Prompting Part XXX

All new prompts go on Part XXXI!

IMPORTANT! Spoilers for aired episodes are now being

allowed on this area of the meme, without warning. If you do not want to encounter spoilers, please prompt at our Spoiler-Free Prompt Post.

GENERAL GUIDELINES
  • Anon posting is not required, but most definitely allowed. If you think you recognise an anon, keep it to yourself and don’t out them.
  • All kinds of fills are accepted! Fic, art, vids, cosplay, interpretive dance--whatever. Go wild! :D
  • Multiple fills are encouraged! :) Just because a prompt has already been claimed or written by someone, do not be afraid to offer up a second fill.
  • Keep things neat! Read prompts before you post to see if something similar has already been done, and while you are encouraged to prompt as much as you like, try to fill as well.
  • ONE posting of each prompt every TWO part.
  • RPF (real person fic, i.e. fic involving the actors themselves) is not supported at this meme.
  • Depending on the rate of activity, there may or may not be a prompt freeze when a part reaches 2000 and 4500 comments.
  • However, there will be one when it reaches 7000. Also at 7000, after the freeze a new part will be posted, and all prompting should happen on the new part.
  • Please refrain from hijacking a prompt. If a prompt leads you to an original idea, please create your own prompt.
  • Don't be disrespectful or hurtful to others. Kindness can go a long way. If you don’t have anything nice or constructive to say, don’t say it.
  • When you fill a prompt, please use the appropriate Filled Prompt post to archive your fill.

THE FILLED PROMPTS POST
Put links to your fills here. There are instructions on the actual post. I ask that if the part you wanted isn't up yet, just wait and one of the archivists will get to it, but please, once it is up, please make sure you post your fills there according to the guidelines. DO NOT skip out on doing this because it seems like too much effort.
Do not be afraid to ask questions about how it works if you are confused! The mods would be happy to explain.

CONTACTING MODS
Your mods for this meme are snowishness, marill_chan and ellie_hell. If you have any questions, concerns, comments about anything at all on the meme feel free to send a PM or contact us via the Page-A-Mod post.

WARNINGS/OFFENSIVE WORDING IN PROMPTS
Please consider warning for triggery prompts (and also for fills, because some people read in flat view) and phrasing prompts in a manner that strives to be respectful.

Things which you might want to consider warning for include: Rape/Non-Con, Death, Suicidal Thoughts, Self-Harm, Underage Relationships, among others.

That being said, this is a kink meme. As such, there will be prompts that could offend you in a number of different ways. Not every prompt will have a trigger warning, and not every prompt will rub you the right way. If you have an issue with a specific prompt, feel free to bring it up in a discussion that takes place off the meme. However, flaming will not be tolerated regardless of origin.
You are highly encouraged to scroll right past a prompt that you dislike.

Remember, guys; Be civil, be friendly, but don’t be shy!

So much YES! Telepaths and shapeshifters (JIm!) and teleporters and healing factors... Maybe no-one knows Sherlock has healing abilities, and that's how he survives the fall?

James Bond crossover

Mummy is M

Fill: M is for Mummy (Part 1)

[identity profile] azriona.livejournal.com 2012-07-14 12:27 pm (UTC)(link)

“Coming, John?” shouted Lestrade, walking backwards.

“Yeah, right behind you,” John shouted back, and he turned back to Sherlock. “See you Baker Street?”

“No, Chinese,” said Sherlock, frowning. “We solved a case. Chinese.”

“It’s not even dinner yet. There’s a Bond marathon and the boys asked me along.” John sighed at Sherlock’s expression. “I’ll meet you for Chinese after.”

“They didn’t ask me.”

John snorted. “You’d want to see a James Bond movie?”

“Why not?”

John laughed. And then he laughed again. When he had doubled over, Sherlock sighed and waited patiently.

“All right, fine,” said John. “Come on, then. But buy your own popcorn.”

He’s coming?” cried Anderson, and Sherlock smiled.

“This might be fun after all,” he said.

*

It wasn’t, and John started to get that impression within five minutes of entering the theater. The first indication was that Mycroft Holmes was already inside.

“Sherlock. Dr. Watson,” said Mycroft.

“You don’t have enough subterfuge in your daily life, you have to take it in at the movies as well?” John asked Mycroft.

Sherlock peered at the popcorn in Mycroft’s hands. “Extra butter, Mycroft?”

“Never thought I’d see you here,” said Mycroft to Sherlock, and then glanced at John. “Unless, of course, I’m imposing on a private moment?”

“Go sit somewhere else, Mycroft.”

“Wait – what?” asked John. “You don’t—“

“Oh, goodness, wouldn’t want anyone to think I’m preserving anyone’s reputation,” said Mycroft as he gathered his things and left the row in front of them.

“We’re not on date,” said John, horrified.

“No, of course not,” said Mycroft, and sat directly behind them.

“How is that seat any better?” demanded Sherlock.

There was some shuffling as Lestrade, Donovan, and Anderson worked their way down the row.

“So, Sherlock, did you determine this to be the best seat in the house?” asked Lestrade jovially.

“Of course,” said Sherlock.

“Gregory.”

“Mycroft.”

Sherlock made his sigh obnoxiously loud.

“You didn’t have to come,” said Lestrade to Mycroft. “I can protect John from Sherlock just as well as you can.”

“Excuse me!”

“Family,” said Mycroft.

This is not a date. And I can protect myself perfectly well.”

“The lady doth protest too much,” said Anderson, and Donovan snickered.

“Now, if you’re going to point out dating couples,” said Sherlock, fixing them with a beady eye.

Someone at the front of the house stood up. “I do hope you’re not going to continue this racket during the movie.”

“Very sorry, of course not,” said John loudly, and glared at everyone on either side of him.

They behaved, but only just. They hooted and hollered during the explosions, threw popcorn at the villains, and whistled at the Bond girls. The only mollification was that they were hardly alone; only fans and fanatics went to see a dinner-time screening of a movie which was readily available on DVD.

Except for the disgruntled man near the front of the theater, the only people not thoroughly enjoying themselves were Mycroft and Sherlock. In fact, it wasn’t until well into the movie that John heard either of them make any sort of noise at all, and when it did come, it was so understated that John wasn’t sure if it was a snort or a sneeze.

“Stop that,” Mycroft said to his brother as Judi Dench was introduced to the audience as “M”.

“I like the line,” snapped Sherlock. “Evil queen of numbers indeed.”

Both men leaned forward for the next line. On screen, Judi delivered it perfectly: “If I wanted sarcasm, I would talk to my children.”

“Harumph,” said Sherlock, insulted.

“Yet true,” said Mycroft.

“People don’t actually say ‘harumph’,” said John.

Harumph,” repeated Sherlock for emphasis.

blind!Sherlock is a badass

(Anonymous) 2012-06-20 03:03 am (UTC)(link)
I've seen a couple of fics where Sherlock is blinded by something or other during a case. They're understandably angsty, but a couple ventured in to Magical Healing Cock territory, unfortunately.

I'd like a fic where Sherlock is blind, perhaps from birth, but long-term anyway. He's fiercely independent. He's an ass. He solves crimes.

Blushing Mycroft and Under the Table Teasing

(Anonymous) 2012-06-20 03:08 am (UTC)(link)
Blushing is a kink of mine... and embarrassment. I'd like to see Mycroft at a conference with Lestrade, and Greg feeling him up under the table or something, and this causes Mycroft to blush bright scarlet. This then leads to sexytimes.... partially while sitting at the table during the conference, and then maybe in the restroom during break or something.

Sherlock is heavily pregnant with John's child but that doesn't stop him from continuing his work much to John's dismay.

While working late on the latest case in Scotland Yard, a sudden blackout happens and he's stuck with Lestrade, Sally, and Anderson. Of course he picks this time to go to labor (or already has before he came but didn't say anything because there's cases to be solved and he had plenty of time!)

Lestrade is panicking, Sally tries to assume the role of midwife even though she's never done this before, and Anderson keeps trying to find a way out because 'OMG No way I'm sticking around for this! Let me outta here!!' but gets roped into helping anyhow.

Bonus points if Sherlock keeps demanding for John to be here and they eventually contact him somehow.

Well, it can't be doing to give an old lady a heart attack if and when he returns. She might be stronger than she looks, but it wouldn't do to risk it.

So he tells Mrs Hudson what he's got planned before they leave. Her and Molly are the only ones who'll know.

Bonus but not necessary is him telling her to look after John and Mycroft whilst he's away.

Fill attempt

(Anonymous) 2012-07-09 03:36 am (UTC)(link)
Sherlock's eyes slide to the dozing John as his phone buzzes against his ear. Eventually, a familiar voice picks up on the other end of the line.
"Sherlock, are you alright?" she wastes no time in asking.
"Fine, Mrs. Hudson. But I have something...I have a secret to tell you."
"A secret?" her voice is laced with worry - this whole situation just puts him so out of character.
"This case, everything - Moriarty is behind it. Mrs. Hudson, he's threatened to burn me. And I don't think turning me into a fraud will be enough for him. If all goes to plan...tonight, I'm going to be faking my death. And no one can know."
Mrs. Hudson pauses, "Why me? Why not John?"
"He'll be safer if he doesn't know - he can't lie worth a damn, either," Sherlock dismisses.
"Sherlock," Mrs. Hudson scolds - whether for the language or statement about his friend, he can't tell, "And I can?"
"Phone," Sherlock reminds, referring to Irene's most prized possession, smiling.
"Oh, alright," she says, and he can hear a smile in her voice.
"Besides, I don't want to convince you I'm dead and then give you some sort of heart attack when I come back," he adds. She sighs fondly on the end of the line, and there is comfortable silence between them for a moment.
"Mrs. Hudson? Can I ask something of you, while I'm gone?"
"Anything, dear," she says, and it almost brings out another smile.
"Keep an eye on John - and don't let Mycroft do anything stupid."
"I think your brother will be too busy watching John to do anything like that. But I will watch them, both."
"Thank you, Mrs. Hudson." Emotion leaks into the phrase - affection and pride and gratefulness all in the phrase, "I'll see you again as soon as I can."

triggers: rape, mutilation, death, nonconsensual insect-based sexual roleplay

(Anonymous) 2012-06-20 03:47 am (UTC)(link)
Disturbing prompt is disturbing.

Moriarty shares Sherlock's interest in honeybees. When he calls Sherlock "The Virgin", he means it in the sense of a virgin queen bee. Moriarty kidnaps Sherlock and John and has Sherlock choose between John and Moriarty for who will deflower Sherlock like a drone would a real queen bee.

When honeybees mate, the drone's penis is forcibly removed from his body and remains inside the queen, while the drone dies of his injuries. Sherlock, being aware of this, chooses Moriarty.

Torchwood x-over Mpreg

(Anonymous) 2012-06-20 03:57 am (UTC)(link)
I haven't seen this on any of the other posts, but if someone has already done this by some strange chance, I apologize for the repeat. :)

Sherlock/John bottom!John, mpreg!John (no omegaverse, though, please)

John was adopted (whether he's aware of this or not is up to the writer).

Turns out his actual birth parent was Captain Jack 'I'm never getting pregnant again' Harkness (other father up to the writer, though, I do think Capt. John would be a good candidate). For whatever reason, Jack gave the baby up (possibly to keep TW from finding out about his ability to conceive or fear for the child's safety, or whatever) and he ended up with the Watsons who are experiencing a bit of pre-empty nest syndrome as their daughter is getting older and more independent.

John's about to meet his mother/father/bearer whatever you want to call Jack - but not before he suddenly finds himself in the supposedly impossible position of being pregnant.

The fic can be light and comedic (just no crack, please) or dark and angsty (I do love me some John angst and/or h/c). Whether the pregnancy is successful or ends up in miscarriage is up to the writer (no abortion), just no major character death, please.

Surprise!Mpreg for the win!

Seconding this with all my love for the general clusterfuck (and I mean that in the most affectionate of ways) that is Torchwood (well, and they do call John "three-continents" Watson, it's gotta come from somewhere...)!

triggers: necrophilia, Reichenbach

(Anonymous) 2012-06-20 03:59 am (UTC)(link)
John has a hidden superpower. He has the power to raise the dead . . . by having sexual intercourse with them. Mycroft has his work cut out for him keeping John away from Sherlock's putative corpse.

Preferably, Mycroft and Sherlock should not know about John's superpower as of the events of Reichenbach.

She's been dead for years. TW: death denial

(Anonymous) 2012-06-20 03:59 am (UTC)(link)
In Study in Pink, Mycroft speaks of Mummy's disappointment as though she might still be alive.

Give me a Mycroft that's in denial that his dear Mummy is dead, while Sherlock has accepted it and "moved on" in his own way.
