girlfriends home. Sherlock makes sure John's women just can't stay with John because of his horrible, rude, meddling flatmate. Usually John's ex-lovers have a very good opinion about John after breaking up for one reason or another, maybe he's still friends with some of them. But it doesn't pertain to those who get drawn away by Sherlock's impossible attitude. John is angry. But, well, it's Sherlock, he can be a git and drive anyone mad. It's normal... for Sherlock I mean.

John even has sex with Kate (Irene's beautiful servant) and maybe Irene joins, too (yes, brains are sexy, but who needs Sherlock when his sidekick is available and knows how to make love and how to make a woman feel cherished and happier? If Sherlock is too timid and afraid to finally admit that he wants John (which Irene knows is true), Irene has got no problem having a little bit of fun with the willing man herself). If Kate and Irene are in relationship it would be great, but not necessary. It's not BDSMish with John. They just have a nice threesome (maybe Irene rides John's penis and Kate sits on John's face, or vice versa). Satisfied, John leaves the two satisfied, impressed, ladies afterwards.

And then there's probably some interesting woman in NSY John tries to seduce or actually seduces (unless they want nothing to do with "Freak's boyfriend" and have to refuse, albeit reluctantly). And Sherlock is so furious! Because it's the Work! And John is ruining even that with his stupid romances!

And one day it just gets too much and Sherlock tells it all to John. Maybe he does it when John is on a date with Mary in a restaurant (maybe The Fall doesn't happen, but John still meets Mary and they date. And it becomes too serious for Sherlock's liking, not that he's ever liked anything like that at all). So he makes a rather noisy scene right in the middle of the restaurant and can't help but angrily confess his love to John (yes, quite a shock and a show to the other patrons).

Happy John/Sherlock would be great. Sexy times are preferable with top!John.

If you don't like writing het sex, I'm okay if it's not graphic. Sex isn't really the main point anyway. :)

Sherlock/John, Dancing - RTYIs welcome

(Anonymous) 2014-08-25 04:27 am (UTC)(link)
I would love a fic about Sherlock and John pursuing someone who has been handing out bad drugs at raves. The two have to dance to avoid looking like narcs and John is made breathless by Sherlock's natural fluid talent at moving his body, though Sherlock is oblivious to John's interest, being focussed on finding the perp. They go to multiple raves, John getting more flustered each time. Perhaps they end up partaking of some quality E at some point?

Anything else is up to you!

RTYIs, including fic/art/etc, are very welcome!
